    Poker (Timer)

+1 Easy to implement. I do see this becoming a thing in the future.
  2. +1 Great idea, and gives criminals more things to do. I do think however, this should only be allowed for official criminal factions as there needs to be an adequate level of RP involved.
  3. I like that this issue has been addressed. I'm not sure if this is the way to solve it, but something has to be done so I'll leave a +1
  4. +1 A great idea, and it would lead to some interesting roleplay scenarios, but I'm not sure if there would be enough people willing to do this as a job. Also, what about when there are no newcomers, do the employees just sit and wait regardless? Because that could seem quite boring, drawing people away from this faction.
  5. Simple suggestion, Not sure if this is a bug or not, but it's been here for a long while. Right now, as it stands, if you purchase a second turbo on a vehicle (which costs $70,000), it makes no impact to the speed/performance of the car. It may cause problems in terms of cars reaching higher speeds which would cause some imbalances for law enforcement, but in that case, the speed for one turbo could be reduced, and the speed for the second turbo would be what it is at the moment. This is obviously an issue for people that have paid $70,000 to receive nothing, whether it's a bug or not, so I'm sure many people would agree with me.
  6. +1 But, as far as I'm aware this was already implemented at the start of RageMP and was removed due to the problems it caused. If it causes problems like it did last time, then no. But if recent changes to Rage have made this a realistic possibility, then it's definitely something we want to see in-game.
  7. +1, But isn't this already implemented as different cars already have different amount of slots and 'weight' that they can carry? I would agree that some changes need to be made as an Elegy Retro has the same space as a V12, yet the V12 clearly has more room. It's a case of balancing the different car classes though, so I don't suppose it's too much of a problem.
  8. +1 Interesting idea, not game breaking, and makes it more realistic.

    Mileage

+1 Definitely something I've been wanting for a while. It's sometimes nice to see just how much you've driven. I don't think it should affect performance, but cars with very high mileage may actually become more expensive since they're literally rarer, which would be interesting to see. (I've actually seen this happen on other servers)
  10. My suggestion is simple. Making a keybind or some sort of mechanic that would place the weapon you have in your hand into your inventory. Currently, the only way to do this is to /dropgun and then pick it up, which is fairly time consuming/annoying.
  11. Hello all, So I've been playing quite a lot recently, and I thought that the inventory system could do some work. In many other games that we play, inventories and character storage is used a lot more and I feel like Eclipse could focus on this for a more pleasurable/dynamic playing experience. (If any of these ideas have already been presented, I'm sorry - it wasn't intended) Possible Ideas: Make it so that when you purchase clothes you can store them in your inventory, house inventory, and even car inventory. You'd be able to exchange clothes/outfits and this is something that people have been asking for a while. I feel like this could be something quite interesting and would used a lot. Players would be able to disguise themselves quickly, so other people wouldn't recognise them which I think would be quite useful if you're a criminal, or just running away from someone. Make it so food that you purchase goes to your inventory, and you could store it in a house and a car. This means that people would be able to stack up on food, so they don't need to run to the shop every time they're low on health, which I feel would be quite realistic. If the developers are planning on taking the Inventory system further, like I'm suggesting, I'd like to see purchasable bags that would be able to store different amounts of items. I suggest implementing a system where different items would take up different amount of slots in the inventory, which would make different sized bags useful. These bags could be implemented as an actual entity/model that would rest on your character. Implementing a hunger/thirst system. Right now, as it stands, food is only used for getting health. I believe that adding a system where your character would get hungry and thirsty would make it a lot more realistic, and more RP opportunities. I'd suggesting adding a health and thirst bar that would slowly go down after a period of time, and once it hits a critical level, the health of the character would slowly go down. I feel like this would make my previous suggestion of adding food in inventories useful, and it would help make the inventory system useful. With this implementation, you can branch off into more ideas such as adding new jobs, such as pizza delivery, ice cream van (that sorta thing). These worker would be able to go to common spots where people like to hang out, and make a steady income, as players will want food and drinks. Overall, I feel like polishing the inventory system, and taking into account the ideas that I have put forward would be a great addition to the server. I understand that our developer team is small and that might be difficult to achieve, but I hope I'm not the only person that would like to see these changes as it would add a lot more depth into the gameplay. Furthermore, adding this inventory system might make the players value their inventory system much more, possibly even reducing the cases of FearRP as people would value their life more if they have more useful items on them, and we currently don't really have any apart from weapons, drugs and ammo. I understand that some of these ideas might be a little far-fetched, but it's just something I thought of when playing recently, as I realised that the inventory system could be more useful. I noticed the implementation of drag & drop in the inventory and I like it! I think it's these little changes that make the server better. Please leave any further suggestions in the comments, I will be possibly updating this topic further.

