  1. Hello, thank you for your suggestion.

We have no interest in creating some form of a rehab program, the DM punishments are severe because we see it as a severe server rule and it's what we as community managers see what's best for our community. It's not hard to not follow rules guys!

Also good to note, while it technically says "permanent ban", it's more of an "indefinite ban" in most cases. It's permanent until appealed, where it then can either turn into a temporary ban, indefinite or just remain permanent.

Unfortunately, our punishments are not a topic for discussion - Staff discusses internally if we feel that we need to change our punishment severity.

I would personally not support this.

I do not support the idea, no heavy RP servers I've played on across SA-MP and GTA 5 has supported this. On Eclipse, we're trying to sway away from action RP and have people focus on more social and passive RP. Given the response that we've had to new features like the mining job and farming job, where people that do these jobs get constantly robbed, I don't see how this would be any different.

Cops are not meant to be targets for robberies, and this would cause exactly that. Let's push for more passive/social RP and criminal features other than this 🙂

  3. 🙁It's very sad when someone you've known for years pass away.  We did not see eye to eye all the time on Eclipse, but from SA-MP, we shared many great memories together.

In memory of Daniel, I've gone ahead and pinned this. Hopefully, his videos and screenshots will live on as a memory.

  4. I like the idea of expungement of non-violent crimes to a certain extent, but as Steel mentioned, IRL it's not an easy process - you just don't walk into your city hall building and change your name. There's a court process, you'll most likely have to go through some parole & rehabilitation process and complete that properly, then court hearings where a judge determines if you qualify for it or not. But to do all this, we need a court system - which we don't have right now.

  5. There are no bugs that cause your charges to remain active after you get sentenced by a player. After you get sent into prison by a player, your charges go from ACTIVE to INACTIVE in the server database and the police MDC.

Only if you get admin jailed will they remain active, but you weren't admin jailed. Please do not lie to administrative staff to get out of prison sentences, it is a serious offense that we do not appreciate.

In your particular case, you were charged by IMPERSONATION by a Sheriff's Deputy, who also noticed that you had OUTSTANDING (ACTIVE) added by a member of the LSPD; which resulted in your prison sentence of 500 (something) minutes. This was not a bug, neither should you have deceived Chuck into releasing you earlier.

I was denied, can I apply again? Yes, next Recruitment Drive unless otherwise specified in your denial message.

I failed one of the stages, can I apply again? Yes, next Recruitment Drive unless otherwise specified in your denial message.

I have recently been removed from a faction because of poor OOC conduct or other OOC reasons, can I still apply? You will most likely not be allowed to partake in the Sheriff's Recruitment Process unless you have shown that you are in good standing with the community and other factions for a consistent time period.

I am from a different region than the one that you are looking for members in, can I still apply? No.

Can I appeal my denial or any of the stages that I failed? No. All denials and recruitment stages are supervised by Senior Members of the faction.

Is it easy to progress or gain higher ranks in this faction? No. Like the LSPD, the LSSD believes in good and proper character development as well as a somewhat realistic portrayal of a Law Enforcement agency. Higher up positions like supervisor and above are also limited and have added responsibilities both IC and OOC, and we need to make sure that no one gains the power to fast and that they earn their position in the faction by experience and knowledge. In turn, this results in better obedience in terms of upholding our regulations & standards, which results in better relations with the Eclipse Community. Members that perform good and don't get disciplined either IC or OOC can expect a promotion every 1-2 months, however, certain members may hit a wall when they reach the final rank of whichever group they're apart of (e.g. Field Staff, Supervisory Staff and Command Staff). The higher you climb in the faction, the more responsibilities you will have whether that's out of the game or in the game. We do not "force" paperwork (forum work) on anyone, people choose if they want to progress or not themselves when we offer it to them.

