Demonyk Posted October 19, 2020 Report Posted October 19, 2020 Currently there is no way to show someone that a car is yours to anyone but a cop and they have to use the MDC. I think that a registration command should be added for vehicles, where you need to go to the DMV and acquire it for a small fee. This would also help to bring some more RP to the DMV other than the god awful drivers test. The command would work similar to the license command, /reg(istration) 1-however many cars you have. In my opinion, pullover RP is very bland, and i think the ability to have a registration and actually be able to show it (/showreg(istration) 1-whatever) would help make it a bit more realistic and immersive. To add even more RP the to DMV, i think you should have to go to it to transfer vehicles as you would IRL, a simple office interior and desk with a prompt there would be sufficient to provide realistic RP to transfer over titles to vehicles. Additionally, a simple insurance system for vehicles would be nice. Simply a flat rate or monthly (weekly) payment that makes your car either free OR discounted from Mors. 1
Pegasus_ Posted October 19, 2020 Report Posted October 19, 2020 +1 I think it would be cool to have some form of documentation about ownership of the car. The /registration command is a good idea, being like a piece of paper tied to the car, so PD can ask “license and registration please”. However, I don’t think it should be /registration, but rather /registration (license plate), or if you’re in a car it would default to that specific vehicle.
Demonyk Posted October 19, 2020 Author Report Posted October 19, 2020 Id rather it be by numbers, as license plates are a pain in the ass to type in all the time. I would say that numbering in /vehiclestats would be the best option. So say you do /vehiclestats and the car has a 2 beside it, you would do /reg(istration) 2 to view the registration for the car.
CaesarSeizure Posted October 19, 2020 Report Posted October 19, 2020 Like the insurance idea, could have varying degrees that could impact the cost and time from mors.
