  1. These suggestions are here to increase accessibility into the awesome new Chopshop system. I love the ideas behind it, but unless you are in an official faction, access is limited at the very best. Make Car Jacks Portable I would love to see this be made portable, to be used without the tool chest. This gives a way for players who aren't in an official faction to have some ability to do things on their own to cars, by being able to only take doors and tires. This way, you can quickly run off with a tire, for a quicker buck, rather than trying to steal the whole car. Mechanics (LSC, Bayview) could replace the tire in repairs, or have general stores sell "Spare Tires" to make it drive-able again. Three strikes for Hotwiring & Lockpicking Simple enough, with ping, desync and lag, people can make mistakes they can't avoid for one round. This would make the system a touch more forgiving, while still being the newer skill intensive system. I would also suggest expanding the whole wheel's size slightly by 10%, for visibility and less eyestrain. Thank you Kris for the clarification that anyone can use the toolbox, its just official factions that can import them. Have a Permanent Chop-shop on the Map I would have the suggestion to have a "Rusted Tool Chest" in a static location, such as in the Industrial area garages by Voodoo Place, and/or one of the abandoned sheds in Grapeseed. The rusted chest would have a slower timer to encourage players to use the player run ones, but would still allow newer players, or gang members of unofficial gangs to still use the system at a cost of time. This would provide a place for active criminal RP, such as the drug labs that could encourage fights over car parts, or cooperation if there's lots of cars to chop from a gang fight.
  2. Date and time (provide timezone): 07/APR/2022 Character name: Sayaka Yukimura Issue/bug you are reporting: Campfire can no longer cook meats Expected behavior: Campfire can cook meats on it Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: While on duty, someone gave me Pig Meat as a way to make fun of the police, which I accepted, fully planning on cooking it on a campfire and eating as free food. However, when I set the campfire up, the degrated meat at 48% is not a valid ingredient. I believe this to be a bug that the campfire expects the old non-percentage spoiled meats. 3. No offense, this is just consequences for previous actions. Don't call 911, text your gang members for a trunk, especially if you've done something BOLO worthy in the past 24 hours. If its for a friend, ask on radio. PD responds to MD calls if A) there are no MD on shift, and we need to help or B) you have a detective/officer looking for you from a BOLO. While its an unfortunate bit of bad luck on your end, it would be avoidable by using resources to get your friend driven to PIllbox without alerting LEOs. I don't see a need to change the system that works, so -1.

    The Underground

Naomi finally got caught. She knew the day would come, and her multiple bank robbery charges would bite her in the ass. One day the law would learn not to transport her alone and easily removed from the DOC parking lot, and today was that day. The bombs didn't go off in time, the highway was completely blocked, the car flipped and everyone surrounded. Naomi had an 8 month sentence on the account of not being able to pay her fines by the whole of $1600, and a annoyed sigh came with the news. An old friend from BSB, Ace Parker gave her a pickaxe, and she set to mining. She got the stamps, lost them in a fight and repeated the process over and over going from the yard to stuck in a cell. She made a half baked escape attempt, popping out the cell doors as a guard, left. Laughing, as more doors were opened than she could have hoped, she ran around the parking lot, trying to find an open vehicle, but her luck ran out eventually. DOC would get its due, and the fun would end. 8 months is a long time to think, and it gave her plenty of time to poke and prod at possible escape ideas in the future. More than anything, she missed her family in Underground, and couldn't wait to be dressed in pink rather than an orange jumpsuit.
  5. +1 for all of the above they look amazing. They would all be great QOL or immersion tools for LEOs. I would like to tag on a previous suggestion of mine into this, about improving the impound:
  6. Right now, the only way to "attack" a car is to lock-pick it. This takes 30 seconds and is a percentage chance to successfully lock-pick or not. While you currently can run up with a knife and slash at tires, it is impossible to aim I would like to add a /slashTires command with the following properties: It would be a 10 second command that would have a 100% success rate. This would deflate the tires, as if they were shot out until the car is parked. This would add more opportunities to RP, such as slashing someone who is cornered tires, or causing havoc on the pier. This could also be used as escalation for DM rights, and allow for more less-lethal RP.