Will I be able to get a heavy weapon quickly in the faction? No. Deputy Sheriff II is the lowest rank that can apply for a certification which will allow you to use a shotgun on duty under strict regulations. Progression takes time in the Sheriff's Department and that includes access to new equipment and vehicles.

The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department is a law enforcement faction that focuses on providing enjoyable and realistic police role play. This faction thread is entirely Out of Character and is only meant to give you an insight into how we have built this faction. We ask that no information provided in here is metagamed and that you instead visit the Government Website to browse through In Character Information. The faction is primarily based upon and draws inspiration from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff Samuel Osborn was appointed as the Sheriff of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department on August 20th, 2019, following the sudden death of Sheriff John Norman

Sheriff  Osborn is a long-term veteran in law enforcement, he previously served as the Chief of Police for the Los Santos Police Department. His career in the Los Santos Police Department started on April 27th, 2017. He progressed through the ranks, working assignments with increasing responsibility throughout the city. He has experience in patrol, Special Operations, Professional Standards, Supervisor Training, and Police Training.

Sheriff Osborn was one of the four veterans of the Police Department that reformed the department in 2017 and expanded on our Bureaus and Divisions. He served two different terms as the Chief of Police for the LSPD, his original term started on September 19th, 2017 followed by his resignation on October 20th, 2017. He returned to the Los Santos Police Department on April 10th, 2018 and during his second term with the Department, he assisted with the implementation of new processes and the reform of old processes to effectively use technology and department resources. Sheriff Osborn is recognized as a strong, yet humble leader. In the Los Santos Police Department, he helped tackle some of the greatest challenges of our day.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sheriff Osborn grew up in Downtown Tulsa. He was raised into a family of law enforcement, his father, John Osborn, was a Commander in Tulsa Police Department, overseeing their Special Operations Bureau, and his older brothers, Jack and Benjamin, were both serving as patrol officers in the Tulsa Police Department. He attended Oklahoma University in 1984 and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice, 1985. After graduating from university, Sheriff Osborn attended the Tulsa Police Academy Class 1986-54 and eventually graduated to become a Police Officer. Sheriff Osborn was an employee of the Tulsa Police Department until 2016, he transferred to the Los Santos Police Department and was appointed Captain, responsible over the Special Operations Bureau. Sheriff Osborn is also a graduate of the FBI-LEEDA Supervisor Leadership Institute, and the FBI National Academy - Session 215.

  9. This is a really old suggestion that I was not aware that I had created in 2018.

is more recent and more detailed Feel free to discuss on there!

I am also unsure why some people feel that my suggestion would be a PD regulated system, it wouldn't - PD does not and will not be able to force anyone to kill their own character, this all comes down to the player's own choice!

  10. ((

I second what Borrelli said about the private investigative agency, it would work out better for you in the end - In terms of OOC effort and time, I'd hate to see it go to waste. On an OOC level, we won't be implementing "FBI" as a faction, but you can by all means try and RP being a federal agent and see where it leads. ))

  11. My thoughts are that the LSPD recruitment process is primarily In Character. If you want to question any IC aspects of the recruitment process, you can reach out to recruitment officers, as well as for any OOC inquiries.

https://gov.eclipse-rp.net/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=332 - Director of our Office and Support Services
https://gov.eclipse-rp.net/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1700 - Commanding Officer of our Recruitment & Employment Division

The LSPD recruitment process is run entirely by the faction and not the community. There is no rules or guidelines dictating how our recruitment process should work on an Out of Character level.

I will be closing this thread as you've been given advice on how to proceed.

    COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT

    Server Rules Update
    June 11th, 2019

    Dear Eclipse Community,

Following a recent staff meeting, we've reviewed our server rules and decided to make some minor adjustments which could affect you. Please read through this short update as the changes are effective after midnight UTC, June 12th.

