Date and Time of Issue (provide timezone): Ongoing Your characters name: Vincent Benelli Other player(s) involved: N/A Evidence and/or notes worth mentioning: I am receiving the error 'Something went wrong. Please try again.' I believe this is keeping me from posting in many in character forums?
  2. +1 This is great and you could sell parking access as well as rent the property it self. Very cool idea.
  3. +1 I agree there are too many non-essential/metagaming messages in the server. Constant messages in the top left is also kind of annoying at times. A lot of the information is not important.
  4. +1 I have also seen black market fish like endangered species like Sharks implemented in servers and that adds another dynamic to policing/coast guard opportunities.
  5. Personally, I think to make things more interesting/realistic, the money laundering should go through registered businesses. A criminal organization is not a business, necessarily, unless they own a legitimate business. Gangs/criminal enterprises would have to work with business partners to setup "fronts" for them to launder their money. This would also open up possibilities for new police units to enforce laws pertaining to fraud/money laundering. Money laundering, or the use of "dirty money" on its own is a played out/no-rp value element of a lot of communities, so adding it in a similar fashion where everyone has to go through some criminal enterprise is just predictable.
  6. What I've seen be successful in other communities is to allow lawyers to negotiate charges at holding, and then also be there to decide whether or not a client wants to go to court. I think do to the sheer number of criminal charges on the server, that only top felonies would even be considered for court cases. District Attorney/Judge would review case files and decide which cases are legitimate enough to go to court. THEN, joint court dates would be set where there would be many cases heard. Some may be pushed to next date, etc.
  7. I agree with @givejoshamosin that the taxes part over complicates the implementation of a great idea. I think that a freelance trash pickup job would be great to just have a truck to go around picking up trash and pay x items found. Maybe also a decent base salary since these people would be civil servants.
