  1. Per your feedback, from now on I will use my taser only twice. If someone continues to resist after that, I will consider this an escalation and will therefore escalate the force continuum and shoot them.

  2. I will continue to advocate for random scripted street races especially if they're narrowed by type. This would encourage people to buy and use cars that aren't "meta" cars and give some diversity to people's choices. I strongly believe that the number of "clappers" and PvP mentality will decrease if people have gameplay options to get stuck in to instead of being bored and trying to start some trouble.

  3. Being terminated from PD over criminal charges sinks that character. I think it's entirely reasonable to let someone create an entirely new character given their old one is functionally bricked over the incident if they still want to play law enforcement.

Going to jail doesn't brick your criminal character the same way. There's always a way to regain things that you lost. You cannot regain what you lose in an incident like this as law enforcement. Comparing the two is very dishonest and I'm disappointed you'd suggest that. It's inhuman.

Issue/bug you are reporting: The new Shift+E cuffing system has unlimited and unrealistic range. It chooses the nearest player to you, and doesn't take into account how far away that person is.

Expected behavior:  It should have the same restriction as the /cuff command, which will fail if the person is too far away.

Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Press Shift+E, the nearest person no matter how far away will be subject to being cuffed.

What kind of armour do you think that would be realistically comparable to? Other than a bombsuit. And would swat operators actually use this kind of armour?

As swat yourself do you feel that there is any need for 200ap anymore? If you lowered it then you could have more of a focus on tactics rather than just running in like juggernauts

I'm interested in why you want police officers to be easier to kill. I'm not talking about anything right now, I'm asking.

Issue/bug you are reporting: Government units while on PD duty are indistinguishable from other PD units for people that are colorblind. Given that they've been given a different color, it seems intended that you're supposed to be able to distinguish them.

Expected behavior: I suggest a different color. It looks exactly the same as PD from a colorblind perspective. I can't tell them apart just by looking.

Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Be colorblind.

    Vehicle license plate number*: N/A

  7. I'd like it if the bus was actually useful in the manner described above. The problem I see is incentivizing people to actually drive it around. Money pays, that's fine, but if it's soul-crushingly boring that's a problem too.

With fishing for example it's not exactly stellar gameplay, but people will congregate at the pier and have player interactions. It adds that interest to the activity. The bus would need that special something as well.

Hey Einhart! Hope you're having a good day 🙂

Have you ever considered that some people don't like to report others? Just because it wasn't "reported" and there isn't documentation of the occurrence, doesn't mean it didn't happen. Reporting someone for using an in-game mechanic doesn't really seem fair, does it? But if you feel that the in-game mechanic is potentially being abused and could use some editing, a suggestion is the perfect place to find yourself on the forum! Some players in our community don't desire for others to receive punishments, or simply can't be bothered with the time and effort that go into a report, so isn't a nice alternative for a report, a forum suggestion based on things you've observed?

I don't think we should be promoting report culture in every situation, sometimes it's just not necessary! 🙂 Just because something wasn't reported doesn't mean it didn't happen. We shouldn't attack people on the principle of "your example holds no value because 'was it reported?'."

I ask this because people make accusations, and in my experience often times they're making it up, exaggerating, or have misunderstood the situation.

If there's a problem, I want to explore the problem and think of a solution. If people refuse to talk about the problem, how can there possibly be a solution? That's the finish line for me, but to get there we need to ask these questions in order to explore the complaints. This isn't "report culture." I can't look into potential problems if I have no knowledge of what's going on.

In this case, there was more going on than just a game mechanic which prompted the response. I actively looked into it thanks to the response to my question. In the interest of avoiding metagaming I can't really get into the precise reason, but there was a reason.

If you want to be condescending, that's a real slap in the face from my perspective. Why should I bother taking people's complaints seriously if that's the response I get?

I have personally seen someone who has not been around for months, login and have their home stalked within an hour of their return whilst their phone was off the whole time, changing the above should add some difficulty and depth to those investigating wanted fugitives.

Who was this? Which officer did this? Was it reported? Why not?

  10. RP is done to determine what places are worth raiding. The simple fact is we don't go door-to-door. We have to figure out somehow which places to go.

Then that information is forwarded to JB. They look it over and decide if that information is worth acting on.

So not only are you insulting the work of field officers, you're insulting the work and judgement of JB. I hope this wasn't done lightly.

What is it you want, exactly?

Tell me the exact steps you think should be taken. Not that it needs to be "fixed" or "reworked" - I want to hear your solution. In detail.