    11. Powergaming

We've seen an increased amount of players trying to perform alternative role-play such as hiding their keys or license and then using this role-play to influence future role-play, e.g. when you're stopped by the police and claim that you have no license on you.  Because of this, we'll be adding the following line to the powergaming rule:

    • If you perform an action which will influence potential RP in the future, you must have OOC evidence of performing said RP. E.g. hiding your keys/license and not having them on you. Your OOC evidence should consist of a recording or screenshot and it needs to be timestamped (/time). This RP would only be valid for 48 hours or until your character dies and NLR is triggered. The time limit does not apply to rule 7.

And just to clarify, this is not a "new" rule, this is the ideology that the staff team has followed since the beginning. We wanted to add this for easier understanding among our players.

    13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

There is no major change to this rule, but rather clarifications. Many players have thought our examples to be a list of final examples, but to make it clear, we'll be adding a clarification that the list is not final for both examples of when your life is considered to be in danger and not in danger.

Under the examples of where your life is not considered to in danger, we'll be rewording the following line "
    • When you are in a vehicle which engine is not stalled." to "• When you are in a car which engine is not stalled." This means that on a motorcycle, whether the engine is on or off, your life is considered to be in danger if someone walks up to you at close range with a gun, as the motorcycle provides zero protection.

    14. Deathmatch (DM)

Our VOIP has become more stable In-Game in comparison to when these rules were written. At times where VOIP isn't working, we've got a command to reset your VOIP (/voicereset 1>3). We aim for smooth role-play in the community, and that means you shouldn't have to relay demands or communicate with other players using text unless you absolutely have too (e.g. no microphone, other reasons).

Because of an improved VOIP system, we've changed "
You must give demands via text if used as a reason to attack as VOIP isn’t always heard." to "If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using /voicereset or use text to deliver your demand(s)." What this means is that it falls on the responsibility of whoever is having demands are given to them to inform the other party that their VOIP isn't working through OOC chats (/pm, /b or /ooc), and if informed, the player giving demands must either fix their VOIP or use text as the rule dictates.

    MISCELLANEOUS CLARIFICATIONS

    Carrying bodies & Powergaming

We'd like to inform the community that it is considered power gaming to be randomly or without RP, picking up the body of an injured player. You have to role-play properly with injured players using /me and /do. This is not a new rule, it's only something that seems to have slipped through the cracks for the majority of our players.

Driving vehicles and leaving them on roofs of No Crime Zones

We've noticed this being a trend and we do not condone it. We find it very unrealistic to drive e.g. a motorcycle up on the roof of a bank and leaving it there. Should we catch players in the act or find their vehicles on No Crime Zone roofs, we'll be impounding the vehicle and potentially punishing the player for Non-Roleplay. This is not the sort of behavior that we want in the community.

Leaving Cars in No Crime Zones for the sole purpose of using them as a stash vehicle

The Staff Team brought up a concerning topic of players utilizing No Crime Zones as a safe haven for their stash vehicles, and this is not the idea behind No Crime Zones. If you leave your car at a No Crime Zone where it can't be interacted with by other players for the sole purpose of storing illegal contraband in it, we will be impounding your vehicle, potentially taking items from it and punishing the player for No Crime Zone Violation.

Scratching Radios & Obtaining Frequencies from others

We no longer support the idea of scratching/damaging radios through role-play to influence potential role-play situations. There are too many loopholes that can be exploited and we quite frankly do not want to support it. If you know that you're stepping into a situation that might put you at a disadvantage, dispose of your radio, hide or somewhere, or change its frequency before someone gets ahold of it. Players can still utilize /me and /do to check the frequency of your radio, and as per power-gaming rules, you are expected to answer truthfully.

We will be introducing script support in the future to be able to "damage" your radio and see frequencies of radios in your possession. There is no ETA on this but it has been discussed and planned for implementation.

