Bistek
Yes, you heard it right. The ones who played SAMP will remember in certain servers you had a channel which only newbies could see (or had it togged on, depending the server) and actually ask newbie questions, like, 'how to fish', 'how to park car' and such. In my point of view, this would reduce the income of those questions to /report, keeping it only for admin assistance. Once that player reaches 5k~6k of experience, the channel gets togged off automatically (same goes for existing players, obviously). '/newbie' to speak on it maybe '/tognewbie' to turn it on and off Edited April 26, 2019 by Bistek
Randul
Support staff in game handle those questions happily, leaving the mod related reports to the moderators and admins.
Bistek
Ok so whenever you /report, support takes them? Thought only admins could see /report. Nice!!! You can close this, then. Thank you for your time by answering to the thread. Edited April 26, 2019 by Bistek
Salvador Rivera
I better support this /newbie than /report its faster and better for new guys !
Linden
Separating general questions from actual reports could be handy just to clean things up for for mods/admins.
Randul
It's a pretty clean system to be honest, supports will handle /report 1 as they are typically questions asked by new players or anyone really. The problem I see with separateing the channels is you make the system more complex for no real gain and you further the risk of misinformation being spread due to there is no vetting on who is answering those questions.
alexalex303
There have also been issues with players misusing channels like this to metagame, and yes it's easy to trace, but it does require monitoring, so in the end it creates more work than it eliminates.
