Demonmit1
There are several locations around the map that having a server forced road closure, with assets placed to block access, could be an interesting short term event/effect on the server that people would have to manage and work around. They would be significant enough to change the flow of players travel and strategies on how to evade. the goal would to make these shutdowns a small server event, that only last for a few days, max a week. RPly these can be set up with assets to look like its shut down for major reconstruction. here are a couple locations that could be shut down. 1. Shut down Los Santos Freeway at the intersection with Palomino Freeway, just south of DOC. there's adequate bypass options around this that are available, and i feel this shut down for a certain amount of time (couple days to a week) could change up the flow of how people move and work on the server. 2. shut down Los Santos Freeway a bit further north, East of Sandy Shores, north of the hardware store. again, adequate options for bypassing this area, and would be a significantly impactful thing to shut down for a few days to a week. 3. Shut down the Southbound lane of traffic through Braddock Tunnel. theres no nearby bypass, so this would be a significantly more invasive shutdown option, forcing people to avoid this freeway going south, and find a different route, mainly forcing traffic all along the west coast freeway. 4. Shutdown Zancudo Bridge. again a big shut down but with several longer options to bypass. 1
XxTheIrishGuyxX
+1 I agree with this idea. Maybe this will be only in effect for 1 week. I would agree this would help see something different and change up the pace.
Quietthecutie
An interesting idea but i have massive reservations regarding GPS routing particularly for emergency services. if not handled carefully this could gridlock the server.