General Toxicity & Unhealthy Behavior on Discord

We would also like to emphasize on the fact that the Eclipse Discord server and all discords associated with Eclipse Roleplay is considered to be a part of our platform. In these servers our general community rules apply, that means that you can be banned from our community (not only discord ) should you show that you're not contributing positively to the community. Some examples of these are; Harassment of factions or members through text or images; Using Extreme Offensive language to another community member or staff. This is nothing new, but we've come to an understanding that some community members seem to think our discord server is a free for all playground where there are no consequences for their words or actions.

On an end note, We'd like to remind all of our players to play fair. Enjoy the game and the role-play it brings, don't log in with the attitude of winning all situations you come across, let role-play dictate the outcome of your situations and accept a loss once in a while.  We do not condone the play to win attitude.

    Yours,

    Eclipse Staff

This month, we would like to recognize the astonishing work effort, dedication and passion that Police Sergeant II John Wallace has shown. Since returning to the Los Santos Police Department after having resigned as a Police Captain and exemplary Command Member, Sergeant Wallace has shown nothing but the best effort towards his duties as a supervisor of the Los Santos Police Department. Sergeant Wallace is a humble but fair supervisor, and his ability to exercise the best judgment in the field has made him an exemplary supervisor, one which others should look up too.

Sergeant Wallace's dedication to his responsibilities off-field is indisputable, most importantly, we would like to recognize Sergeant Wallace's joint-effort in the Field Training Program, a program which he was recently appointed the Commanding Officer off after that Lieutenant Daniels Shelby stepped down from it. Sergeant Wallace and over and over again proven precise and efficient handling of paperwork and has truly shown the ability to mentor and guide Police Cadets and Field Training Officers alike.

Sergeant John Wallace first applied and passed the Sergeant Training Program with flying colors in July 2017, and he climbed through the hierarchy and eventually ended his career with the Los Santos Police Department as a Police Captain. On January 10th, 2019, Sergeant Wallace reinstated into the Los Santos Police Department as a Senior Lead Officer, and he yet again passed the Sergeant Training Program with flying colors and has since shown nothing but impeccable efforts. Sergeant John Wallace currently serves as a Field Supervisor of Rockford Precinct and the Commanding Officer of our Field Training Program, two positions which he excels in.

Sergeant John Wallace will be rewarded with a bonus payment of $1,000.00 (( $100,000.00 )).

This month, we would like to recognize the astonishing work effort, dedication, and passion that Police Officer Kristofer Avens has shown. In the month of May, Officer Avens has logged approximately 210 shift hours, approximately 65 of them being Air Support Hours, and in addition to his extreme dedication in the field, we would also like to recognize Officer Aven's dedication to immaculate paperwork as well, which goes to show that Officer Avens is an exemplary officer and through his effort, he sets a precedent. We would also like to recognize the extreme dedication that Officer Avens shows in our Air Support Division. Through his effort in the helicopter, he has saved countless lives and prevented countless violent crimes, and his passion for flying and providing aerial cover for his colleagues on the ground hasn't gone unnoticed. Officer Kristofer Avens currently serves as a Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer of Mission Row, a precinct where he sets a good precedent of proper police work.

We would also like to wish Officer Kristofer Avens best of luck as he's currently trying to qualify for the Sergeant Training Program, if accepted, he will be training towards potentially becoming a supervisor of the Los Santos Police Department.

Officer Kristofer Avens graduated from the Los Santos Police Academy on February 18th, 2019 and he graduated from our Field Training Program on Mar 4th, 2019. Through hard work and dedication, he has risen through the hierarchy.

Yet another month has swung past us, and the Los Santos Police Department face new challenges. Our tourism has decreased to a manageable level, but we face the issue of organized crime in Los Santos. Over the past few weeks, our Investigations Bureau has concluded that there's an illegal gang war in Los Santos, one which we cannot recover from unless you put an end to it. The Los Santos Police Department is working closely with the Commissioner's Office and the Los Santos Government to come up with a solution to this problem, recently, the Commissioner's have been talking about enforcing the RICO act (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) which would give the Los Santos Police Department the upper-hand and possibly prevent further violence. I am asking that citizens remain vigilant and call 911 should you spot an unusual gathering, or hear something unusual, and I am asking my officers to remain safe in the field, prioritize safety above all else.