    The Underground

Naomi woke up on her own bed, with a wide smile on her face. It's not often you get to rob a bank, get shot down by a gang officer, and wake up in your own bed that same evening. After a quick trip to Mors' insurance to get her trusty Shinobi back, she radioed in that it's time for work again. Today was a fine day for laundering money, especially with the fines awaiting her, but that was a problem for future Naomi. Naomi met up with everyone under the bridges to tell them all today's plan: Rush the stores Everything went to plan, Palomino, Dyer Delights, Grove with some Black Disciples rushing in to help, behind the bank, and the crew was laughing and smiling as we drove up north to terrorize the rest of the stores. Unfortunately for us, SD had set up a checkpoint on Los Santos Freeway, and Naomi went in, and turned around, and blasted back down the wrong way down the highway. She lost SD for a second on her Shinobi, but it wasn't long until a Sherrif's Crown Vic was behind her, chasing her all around Sandy Shores. Naomi made the radio call for backup, and the crew setup outside the Grapeseed Store, Naomi sped past on her Shinobi, got off and fire was quickly opened on the car, spinning it into the fence with cries of "aah, ahh, CODE 1, CODE 1" with the rest of us laughing, driving down the highway off to go rob more stores. The day ended with plenty of money in the groups pockets, and laundered through our favorite Motorcycle Crew. Naomi slunk back into bed, her insurance bill paid off, and with a large smile on her face.
  8. A massive +1 if its available to crims as well. Currently drills are only used to drill into a bank vault, and if it can drill into a bank vault, it can drill into a civilian safe. I think having thermite as a faster but more expensive solution would be awesome, but its frustrating to open RV's or be involved in some sort of large RP (drug lab explosion, house raid) and be stalled by the safes. I'd love an IC solution that isn't just stand and punch in 10000 combinations. Recently, Naomi raided an RV, spent the time bolt cutting a door only to be met by these safes. Stubbornly, I put in about 500 combinations before giving up, and feeling frustrated that there's no IC way to continue what should have been a tense RP of attempting to steal vs someone noticing the lockpick & boltcutting notifications.
  9. My personal suggestion is instead of /dropbody is to have a /prisonStabilize command that can only be used by DOC officers. The command would work similar to MD's stabilize, but instead of needing to go to the hospital, it would leave them on low health. This would give meaning to the prison fights and the health, but stops the need to OOC hand back peoples items. This would also stop DOC guards from just eternally treating each other, and make it clear that you still need to RP your injuries. Dropbody can easily be abused, and making it an animation and DOC only helps reduce that abuse. From an IC side, I would like guard to need to be trained in this, like they are with many other faction commands, but this one would also require your medical licenses to ICly do it. It would be great if you could scriptly mandate that, but I don't know how hard that would be to implement.
  10. We were attempting to do pink cage bank, and the alarm went off even as we had guns pointed at both of them. We've failed at doing this bank multiple times this week all on this stage, and I went and recorded it myself. https://streamable.com/1zu4s4 https://streamable.com/horfxu

    The Underground

Naomi was adjusting to life without her legal job at Weazel News. On one hand, it was weirdly freeing, but on the other hand, she found herself with too much free time. She had time to discuss the uniforms and structure of The Underground with Melody. The two talked plenty and presented their plan to Charlie and Ace, who agreed that we'd lean on our anarchist routes and make it an official rebellious militia. Even if we weren't sailing the tunnels and canals anymore, Naomi fancied herself and Melody as Admirals and rebranded The Underground from there. She found herself a captain's hat, threw it on, and led the group into shenanigans. She led plenty of cars from the pier, cars from the back of parking, and any bike she could get her hands on to the Scrapyard, happy to have the quick payday. It wasn't quite Weazel News money, but it was easy, fast, and dirty money. What was good money, however, was drug production. Naomi found herself still with plenty of time to make drugs and still teach the members how to cook them as well. She rode her Pink Manchez Scout out to the weed farms, grabbed what she could, and occasionally worked with other groups to hold the farms down. She bought guns for the group and sold them only internally, and kept the good times rolling. However, something had to go wrong, and Naomi found herself driving a desperate rescue mission to get Melody out of the back of a cruiser. The chase ended at the parking lot of DOC, and with her full of bullets from SD's backup. She found Detective Quinn at the scene and asked her if this is truly what she wanted at the end. Yet another girl left out on the streets, fired from her job at Weazel due to her friends. She simply laughed back at me, saying "I'd rather have you arrested than an anarchist writing news." That sentence sat with her in prison, hatching plans for the future.
  12. As of now, when you get something out of impound you have no visibility into the impound fee, only an /ame that says First_Last pays impound fee. As an LEO, you can see exactly how much they pay when a person gets their vehicle out through a message in the chat box. It would also be beneficial as an LEO to be able to see if something is securely impounded or not, and what the fee will be when using /viewImpound. While a civilian shouldn't be able to see who impounded the vehicle, it makes good sense the person would know how much they paid besides doing math on their bank account. I would like to suggest a simple chat message that says something along the lines of "You paid $XXXX to Law Enforcement to release your vehicle to impound." or "You paid no fees due to your vehicle being securely impounded." The Underground

