Chester213 Posted June 11, 2021 Report Share Posted June 11, 2021 Hey, A lot of us find themselves waiting 20-60 minutes at impound lot for a cop to arrive just so he can release your car. I believe it wastes a lot of time that can be used to RP or to anything else that actually involves us doing something. We waste a lot of time waiting for PD to show up without knowing when it's going to happen. I believe that for this problem there's an easy solution - NPC at impound lot. This NPC will look like an officer, and by aiming at him and pressing 'E' you will be able to release any of your vehicles. It will check all the stuff that a regular PD officer does. NeganTrueSavior Posted June 12, 2021 Report Share Posted June 12, 2021 i love the idea but i am going to challenge u on this what if the Police Take in and impound a RV thats been cooking Coke i saw theses guys the police turned in a rv smoking and only reason cops notice was the fact he saw the smoke a NPC i don't think wont see that what do you think they could do to make sure cooks don't get away with RVs cooking Coke currently. Jbacon Posted August 6, 2021 Report Share Posted August 6, 2021 So the impound is a point of contention for both pd and the players... it is a low rp exchange that can be a hassle for both sides. I am an advocate for a script or npc, but there needs to be certain conditions put in place surrounding the releases. Currently PD runs a check on your license (must be valid) they also check outstanding tickets and warrants... so should an NPC be the way this goes, it would need to be able to check this, as well as notify PD should someone with a suspended license or tickets/warrants try and get a car out. Jbacon Posted August 19, 2021 Report Share Posted August 19, 2021 I'm not sure how the coding and all that would work... but I would be open to that... issue is it would need to be limited to a specfic impound as it would make no sense for me as PD to turn on an NPC at the Paletto impound.