To combat the drastic increase of gun-related crimes, the Los Santos Police Department have been working together with the Los Santos Government as gun laws have been tightened. We saw the introduction of the Firearms and Licensing Division mid-April, and I must say, we are very pleased with the effect that this has caused and the significant decrease in gun-related crimes it has resulted in. Many concerned citizens have raised questions about whether their second amendment is being violated, which it isn't. The right to bear arms is a privilege for our law-abiding citizens, federal law already defines unlawful acts (ref. 18 U.S. Code § 922. Unlawful acts). The Los Santos Police Department will continue the battle as we seek to exponentially lower the rate of gun-related crimes even further.

I'd also like to give special recognition to our Recruitment & Employment Division, Basic Training Division, and Field Training Program. This month we saw one of the biggest recruitment drives that the Los Santos Police Department has ever had, bringing in over 40 new Cadets in a single month. This has put a lot of pressure on our Field Training Program and its officers, however, they have handled it surprisingly well. The Field Training Program is important to the development of a good officer, and it's the foundation which the Los Santos Police Department stands on. I am very proud of what we've accomplished, and I can only see a bright future for the Department moving forward.

I would also like to recognize and congratulate Commander Elena Blake, who on April 17th assumed the position of Commander. Commander Blake is a veteran of the Los Santos Police Department and she has led our Investigations Bureau since September 2018. During her tenure, we've seen significant improvements to the Bureau all throughout, and an increased interest in it. I hope that Commander Blake and her personnel continues on the same path and that they are able to put a stop to this recent increase of gang-related crimes.

Moving onto the month of May, we're officially one month away from summer. Remember to keep yourself hydrated, look after one another and be vigilant. The heat can cause issues which results in unexpected events. The Department has no major changes planned for the month of May, we hope that everything will continue as smooth as it has been.

    • Micky Reefer was born July 15th, 1973 in the United Kindom in a place called Dagenham in east London. In 1980 at the age of 7, he moved over to Los Santos with his family where they applied for citizenship to become permanent residents. He attended & graduated from Los Santos High School in 1990, and continued his education at the University of Los Santos where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Administration. Micky is divorced and has 3 children who live in Liberty City Micky currently resides in West Vinewood.

Having begun his career in the Paleto Bay Sheriffs Department, Micky transferred to the Los Santos Police Department on June 7th, 2017. He worked a variety of precincts within the General Operations Bureau as a police officer, which included Rampart Precinct, 77th Precinct, and Vinewood Precinct. His assignments included frank patrol detail, patrol officer, field training officer, and recruitment officer. After a period of time with the General Operations Bureau, he applied for and was accepted into the Investigations Bureau, where he started off as an Investigator and was eventually promoted to Detective after successful completion of the Detective Training Program. Here he worked a variety of different cases from smaller theft crimes all the way up to major gang-related activity within the Detective Support and Vice Division as well as the Gang and Narcotics Division.

On November 12th, 2017, Micky was promoted to Sergeant II where he left the Investigations Bureau and moved back to the General Operations Bureau to focus on working with the Recruitment and Employment Division within the Los Santos Police Department. He also applied and became a part of the Air Support Division as an X-Ray unit, flying the LSPD Maverick Helicopter.

On the 5th December 2017, he was promoted to Lieutenant and became a member of the Command Division in the General Operations Bureau where he also took a temporary role as the Vinewood Precinct Watch Commander. His role was to monitor and evaluate all the officers and patrol sergeants within that precinct.

He was promoted to Captain on February 28th, 2018 and appointed as the Recruitment and Human Resources Commanding Officer, which is part of the Administrative Services Bureau within the Office of Support Services. His role here was to work on all the recruitment process involving new applicants within the department as well as the internal side of the administration which involved officer promotions, demotions, suspensions, discharges and all the paperwork which came along with it.