Naomi was smoking on her roof, when Melody called The Underground together to go hit a bank. Everyone was gathered together in a parking lot, as the Dragons drove by, stared at us for about 10 minutes before getting bored. The crew was ready to roll up to the LifeInvader Bank, and the alarms go off minutes before, so everyone scattered and regrouped by Pink Cage. Naomi took her favorite spot on the roofs nearby, and positioned the other scout on the East side of the bank. Naomi gave the signal, and then everyone rolled in, held the tellers up, gave them a nap, breached the vault and grabbed all the cash the government owed its society. Everything went to plan, minus Charlie Bankshot getting caught. Naomi was on the way to a different roof to continue smoking on another roof, and then she heard a shout behind her: "ON YOUR KNEES". There was a cadet from the Los Santos Police Department that found her running off towards a different roof. She took a deep breath and got on her knees as she was being patted down. Naomi was taken to the Mission Row Holding cell by the backup, Alexander Olsson, in which they exchanged pleasantries and Naomi was told that "She was the politest bank robber he's ever arrested", to which the reply was, "I'm just polite, not really that last part." She continued exchanging pleasantries about Christmas and the trees at Mission Row, but when Olsson claimed that she could hypothetically be a scout, she just repeated her right to stay silent and "that anything you say can and will be used against you." After about 10 minutes of talking she was informed the Cadet placed the bank robbery charge, and she just laughed and asked for a supervisor. Naomi was then driven to the Department of Corrections where she met Detective Jonathon Willowick, and calmly explained that she was charged incorrectly. The same cadet that patted her down originally was there, and asked if anything was found on her, which resulted in her laughing and said you're the one that patted me down buddy, you better still have my gloves and radio. The detective told me to wait at the entrance to the prison's intake and there was a long and awkward conversation and she was told that her charge was taken off by Elena Blake, and the Cadet would be talked to about aggressively placing charges without evidence. In what was a first, the Olsson drove her away from the prison, down to city parking with a massive grin on her face. Naomi met up with Ace Parker at City parking, and the two of them noticed a very fatal flaw that the Los Santos Police Department made: The bank vault was still open. The two of them nodded and Ace ran in to grab the cash, with Naomi parked just across the street ready to zoom the minute she even thought she heard anyone. However it was their lucky day, with another $90,000 in packed cash liberated from the bank, and the two of them laughing and making out like bandits. On the third of November, Naomi fought the law and Naomi won.

    The Underground

The Rook Problem Naomi was doing alright, The Underground was working security for the Salvation Wedding on the 25th, and Naomi was making sure everything was going to plan. Unfortunately, someone stole a paragon and according to the radio, someone was shot and killed at the scrapyard chasing it down. Melody started to panic about seeing a lot of rooks there, after she had stormed off. and screamed about war to anyone who would listen. Unfortunately for Naomi, she wasn't entirely in the loop about the whole problem then all of a sudden Harley came out and shouted at Naomi "We need to talk." Naomi jumped into the car of the Rooks, and into her doom. She was taken to an underground parking garage, and quickly stripped & shaved with multiple shotguns to her face, body and everywhere. Harley took the radio out of her ear and made demands over the radio, asking Melody if she "Liked how War tasted like". A lot of arguments over the radio later, and the knife was put on her right index finger and was told to beg. She did, but it didn't matter and her right index finger was sliced off without a care in the world, and Naomi left to bleed on the ground. Eventually there was radio chatter on the rook's end that PD was near, so Naomi was easily knocked out, scooped up into Harley's trunk, and then dumped at nearby construction. Unconscious, Harley told her to "rise above," before leaving and driving off into the night. Naomi was not alright. Naomi eventually woke up and crawled her way to a store, but Melody and Evelyn picked her up, threw whatever clothes they could find on her and then got her to pillbox. The doctors were able to cauterize the stump of her finger, but they weren't able to save it without the other end. Naomi explained what happened to the detective what happened, and then shortly there after had to explain to Weazel Management, who were all staring at shock at her hand. She was placed on medical leave with Weazel and all the time in the world to think. She talked to Melody and Charlie Bankshot on the roof of her house, still not okay but thinking about her future and how The Underground takes care of their Rook problem.

