So I know that this has been something that everyone that plays or has a criminal character noticed and complained about , and that is lack of content specially when it comes to making money as a criminal . Doing drugs for 5h+ or robbing stores gets stale and boring fast specially if you are up for a long run to actually earn decent amount of money . I've thought about it a bit and figured few things that could be implemented to add things to do besides " creating " your own fun as a criminal . Smuggling Jobs : Most likelly alot of people that play here have played GTA Online at one point or another and had or did a CEO mission , that's where I got the idea from . So as a criminal ( inside official faction ) you'd have few places located across the map which would be " smuggling hangars/warehouses in which people could start a smuggling run . When you start it , you'd have the option of chosing the type of run you want to do ( Jewelry , Counterfeit goods , Electronics etc ) , each selection would have different possible spawn points and one of them would be selected on RNG , when you go to the location there would be a van/suv stashed which would contain it and you will need to deliver it to the same warehouse you started the run from , after you delive it based on the " difficulty " of the run ( Jewelry would give more money but you will get a slower vehicle and a further point of pickup from the warehouse compared to Electronics for example , but would pay more on the successful delivery ) . The way to balance it out with it being a " criminal " activity , police should get an anonymous 911 call with the starting location of it that would mark the vehicle for first 5-10 seconds after the run starts so they can get the general idea of where the criminal is headed with the goods . One thing I've also thought regarding this job is vehicle health/dmg , it exists in the online but I am not sure if it could be implemented here on RAGE . So basicly the lower the health of your vehicle is ( as in more you hit it or get into crashes ) lower the payout on the delivery since the goods would be broken etc. Bounty Hunter Job : So we are all familliar when someone steals your vehicle for example and you decide to regroup with your criminal friends and try and find him cause police is 9/10 times busy with something else more important then chasing bolos. With the implementation of this job it would give civilians/criminals a chance to be involved with other players and " action " and at the same time help others in need . The way I thought it could work is make a checkpoint somwhere on the map that would be suiting for the job of a Bounty Hunter, people could go there to get a job obviously but also that would be a location for anyone in the need of one to go to to make a bounty. When you get to the checkpoint you type a certain command in which you make a selection if you are looking for the vehicle or the person , then give a description and also set your reward after which you type your phone number . After you do so , everyone on " duty " as Bounty Hunter would get a notification that someone made a bounty and receive a text on their phone with the information of it from the anonymous number with the description of the bounty and the phone number of the creator of it in order to contact him when the job is done ( as in found the car/person of interest ) . When both parties meet on the end of the bounty , person with the job of Bounty Hunter types a command for example /bountyoffer which the person who posted it accepts and pays with the reward they entered when they made the bounty from their bank account . So no way from anyone to get scammed . I've got plenty of other ideas regarding criminal/civilian life , but would like to hear your oppinions before or if I should even post any more

Please read the topics before posting an answer , I've said multiple times that for older cars who do not come with gps in stock variants of the vehicles , you get an option to buy it at LSC/Bayview as a modification to your vehicle ...

There are trucks with 500 volume , so it's unrealistic for a house to have smaller stash then the truck has ... No matter how big the truck is , you will still manage to fit more stuff inside your appartment/house

Personally I think the reasoning is because if you stick a gun out the window people do not react to it / do not see it , while in real life if you'd see a car full of people aiming guns at your vehicle driving next to you and gesturing for you to pull over you would , but here you cannot do that sadly

I think if you manage to steal a police cruiser , you should have access to " search " part of MDC as in warrant / bolo searches ... Because RP speaking MDC is a computer inside the car , so why wouldn't we be able to use it if we manage to steal the vehicle ? Yes it would be badge protected etc. , but I am sure that if you were to steal a cruiser you could bring it to someone who could be able to take it apart and reset it or get into the database etc. . Nothing major , just something that I think should be doable

I'd say , try it for 1 day , how much harm can it do ? If anything it will just give information of how players actually feel about it after playing with it for a whole day

Exactly.. that is my point , new players shouldn't know everything RPly and OOCly I personally think that you shouldn't come to play on an RP server without playing either single player or online , not only because of the map but because of guns , commands , hotkeys , mechanics etc.

Just make it so you are only able to use to go BACK to default dimension by one command without you chosing what dimension you will endup in ( as in make it so when you type a command it sets your dimension to the default one where everyone is at ) , if you are in prison and you type a command it will place you into a dimension where everyone is at while in prison etc. That way it cannot be abused since you cannot change dimension , but only revert it to the default one of the current enterior/exterior you are in

Personally , I think it would greatly increase the way people speak and play , because not only the speed issue would be sorted out cause people wouldn't know when a turn is coming up before they can actually see it , and also would increase the quality of people asking for rides or driving to a place , cause people would start reffering to street names and actually caring about them more since you wouldn't have your map active 24/7 no matter what vehicle you are driving or if you are on foot .. That's atleast my way looking at it , and I've explained about the reply made about new players in one of the posts above

Exactly and that's why you should be able to see it only when you lift your phone up ... and that way you cannot use it permanently and need to charge more often if you want map ..

2 reasons why I do not agree : 1) In my oppinion if you are that new to the game you shouldn't go on RP servers , but either play GTA Online or Story Mode first to learn how the game works and the mechanics before you actually hop on into the more advanced enviroment 2) Compared to RL , if you are new to the city , you do not know the layout of the city or have the map oppened 24/7 , if you open the map of the whole city irl that is represented IG ( ESC > Map ) , and if you use a gps in the car or open the phone app that is the small map on the bottom left which should be in my oppinion only shown when you either take the phone with F2 or purchase a GPS on /modview.

Yeah exactly ... Like have it availlable only in certain scenarios , when you go F2 > click on the phone and bring it up > then you can do it etc. Or if you are in the modern car or buy a modification at LSC/Bayview for it tto be installed etc.

I feel like minimaps should be removed if you are not a vehicle that RPly has " a gps monitor " . So if the car is an older model it most likelly won't have a gps system on it installed or if it does add it as an option in modview and basicly if you buy it , you get the minimap in the car . No reason to have minimap on foot , think the game would be more immersive if the minimap was gone unless in a vehicle that has GPS system installed .

No . In my oppinion speed limits should be raised because 70 is way too slow based on the fact it's game and there is no other traffic besides people who actually play. .. Give people higher speed limits and get it lower/higher depending on the area of the town ... If you can implement AI cars , streets wouldn't be dead and people would have a reason to follow reasons , but when streets are open what's the point of going 70 if there is 20 people online and takes you 15 minutes to get from point A to point B? PS: If you invest this and someone steals your car ,you will get plenty of tickets for something you didn't do and then if you actually do it yourself you can just say it wasn't me ... It will just make even more mess and cause people to ignore police even more then they do now

Yeah I know , but imagine having a little box saying for example [ 12:00:00 ] ,and then you actually just cut it out of the video if needed and not be like , FUCK I WISH I USED /TIME SO I CAN HAVE THE EXACT TIME IT HAPPENED , or something like that

I'd say bring it up to 5.000 so players can actually play and "begin" their journey without getting harrased and robbed at every job delivery... Personally I never rob people just for the sakes of it , only time I'd rob someone is if it is for the RP or if they are the enemy of the criminal organisation/gang my character is in

Yes I meant in chat and I meant in real life time of the server , so it's easier for reports , refunds etc. Like it was in the samp

Can we please get timestamps so we can have accurate time of messages or events , it would make everyones life easier and it was a core component in SA:MP ?

Agree , and I also think it might be causing some crash issues since I do not remember people crashing this often before snow was added
