My suggestion is simply making this 18+ server. With RP that happens in the server kids should not be allowed. I know ID checks may not be possible but if someone admits to being under 18 or if its extremely obvious

I fully agree with this suggestion and honestly think it would benefit the server long-term. The type of RP, themes, conversations, and situations that happen within the server are not really appropriate for minors. Even outside of explicit content, a lot of serious or mature roleplay topics can blur lines that younger people should not really be involved in. Making the server officially 18+ would help establish a clearer standard for the community and also make expectations much easier for staff to enforce.

I understand that full ID verification is not always realistic, especially for a gaming/RP community, but there are still ways staff could reasonably handle it without invading privacy. For example, if someone openly admits they are under 18, states their age in chat, or it becomes extremely obvious through their behavior or conversations, staff should be allowed to remove them based on the server policy. Another option could be requiring users to confirm they are 18+ during verification or when accepting the rules, making it clear that lying about their age can result in a permanent ban if discovered later.

Staff could also look for repeated signs such as users openly talking about school ages, saying they are underage in other servers, or inconsistencies that make it clear they are not adults. In situations where there is serious concern, staff could privately request some form of age confirmation without needing full personal information shown publicly. Even something as simple as confirming birth year through a secure process would probably be enough in most cases.

At the end of the day, I think this is less about trying to “gatekeep” the server and more about protecting both the community and the staff team. An 18+ label creates a safer environment for mature RP, reduces unnecessary risks, and makes moderation decisions much easier and more consistent moving forward.

idk i met great guys under 18 who play pretty well amongst the rules, i have also met people who are trash and are older of age, 
age is not an issue for the server i expierence

Games an 18+ to begin with so there is that..... but the player base aint what it once was, can we afford to be as picky? 

 

Say we remove 50 active under 18 players.. maybe thats like 3-5 less on the player count at any one time. Less on the player count, less likely anyone is to join the server, regardless of age.