  13. Date and time (provide timezone): 4/2/18 2:30 GMT Character name: Sam Clifford Issue/bug you are reporting: When equipped from inventory, weapons disappear completely. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: http://plays.tv/video/5ac2318f60f9b696e1/weapon-bug

    Gun Dealers.

RIP - found out a gun dealer system already exits...

    Gun Dealers.

So I've got quite a few years in the GTA RP scene under my belt, and I have seen various things on other servers, that I would like to see implemented into Eclipse since I've found myself getting bored of the few jobs that exist. I will add frequent suggestions to this forum since there's a lot of things I'd like to see. This is my first. Gun Dealers I'm not sure if this is already implemented, but I haven't seen it, so here's my suggestion. I suggest adding gun dealers to Eclipse. How these would work: There are many ways this could be implemented, but I'll give my suggestion: So a current job that we have is a Truck Driver, and they can deliver weapons. As Truck drivers are delivering weapons, criminals would be able to intercept the delivery and steal the weapons from the trailer. More items could be added such as a crowbar, which would allow criminals to break into a gun-carrying trailer. This means that criminals would have to get the trailer to a safe place before they take the weapons. This means that police will have time to respond to these thefts, meaning criminals can't just abuse this to get free weapons easily. Of course, I recommend the payout for truck drivers, delivering weapons, to be much higher since they have a chance at being robbed and losing their load. This would make it high-risk, high-reward for both truckers, and criminals, since they would have to run away from police before they can crack open the trailer. Once criminals open the trailer, they can take weapons for personal, as well as gun-dealing use. The way the selling process would work would be similar to how drug dealing works right now. Criminals would approach players and ask them if they'd like to purchase certain firearms. The prices would be cheaper than gun-stores, meaning people will be more likely to buy from these gun dealers, so this implementation wouldn't be a waste. This brings to me to another suggestion - being able to buy bullets instead of having to purchase a fully-loaded weapon again. This is a huge problem since I don't always want to purchase a fully loaded pistol at 100 bullets, as it is expensive. I think a system should be added where players would be able to buy a certain about of bullets from dealers, as well as gun stores. The lower the amount of bullets, the lower the price. Problems that may occur: I could see this being abused by criminals to get free weapons/bullets as they could just get a friend to be a trucker and deliver free weapons. This could be seen as either as a rule-breaking offence (bannable offence), or a role-play scenario, since in real life criminals do hire delivery drivers to obtain weapons and other goods. However, I believe this is already a thing since I'm pretty sure there are criminals that have ties with the police department to gain an advantage. But that's just role-play right? These things to happen in real life, so I don't see why it shouldn't happen in GTA RP. That's a reason why I think Trucking should be made a governmental faction, meaning it would have a manager. This would make the job a lot more formal, meaning players take it a lot more seriously, lessening the chance of this abuse, if it is a game-breaking problem. Alternatively, a completely separate job could be made for these weapon deliveries. It would be a governmental faction too, for the same reasons. This would mean we could keep Trucking as it is. This would be a criminal/illegal job, meaning police will be on the lookout for gun dealers to punish them. (e.g 1 hour in jail if found to be selling weapons or carrying a suspicious amount of weapons). Also, if a citizen is found carrying an illegal firearm they would be punished also. How this implementation would help the server: - It would make the trucks that you buy at the market more usable since criminals could buy them and steal the trailer from a truck driver to deliver it to a safe place to crack open. - Will add more dynamic gameplay/roleplay. - It would make trucking more interesting - Many people would be satisfied, seeing gun dealers in-game. ^^ - High risk, high reward ^^ - Truck drivers would actually deliver weapons, because it seems like everyone is just doing fuel at the moment making it boring since not all of the server's capabilities are being utilised. (this would add more dynamic gameplay). Of course this is just a suggestion, therefore if what I suggested isn't ideal, I still think we desperately need gun dealers in the server, especially considering we have drug dealers, which is just as common as firearm dealing in real life. I will be adding more non-crime related jobs in the future so the gameplay of the server isn't revolved around criminal life as it currently seems to be (personal opinion).
