Lynn Foster Posted December 28, 2024 Report Posted December 28, 2024 Adding german shepherds would be nice as a general pet and also for the various K9 divisions. Could go in the regular shop or in the credit store I think it would be popular either way. 4 Quote
Quietthecutie Posted December 28, 2024 Report Posted December 28, 2024 +1. Wild that the most ubiquitous police dog isnt in the game. plus its a fun pupper. Quote
TerrorViper Posted December 28, 2024 Report Posted December 28, 2024 +1 Can't believe they aren't yet in the game Quote

Real talk This would also be very good, but probably a lot harder to implement. Currently how K9 ownership works is identical to the civilian pet ownership. you buy your K9 oocly through the pet store or bitcoin, then RP recieving them from your department. same as how we spawn them in and out. same way as civilians. So having custom models for LEO K9 units would be a greater challenge. Quote
Woot_beerfloat Posted December 29, 2024 Report Posted December 29, 2024 +1 Feels like it shouldnt be too hard. as far as the K9 for policing, would it be possible to maybe create custom pet ped for K9 users? Maybe something along those lines if thats how it works Quote

Maybe something along those lines if thats how it works copy and paste the id number of the unit, rename it as K9 Dog and a youtube video which explains how to install a gta 5 mod for k9 dogs. simple as Quote
QueenOfMisfit Posted January 10, 2025 Report Posted January 10, 2025 +1 I would like to see them implemented. I feel like they are so important and mainly known for being k9 unit dogs. Quote
Tachi Posted January 10, 2025 Report Posted January 10, 2025 +1 as someone who is highly invested in the k9 division on the lspd side, it will encourage people to be immersed more into the fact its not a regular pet, more so a "highly trained and capable" dog. not sure how hard this would be to implement, however, i am aware it can be done as i have seen the german shepherd model that you are talking about.
