Percival Posted June 24, 2020 Report Posted June 24, 2020 (edited) Problem: The server is constantly filled with dropped clothing, bottles, soda, water, etc. Some items cause accidents on the road when a vehicle collides with it, others just simply look really annoying to see a random object on the pavement. Solution: Create the ability for players to recycle items, and/or to donate them to charity. This system will reduce the amount of litter on the server's roads and streets, and offer players a fun and beneficial way to "CLEAN" up the server :D. Recycling - Add a recycling plant/center in Metro Los Santos, and Paleto Bay. - Players will be able to go to these locations, and recycle items such as plastic, glass, and aluminium. - Players will walk onto the point, and drop... soda can, glass bottles, empty water bottles for a NON-TAXED reimbursement. - This non-taxed reimbursement goes into the player's CASH pocket directly. - Any item that contains the three elements can be recycled. - FIREARMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE RECYCLING CENTER, AND IF PLAYER ATTEMPTS TO RECYCLE IT, IT WILL NOT ACCEPT THE FIREARM, and will ALERT THE AUTHORITIES. **Someone is attempting to recycle a firearm at the Metro Los Santos Recycling Center** Donation - Add a location of a "non-profit organization" in Metro LS and Paleto Bay. (IC = Red Cross / YMCA type organization or Los Santos Charity Center / Paleto Charity Center) - Players will be ale to go to the locations to donate items. Items that can be donated.... All pieces of clothing, accessories, etc. [.5% tax bracket] Eatable food. [1%] Fully filled beverages. [1.5%] Players will be provide tax credit percentage to reduce the percentage of taxes they'll have to pay the next time they withdraw from SALARY. The tax credits can be accumulated to 100% of their tax bracket (100% = No taxes paid) Each item will have their own percent of tax credit. Player 1's tax bracket is at 35% - Donates a top and a mask and receives .5 each percent tax reduction - the 35% bracket is reduced by 1% and is now 34% until the next salary withdrawal. givejoshamosin Posted June 24, 2020 Report Posted June 24, 2020 (edited) I like this but the Taxes is over complicating things, maybe just make it so you get a % of them cost of the item back when recycling. Or as all shops have different prices, just make every item recycled gets you 200 in cash when dropped at the recycling plant. It would also be a good way for criminals to dispose of accessories to their crime like knives and guns, if they drop them into the recycling machine Edited June 24, 2020 by givejoshamosin
Vincent Bonelli Posted June 24, 2020 Report Posted June 24, 2020 I agree with @givejoshamosin that the taxes part over complicates the implementation of a great idea. I think that a freelance trash pickup job would be great to just have a truck to go around picking up trash and pay x items found. Maybe also a decent base salary since these people would be civil servants.
Percival Posted June 25, 2020 Author Report Posted June 25, 2020 Edited to adjust tax part. Quote Players will be provide tax credit percentage to reduce the percentage of taxes they'll have to pay the next time they withdraw from SALARY. The tax credits can be accumulated to 100% of their tax bracket (100% = No taxes paid) Each item will have their own percent of tax credit. Fanci Posted June 27, 2020 Report Posted June 27, 2020 Or just be able to sell back clothing to clothing stores for 10% of what was paid for it. would be nice.
Xoza Posted June 27, 2020 Report Posted June 27, 2020 (edited) The tax thing kind of complicates it. Just make it so you can simply deposit items for a bit of extra salary, including firearms. Should be at the dump. ---Related--- Edited June 27, 2020 by Xoza
