Joseph Petrov Posted August 29, 2022 Report Posted August 29, 2022 I believe that having a standard license such as a citizen's license would look real nice and would be pretty immersive too. If government workers stop you and ask for a license and nothing shows up when doing /license the government workers still somehow see your license regardless. Also on the other hand when in prison and asking for parole they ask you for your license which prisoners don't actually carry around in their pocket irl. So why would it differ here? Having a prisoner number when in jail would be a far better approach than showing your driver's license or a blank license for rp reasons. It also looks better to say "Can you show me your prisoner number so I can look you up on the database?" or "Can you show me your citizen id/license?" I've made two mockup licenses that I belive would be pretty immersive and realistic (not artistic though) 1 Quote
Chunder Posted August 29, 2022 Report Posted August 29, 2022 This would be great! In DOC we RP all inmates keeping their licenses as we don't' RPly take them. It means we can ask them who they are as realistically they'd have identifiers, such as numbers, to say who they are. Quote
Purely Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 +/-1 Although it would be nice to have some difference in licenses, there has been some other suggestions involving being able to show individual licenses, pehaps adding "/license ID prison" could be another one! Quote
Cyrus Raven Posted August 30, 2022 Report Posted August 30, 2022 I would like to see /license removed and /show implemented into various options that each show a unique graphic. /show id /show driverlicense /show weaponlicense While it does add more commands, I think it's more realistic than showing all your licenses to someone via /license 1 2 Quote
Requiem Posted August 31, 2022 Report Posted August 31, 2022 +1 to the suggestion and +1 to the above additions, especially unique graphics. I think it would be more immersive and add some nice RP to make IDs more versatile with what you could do with them and look at a real graphic instead of the text we have now. Quote
