  1. +1 from me and like others have said, make it only while stationary.
  2. As someone that's played mostly legal factions (DOC and now some PD) and only a small time crim character(I still have a lot of time on this character, just no faction) since I've been on the server, I definitely don't want to see the burden of any balancing to fall onto any of the players themselves. Out of the suggestions for LEOs I only really like the suggestion about a departmental budget, but the implementation of such a thing would likely take a huge amount of time to get into the server and balanced properly. And I'd really only like to see it for "special equipment", such as certain heavies, vehicles, etc. The departments would always have access to a lot of basic equipment as it would be necessary to function. I do think the "best" move here would be to do as others have said here, decrease the grind for criminal characters. As it stands, none of the small time crim stuff feels worth it to do. I'm coasting on the money I have saved up right now and the nerf to the cost of chopped parts and stuff came at a time where I just passed off a huge amount of stuff to an organization to facilitate better gun prices for myself and my small group that I play crim with. I went from a 200k transaction to around probably 120k or so. I'm glad they've made the recent changes to prison times, I think that was a good move in the right direction, then there was the atm buff, which was nice, but around christmas they changed the prices of all the other stuff, which put ATMs back to just as bad as they were on top of nerfing everything else. Alleviating the loss seems like a good solution instead of spreading it to both sides and getting more people salty about losing stuff. This is a game and we're supposed to be playing it for fun.
  3. This budget part of your comment is similar to something I've been thinking up for a bit, it'd be nice to see some sort of way to push a little more realism on the LEO side of things without gimping them too much. Having to manage a daily supplies limit on the amount of vehicles, weapons, armor, etc they use would be a nice way to do that, and it would make sense as a "budgetary" constraint. I feel like this kind of system would be hard to implement initially, but once it was dialed in it would alleviate a lot of the complaints.
  4. +1 from me as well, seems like a no brainer when you can do it while carrying a heavy crate. If needed have it take time to open or close the trunk while carrying a body (the little circle that fills up).
  5. +1 for some kind of change on the range, either removing it or increasing it. I've had a few instances of asking someone to stand around awkwardly while I type out a /goodRP because I don't want them to walk or drive too far away after our RP is done for me to not be able to get that through. I had always assumed that the /goodRP or /badRP messages were stored somewhere for staff or admins to review if needed. Would be cool to see the /goodRP ones get listed on the panel or something.
  6. +1 While I'm still newer to PD on my new character, I try my best to hit the impounds when I see notifications and am available to do so (I've had a crim the entire time I've played Eclipse so I know the pain of waiting at impound for 30+ minutes). When I show up there and no one is around, it kind of sucks because I just want to help someone get this thing knocked out and provide some RP, but they're at the other impound lot. I can generally assume that most notifications are for the Los Santos impound lot and not the Paleto one, but not always.
  7. Definitely heard and saw this a lot while in DOC. "Hey, I'm making a legal character, how is working here? What are the requirements?" I do feel like everyone should play legal side and crim side at some point though to have perspective on how things work from both angles.
  8. +1 Would love to see something like this. The amount of times I heard "I've been tazed so many times, I'm immune now." while in DOC was astounding. On my crim I'm done after 3, usually stop after 2 and RP being weak. It's not hard to do. But seeing people get tazed 10+ times and just continue to go full speed without any reason is super annoying. If added at a script level, it would help a lot. I don't like forced RP, but there are a few too many people that refuse to RP any tazer effects at all.
  9. +1 I haven't played my criminal much since this supposed nerf, but if it is indeed something that changed I would like to see it reverted. It already felt like houses got a slight nerf sometime ago, I feel like I was getting around ~55k on average from them after selling everything (~35k profit after the cost of the contract), but the last like 10 that I've done I think were around ~45k (~25k profit), which almost doesn't feel worth it as I generally did these with one other person for the RP. If it's even less now, I'd never do another house robbery. I only ever really robbed stores as it was low effort ways to make money and the recent buff to the amount of cash you get from ATMs made me try a few of those every once in a while. I'd really like to see both Store and ATM robberies get some kind of overhaul to make them more "fun" to do. I could only stand to do a few at a time before I would get bored and want to do something else. If they are worth less money now, I feel even less like I want to do these activities. Edit: Forgot to even talk about chopped cars. If they got nerfed as well that is pretty much all the stuff I did as a crim getting nerfed as I play a petty criminal with no gang affiliation, which makes the risk to go to labs much higher as I generally don't have much backup (I'm fine with this part, I feel like solo crims or small groups SHOULD feel these places are high risk).
  10. +1 Seeing people get their car out of impound only to realize they have to call a mechanic and wait even longer before being able to move onto other forms of RP is disheartening. If it comes out of impound in at least a drivable state, then people still have to provide RP opportunities to Mechanics to get it repaired the rest of the way.
  11. +1 Maybe make a cap on how many we can purchase with in game currency so as to not gimp the donation aspect of this in the credit store. SOME additional parking storage this would be better than what we have now. I've been looking at purchasing property to specifically get around this issue, but the housing market is really bad.
  12. Doing small chops as a solo crim isn't bad money for the effort you put into it. I do think a positive change to chopping would be to increase the amount of local cars available, but lower the price you get per part to even it out. I don't chop often anymore on my crim, but when I do I feel like I spend way too much time just looking for a car to take than anything. Either the amount of spawns needs to be upped or the respawn rate needs to be adjusted. Also changing the minigame on pulling the parts off would be huge, but that's a whole suggestion on it's own.
  13. While I would like for something like this to be in effect, there is no way LEOs could know the correct response numbers unless they had metagame knowledge of the situation and the intentions of the person committing the crime. I myself am a petty criminal on my crim character and find it annoying when 10 cops show up to a traffic stop I'm involved in or when I'm unarmed and have ARs pulled on me by LEOs, but at the same time I understand there are limitations in what we can expect in terms of "realism" within GTA RP. Realism can only go so far in this, because we're actively playing a game.
  14. Can confirm I've had similar results with the new fix. Also someone can be talking on the radio and only some people can hear them, but not everyone. Has happened a few times in DOC since the update.
  15. +1 to this, anything that adds more things to do on the crim side that isn't labs or shootouts would be a big W for me. Could also open up RP opportunities for people to be Graffiti artists. Not sure how easy it would be to have a decal placed at a certain point on a wall or floor within RageMP, but I feel like I saw something like this on another server.
  16. +1 Coming from a mostly legal faction player (DOC and PD) who only does minor crimes on my crim. The last gunfight I got into with an LEO I shot him 14 times with an AK (confirmed by him in a PM after when we were laughing about the interaction) and he didn't go down. This was him responding to a store robbery. Seems kind of silly to be able to take that many shots in standard patrol equipment. I take my Ls regularly being a small time crim, so I never have any expectations of winning a shootout with LEOs, but the one time I go relatively prepared, have a good vantage point and get them by surprise, it is a bit disappointing to not even down someone. Granted had there not been two other guys to take up some of the other bullets I likely would have, but still. 1 guy shouldn't take 14 bullets from an AR unless he's setup to do a raid or respond to something like a terrorist threat imo.
  17. +1 I see this as a positive from both a guard and crim perspective. Some folks like to continue their RP immediately after getting into prison and won't log off for a bit, but then they still have to do that mandatory last hour at the end even if they spent an hour and a half already RPing in prison.
