NotKempi Posted Friday at 12:39 PM Report Posted Friday at 12:39 PM (edited) Given the recent events and declining server population I believe it would be very beneficial for the community ot once again be active on social medias, some videos back in 2024 when posted as youtube shorts reached views in the thousands which helps the community reach out to new players. Especially now with several RageMP servers closing down and opting not to migrate to FiveM there's an opportunity for the community to try and snag players who want something on FiveM they feel more comfortable and familiar with, but for this to happen players will need to know of the community and the fact that EclipseRP will be migrating with progressions carrying over. My suggestion would be to create a team that's dedicated to being active on social media, a channel on Discord could even be made for clip submissions where if a clip is used for social media a small credit reward could be issued to the player as an incentive for players to clip funny moments and post them, alternatively just find funny moments in #Fashion or have members of the staff team record AltRP and showcase it, the monthly media contests winners could easily be crossposted to Instagram with video submissions going onto Youtube / TikTok. There are The reality is that without promoting the server we're actively losing out on potential players. If posting player clips and images, the little work compared to the potential gain make being active on social media no-brainer to me and I find it a shame that it's something that has died off. Without new players, the server population will slowly dribble out until you reach a critical point where everyone feels there's simply not enough players to log on at any points. With support for the server to be publicly visible on June 1st the only way for us to get new players will be via word-of-mouth or for players to somehow find the community on their own making social media presence more important than ever to support the server until we are able to migrate to FiveM. PenguWin Posted Friday at 01:43 PM Report Posted Friday at 01:43 PM +1, especially with the move to FiveM, there’s a lot of potential for growth. Instead of the current media contests which servers no purpose in my opinion, the community could submit content such as funny RP clips, chases, and other gameplay moments. Players be rewarded for their submissions, while the clips are also used across social media platforms to attract new players and keep the current playerbase engaged. Quote

Requiem Posted Friday at 05:28 PM Report Posted Friday at 05:28 PM @Timmaayy and @Ranger would be the best points of contact for this concept for content creation management and the video contests. Quote
Timmaayy Posted Friday at 08:18 PM Report Posted Friday at 08:18 PM I'll bring this up with the founders, and discuss what can be done. Currently, anything that is posted in fashion can be posted on our social media platforms. I understand these platforms have gone dormant so I will make sure this is included in the discussion and see what options there are. We also have our content creators which are rewarded with free VIP, I will take a look if this can be revitalised also. 1 Quote