    The Underground

Underground Updates After a somewhat quiet week and a bit of meeting the gangs around town, The Underground was ready to get into action, suited fully up into the pink and ready to make friends and make money. Over the past two days, The Underground decided to hit stores back to back to back to back to back to back to back. The stolen money would serve two purposes, make the broke boys and girls some cash and make friends with other gangs by laundering it through them. Tensions had been high with the Rooks, but a ceasefire was agreed to as The Underground went out to make favors for later. Making Friends The other Conductor, Melody Rogers had grown very close to Chad Rapkov, who introduced the gang to Los Santos Drift, and some races for fun. Afterwards, her Naomi and Chad talked business with the Drift, and agreed to work with us to get drops from the Cartels if we laundered money through them. A fully successful day of robbing stores later, a crate full of packed cash was delivered to LSD HQ, and a Sultan RS 20 minutes later to make friends. On a quieter note, The Underground were in talks with Salvation. While the groups had plenty of differences in how they ran things, there was more than enough common ground and friends made through social events to find room for business. Naomi and Melody were already paying off one member of Salvation for their apartment drug lab, and the second's day crate of packed cash was delivered to one of the heads of Salvation to show we were serious about working together. Naomi's Legal Front Naomi in the meantime had successfully convinced the government to give her a "Residential Renting" license to further her legal front. Her plans were to get cheap 1Gs to use a disposable drug labs to help out The Underground, and help the members have a place to cook drugs safely throughout the city. She had gotten promoted out of Jr. Writer to Writer in Weazel, and looked to institute her plans for spreading propaganda, signing up to cover the Batheshebas and recent PD news, with full intent to say nothing but good about the former and slander the latter. Overall the groups moral was sky high with the cash rolling in and nobody busted, they were feeling like hood kings and queens.

    The Underground

FIRST UNDERGROUND MEETING Naomi and Melody gathered the few members they had talked to, and gotten "hell yes" responses from if they wanted to join the gang. The underground went back to the place it called home, and gathered round the tunnels and cozied up on the couches. The Underground wanted to build a group lab so we could all make money together, but first the money had to be raised to buy the places. The leaders tasks the group with a game, bring them weed and we'll raffle off a .50 to anyone who does for the hard work. It was a promising start for the group, as it just started as a pile of texts sent out, and a pair of new friends gathered off the pier.

  19. -1 for me honestly unless there's some serious rules put around it. I'm neutral on this as it would definitely need to be under some sort of required RP interactions such as DM rights. If people are just driving around shouting hands without any RP it's not going to be a good experience. As an established player if my LEO character is robbed, it's not a huge deal. I can go buy a new legal gun, report a crime and move on. If my crim character is robbed I have enough minimal resources to plan a hit back. However let's say I'm a new player and I get robbed of my only warrener and injured and get to pillbox. They're going to feel like they can't play during nighttime hours as they don't have the appropriate social networks, legal or otherwise to do anything about it and would probably just end up quitting. My criminal character has stopped going to drug labs because the only RP I ever got there was people shouting hands, caring more about the weed in my pocket than any actual RP.

Date and time (provide timezone): 15/SEP/2021 5:00 AM Character name: Naomi Mizuno (and Melody Rogers) Issue/bug you are reporting: Players turn invisible to others when going up a ramp in the middle of the sewers Expected behavior: Players stay visible to each other at all times Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: So we drove to the middle of the sewers on bikes, and got off, at the bottom of these stairs. When we go up them to the "base" for RP purposes up there, we turn invisible to each other, and if we drive the bikes up they also disappear. Its right about the last step that makes each other "poof" and falling down and taking fall damage "fixes" the bug.

  23. As of right now there's no real reason to have human meat on you, besides cooking it or for (gross) RP purposes. I would like to suggest and "Inconspicuous Doctor" that will buy both Un-gutted Human Bodies Human Meat The idea being that the doctor would buy the un-gutted bodies for organs ICly, and will take human meat as backups. The whole body should be worth more than the meat, to reward criminals who would risk take the bodies of any victims, and provide more avenues for post-fight RP besides just run for the hills. This would also incentivize people to-do something with any bodies they happen upon later, as its not uncommon for there to be no coroners on duty in the city and these bodies sit there until despawned. Would love to hear feedback and thoughts, thanks for reading!

    The Sirens

During the downtime between scouting the city for chops and the occasional store robbery, Naomi had been busy talking up every girl she could meet on the pier. One afternoon Naomi ran into Dhalia on the pier and while she was incredibly interested she wasn't too keen on changing her hair color. Naomi met with the rest of the Sirens, and agreed upon a new set of clothing rules, that purple clothing would be required for activities, and highly recommended on the pier. While the purple hair requirement would be reserved for command. Shortly after, Dhalia had picked up a few pieces of purple before she had to head out for the evening. In the meantime, Naomi had been asking around on the pier for a deal on the RV. She loved her time on the pier, but needed the variety and had both the legal plans of oil and rock, but also the illegal plans for drug production as well, once the Sirens had a bit more in the way of capital.

    The Sirens

Naomi talking to a prospect on the pier The sirens were starting to feel the growing pains of putting in the work themselves, especially after getting robbed for most everything at one of the mountain labs. They decided to go back to their roots of hitting up the pier, hoping to fish up money and recruits. Naomi hauled her car out of Mors and the girls have made a point to talking to everyone they didn't recognize, working on making those connections and hoping to reel in some recruits. The Sirens are still building towards their first apartment, one fish, one chop, one blunt at a time right now.
