  • Roadworking
  • burgershot
  • fishing
  • oil refining
  • Mining
  • working a full time job
  • robbing houses
  • robbing stores
  • chopping cars
  • gambling
  • boosting ATMs
  • stealing licence plates
  • hunting
  • doing jobs in DOC
  • farming
  • Simply existing (Passive income.)

...to name but a few. most of these are relatively risk free and most of them will net you 20k within 1-3 hours. some require equipment, some do not. all of them can be done solo if you wish tho some at a limited capacity. play the game your way.

Really the ignorance would be acting like theres no way to make money in this city. theres absolutely loads of options...most people simply dont want to do them and want to just PvP their way to a steady income.

So 1-3 hours for something that can be taken from you in a few seconds. I'll repeat myself, spoken with true ignorance.

95% of the time I see you on this forum you're always opposing somebody else's opinion.

Very true. but this is where a certain level of savvy gamer strategy comes into play.

If you play a certain way, yeah that 20k will go real quick. and youll be back to square one. but if you play it another way, you can turn that 20k into 50k, then into 100k and so forth, before you know it you have a healthy bank account.

Yes there will be setbacks, some Ls taken along the way, but this isnt a single player game. there will be winners and losers. win the aggregate like others have.

Also the note of 95% of the form im opposed to someone is because rarely is a suggestion so unbelieveably fantastic that everyone agrees with it...therefore i will always be disargeeing with someone. i find discussions and debates alot more fun than just posting "+1 i fk wit dis ong frfr." or "-1 💀 " sorry if that annoys you.

This is the only way i can possibly see armor becoming legal for civilians to purchase, and as a way for criminals to potentially rob/purchase the armor without having to acquire it through imports from the cartel.

1. all armor would have to be serialized, just like firearms, so the sale and use can be tracked.

2. all armor that becomes damaged and require replacement would have to be turned into law enforcement, a fee paid to /donate government, and a form filled out with bodycam RP / footage showing how and why the armor was damaged and or lost. full replacement would be an expensive fine due to the loss of death/theft

3. a new license would have to be created for being able to purchase armor, and the only people that would be eligible are those that have held a valid guard card and work for an active security business for a set amount of time, like 2-3 months. probably locked behind LFM based legal faction tiers to be allowed to have this privilege to own armor as a civilian legally.

4. the only armor available would be 20AP / 50AP.

5. the gunstore cost of the armor would have to be extremely high, double to triple cartel import pricing.

This is the only way i can see law enforcement and the state government allowing the use of private body armor. all of this restrictions, red tape, paperwork required to own body armor as a legal citizen would be so time and cost prohibitive, it wouldn't be worth the effort for small time gangs to acquire legally.

i dont think 6 year old account with 1,5k posts and with characters known throughout the city would be ignorant on the topic of making 20k a day.

You can get up to 25k in 2 hours freelancing.
you can get up to 100k in 2 hours doing illegal things maybe even more that i dont even know about.

Cool - both require a LOT of time for something that can be robbed in a second and the second option requires a huge risk in capital - respectfully i've been here 4 years too, I do understand how things work, all I was referring to is how inflated prices are and due to this how unrealistically prominent robberies are

The prices are understandable. You raise the salary of freelance jobs, everything will cost much more at high end.
Also if i dont like you, im not going to sell you anything. At most I will sell you at a stupidly boosted price. I dont know men what to tell you but armor is hard to acquire but not impossible. Just need to go and try and try and try and try and try until someone messages you back and sells. If 20k per piece is crazy then i dont know what to tell you other than something disrepectful like `dont be lazy`
I like this server because there is a sense of accomplishment here. Every other server I see i get an appartment for free and a car for free or i can just steal an NPC car without any repercussions. Feels like nothing was earned.
Here there is so much to accomplish/discover especially for a new player, if you are here for 4 years and consider 20k for armor too much then bro i dont know what you have been doing.

If 2 hours is a lot of time to have money for AP then sorry bro it is just how it is. I guess it is time to get in to the acceptance stage idk

but you can make money off of it...

like passive income, chopping etc. its not something youll commit all your time to, but you can make some extra cash doing opportunistic crime with it.

This is again my point, there's a lot of ways to make money as a crim, the typical curve is the higher risk the activity, the higher potential rewards (with some outliers.) The lower the risk, the less profit, but the less chance of getting caught/killed.

so yeah. typically, doing labs, cooking drugs etc has the highest potential reward, but also the highest chance of getting rotflolstomped in the process. whereas doing something like say, chopping small, has much less reward, but assuming you do it smartly, its almost impossible to get caught, even as a solo.

It’s actually easier than people think to build connections with established groups and buy Kevlar from them. If you’re willing to swallow your pride and offer something they need to maintain their turf or operations, they’re usually open to making deals. It’s more of a transactional relationship, sure, but if you help them out, they’re more likely to help you in return.
