They have provided justice for those who received none from the Law. Finding a way way to provide for - and have expanded from other cities in America. A small contingent of the mob came to Los Santos to set up what they could; the first group from New York. Upon arriving the group did small time deals. Ran into street gangs, lost good people and many friends while making money. Times have changed and the books are open. Those with Italian Fathers aren't the only ones allowed in anymore, and small connections are being made on the street, and with more prominent groups in the city. Β Working with caution, The Gambino Family does everything it can to keep itself hidden from law enforcement and the general public. Staying legitimate with connections; they have been making deals, equipping themselves and others throughout the city with firearms. With low time street gangs prominent in the area, they more than happy to aid people who rightfully need it. There is no drug rule in this day in age, and some are even selling drugs on the street. Β Establish connections with other factions & crews within the city Acquire a nice estate to act as a base of operation and areas around it Amass a large amount of firearms Amass a large amount of wealth Distribute contraband & drugs Distribute automatic weapons Β BOSS Only the boss, underboss or consigliere can initiate an associate into the family, allowing them to become a made man. Β UNDERBOSS The underboss is second to the boss. If a boss is incarcerated, the underboss may become acting boss. CONSIGIERE The consigliere is a close trusted friend and confidant, the mob's version of an elder - or advisor. CAPOREGIME Made member of an Italian crime family who heads a crew of soldiers and has major social status in the organization. SOLDIER (MADE) A soldato or soldier is the first official rank. The promotion to soldier is an elevation from the associate level; the associate must prove himself to the family, and take the oath of OmertΓ . ASSOCIATE Associates are employed as drivers, bodyguards, hit-men, enforcers, errand boys, or money collectors for high-ranking members of the mafia. Associated are usually either money-makers or good hit men.