On the 4th August 2018, he was promoted to the rank of Police Commander and became a member of the department High Command. He is currently the Administrative Services Bureau Coordinator where he oversees everything involving the Recruitment, Employment, and Administration within the Los Santos Police Department. Micky also works closely with the Police Training Bureau to ensure a smooth transition for new applicants to move onto their Police Academy training.

After spending 5 months as a Police Commander and the Administrative Services Bureau Coordinator, due to Deputy Chief Crosby's retirement, Micky was promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief of Police and appointed as Director of the Office of Support Services in Chief Crosby's stead. This meant extra responsibility as now he was not only the head of the Administrative Services Bureau, but he was also given the task of fully overseeing the Police Training Bureau. This consisted of both the Basic Training Division and the Advanced Training Division.

The police department has slowly gone from strength to strength and with such a large influx of new officers the Chief of Police Samuel Osborn needed a right hand man to help him with the overall operations of the department. This included help with big decisions as well as staff management. On March 26th 2019, after the Chief had a discussion with the board of commissioners, Mick was offered the position as the Assistant Chief of Police (Chief of Staff) within the Los Santos Police Department. Having shared many similar views on the direction the department should be heading, both the Chief of Police and the Chief of Staff will work closely side by side to make sure that the LSPD becomes one of the best and most respected departments in the US. The plan is to make sure the LSPD function at the highest possible level, more so than anything seen before in the department's history.

Police Officer II Victor Einhart joined the Los Santos Police Department after serving 9 years in the United States Military serving in the 7th Cavalry Regiment, stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. There, his occupation was that of an Airborne Weapons Infantryman which he was in charge of. There, he holding the rank of Sergeant, specialized with deploying equipment to active battles from airborne support services. Equipment that Officer Einhart was responsible for reinforcing included, Heavy Machine Guns, Grenade Launchers, Wire-guided Missiles, Mortars, and other explosives.
With the extensive training that Officer Einhart was given he was capable of parachuting from C-130 Aircrafts and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.

After finishing his military service, Officer Einhart moved to the City of Los Santos searching for a new career. Beginning his life in Los Santos as a bus driver, Officer Einhart soon noticed how many people were constantly breaking the law. Officer Einhart eventually joined the Los Santos Police Department on the 17th of February in order to assist the fight against crime and make sure all citizens of Los Santos are safe. Shortly after joining the department, Officer Einhart progressed to the rank of Police Officer I, soon after reaching the rank of a Police Officer II. Currently, he's a proud member of both the Field Training Program Division and Special Weapons and Tactics Division.

Officer Einhart is a great example of an Officer, he's an active and friendly member of the department, always assisting when needed. He is a walking handbook and a very skilled operative within the Special Weapons and Tactics Division. We wish him the best of luck with his future endeavors and wish him good luck in the Sergeant Training Program which he wishes to join, or the Detective Training Program if he wishes to take that path instead.

      Statistics
During the month of March, there has been 119 total deployments across 17 people. 16 of them were David Patrols, 21 Passive Deployments, and 82 Active Deployments. This means 69% of all S.W.A.T. Deployments in March were extreme situations. This is our second month tracking a month at a time. Compared to last month, the number of Active Deployments and Passive Deployments rose, while the number of David patrols dropped by over 50%.

      Final Thoughts and Moving Forward

I believe we have been doing well as a division in the last month and we are working on improving team work within the division and how efficient we are, again moving onto required training's of which some have taken place but will have more. We are also moving on with trying to remove all heavy weaponry from the streets. Due to the attack on the supervisor meeting we will be improving response times and how we tackle people in the streets and neighbourhoods. So expect training around this soon.

Thank you all for your hard work and dedicating your lives to protect the civilians of Los Santos.

