this can get abused by someone just pressing t and leaving his computer while being in his house for no one to notice. I agree it gets annoying but unless they can verify that messages are being sent and then mark then as not afk it could get abuse by just staying in the chat box and leaving.

You realize text chat is the same as using voip in game? It's there for people who either cant be heard by someone, mic isnt working or if just cant talk at that time. Voip should be used at all times when able to but I agree with the fact that text sometimes makes for better RP

I play a criminal myself and although this is fun to do i feel like its failrp and would much prefer seeing actual scenarios where people gesture you to pull over and make it interesting. only down side is if you're alone in your car and get pulled over and you want to roleplay you need to let go of the gas which i find annoying at times.