      "TO PROTECT AND SERVE"

      Hello Pilots!
Welcome to the Eighth update of the Air Support Division where we would like to introduce you all to the updates within the division for the month of April. We are looking to get these made for each month to let you all know what is happening within the division, and any upcoming changes to the division. We hope this will help to include you all more, and inform you of changes prior to them happening, so you can all come forward with suggestions of things that you all would like to see change within the Air Support Division.

      Roster changes
We have not received any new applications for Junior Pilots in the Month of April.

The following Pilots resigned or been removed from the Air Support Division and we thank them for their service to the division.
      • Freyja Rias
      • Thomas Bennet
      • James Dickson
The following promotions have also happened within the month of April. Congratulations to the following Pilots, and remember to reach out to a Senior Pilot or higher and schedule the Junior Pilot Examination with them if you have reached the requirement of 10 flight hours and feel ready to take on the test.

      Division Information

In the near future we are looking to bring out a Civilian Aviation License program.

We will be looking to revamp the Tactical Pilot Program in the near future to enable members of ASD to better assist the LSPD and the people of Los Santos. In particular, this will be beneficial for Pilots who are interested in helping out with S.W.A.T. Operations. We will keep you updated once more information is available.

I would like to remind all Junior Pilots that you are responsible for obtaining 10 flight hours and conducting your 10 hour flight check within 30 days to progress to Pilot. Junior Pilots not meeting this criteria will be removed and made to reapply when they have the time required to dedicate to the division. Several junior Pilots are eligible to schedule their ten hour flight check but have failed to do so.

On a last note, thank you all for reading this update for the Air Support Division for April 2019. Good job on the flight hours for the month of April, and we hope to see a better increase for May. Welcome to the team, all new members within the division!

      Field Training Program April UpdateHide
      Image
      Dear Field Training Officers,

It has once again been a very busy month for the Field Training Program and Field Training Officers. We have, for the first time ever, consecutively broken the record for the number of FTP sessions being conducted each month, with this month being the most of all time and we at the same time saw the largest introduction of Cadets to the department in a very long time, with over 40 Cadets at one point.

Once again, I am very happy with many of the Field Training Officers performance, with plenty of FTOs putting in astonishing effort and generally the workload has been shared across the board and with that I'd like to welcome our new Field Training Officers.

      Image

The month of April saw us introduce nine new Field Training Officers into the Field Training Program, the largest expansion of the roster in quite some time. I'd like to welcome:
      • Police Officer II Cleetus Sanchez
      • Police Officer II Eleanor Quinn
      • Police Officer II Tom Fredrico
      • Police Officer II Matthieu Rey
      • Police Officer II Victor Einhart
      • Police Officer III Alex Keller
      • Police Officer II Kristofer Avens
      • Police Officer II John Martinez
      • Police Officer II Richard Langston
      Image

For the month of April a total of one-hundred-forty-one unique sessions were completed (this is not including repeats). This is the new record, beating the previous record set last month by fifteen FTPs. This month also saw the promotion of nineteen Cadets to the rank of Police Officer I, again a record for the program and ten more than the previous month. With that I'd like to congratulate the following Officers on passing the Field Training Program and becoming fully fledged Police Officers:
      • Jack Bowers
      • Blake Cross
      • Edward Sharp
      • Audrey Sanchez
      • James Kelly
      • Cleetus Sanchez
      • Kyle Bran
      • Kevin Blackburn

Picking this months Field Training Officer was quite difficult, because of the excellent effort from so many Field Training Officers. However, this months ward will be issued to Police Officer III Chloe Bailey who is now entitled to collect her bonus of $5,000 (($50,000)) from the Commanding Officer of the Field Training Program.

Police Officer III Chloe Bailey has conducted a total of 17 FTPs for the month of April and has demonstrated very good effort in her FTO duties since becoming a Field Training Officer.

Once again congratulations to Police Officer III Chloe Bailey, however there was great effort from many FTOs this month and all of your efforts do not go unnoticed.
