  1. But well yeah. I could it deliver all by myself and you would get no money at all. So you would just do other jobs, which you won't certainly like, I bet. Your job is one of the most relaxing ones, so I don't get how you complain all the time. If you want to make more actual money, get a more stressful job. I've earned everything with being a farmer, taxi driver and paramedic. But you just sit in your truck all alone and chill, drive, enjoy the landscapes. I enjoy truck driving myself, but it doesn't even make sense, to have it as a permanent job and more as a side job, since there won't be opportunities aka deliveries all the time. It's just not a consistent, paying job like all others...

200k is the volume we have to load onto our rig, it was stated earlier that 1unit for you is 10volume for us truckers to load onto our rig

That's just a weird industrial figure for one actual piece.

@Com783 I told you, the manifest reads 200k liters. When we fill up the tank for delivery, it says 200k liters. That's 200k liters. It doesn't matter what numbers display on your end to us, because we can't see those and don't know what's going on with your end of things.

This boycott and strike got your attention, but we can always continue the boycott and strike if you're unwilling to negotiate. As Truckers, we would rather return to work with a solution that is amicable for everyone.

I am still in need of clarification on your end.

    • One load of fuel costs you how much exactly?
    • Is the fuel taxed by 35% or is your income taxed by 35%?

My income is taxed by 35 %. I can pay you without tax applied. But tax will apply to you, from the delivery you make.

You want actual proof, that it's 20 000 liters?

I pay $3000 trucking fee for 3000 units (or less, 3000 units is max I buy at a time) of food/beverage and it's not far from the depot. Is that fair for you guys?

And you very likely sell everything at double, I am unable to pay more. No one would visit my store that much, out of the city, in a hidden location, but I love my store and its location, actually. Sweet and nice to the beach and with cheap offers. I really can't pay more than the standard amount of $ 1000, for a max of 2500 units. I import normally at 1000 units (100 pieces of goods).

@Com783 This is exactly the kind of negotiation we need to see from merchants. That being said, what you're offering is still extremely low. 200k litres of fuel is 200k litres of fuel. It says it right there on the manifest. Let's look at what it would cost you for the fuel, not factoring in our shipment first. Then, we'll take a closer look at this to get something fair for everyone. The main issue we have is that we're being paid so little that we can't keep our rigs running, due to mechanical failures. Some of our guys are having trouble feeding themselves and their families.

I have some points that need clarification from your end, if you could help me out?

    • $5/liter to import, for 200k litres: $1,000,000
    • Is the 35% tax applied to your income, or to the fuel?
    • Your store's location is an issue, because it is farther away. Logistically, it costs us more to deliver to you than other stores.

I told you, in my post above, that 10 units is just ONE actual LITER.

    It's NOT, 200 000 Liter. It is 20 000 Liter.

35 % tax is applied, when I withdraw it to my salary.

The store distance could be way worse. Use the freeways/highways correctly and don't drive through the city, so you will get there faster.

Well until something is done, Us truckers will continue to stall deliveries. Do you know how long it takes to fill up 200,000 volume of fuel? Almost 60 minutes, then got to unload at the other end for almost 60 minutes. 2 Hours for $1250 just is not enough. I don't care if you raise your prices or taxes go down. Something needs to be done.

I am talking 2500 liter for $1250. So $10000 in total. If you want 2500 $ for 2500 liter, we might have to double fuel prices. So in my case 14-16 dollar per liter. Is it that, what you want?

But that's impossible, with the current market competition and people wanting cheap fuel.

I can only agree to this. I agree that $1000 is maybe not the right amount but whatever you are asking is WAY too much.

They have just no clue, how and what kind of money we are making in a specific amount of time. The store near bank for example, should at least pay every trucker about 2500 $ or even more with their ridiculous high prices. It's an owned store by criminals. Shouldn't have been allowed in the first place at all. sigh

@Com783 25,000 units of fuel = $25,000 delivery fee. Like I said earlier, we're open to negotiation, but $25k to make 175k is still a great return for the shopkeeper.

Okay. I will give you a figure, how much we have to pay for import and taxes:

10 units is one actual item.

Each liter fuel costs 5 dollar to import. 10 units of fuel, is 1 liter of fuel. 10 units of goods, is 1 piece.

I am selling fuel for an average of 7.5/8 dollar per liter. That is just about 50 000 - 60 000 $ profit in ((about a week)), with no tax and trucker payment applied and 100 000 $ go for fuel import, for 20000 liter of fuel.

I pay 8000 $ for truckers for 20000 liter fuel. Which means for me, my profit is just 42 000 $ - 52 000 $ for about ((one week)).

Now here comes the tax: 35 %. My profit then becomes the following 27 300 $ - 33 800 $ for about ((one week)).

Now I have to pay for weazel news blips pretty much, to get some customers to my fuel station or my store, otherwise, it will take 1.5x - 2.5x longer to get these figures.

So I have to pay Weazel News Employees about 7 000 - 21 000 $ for a ((week)) GPS blip.

My store takes two times longer to generate money and needs a permanent GPS blip, for being so hidden.

There are import prices for all the goods for the store. I sell goods for about +25 % till +50 % from their import price. Most stores sell for +100 % or even more.

Just an hint: 20 bottles of water pay one delivery for my store, currently that is.

I might increase the payment for each fuel delivery to about 1250 $ next time, but that's about it.

I'm not aware of your current prices? Give us a rough price list and we will say.

I am the owner of ShoreParadise and Paradise68. I am running probably the cheapest store in the state. You would have to check it out by yourself.

You stunt jumped heavily. Do I have to say more? Or do you think, jumping over a 20 meter cliff is realistic with your motorcycle? There is a rule for that as well.

  11. We shouldn't encourage criminal roleplay further, it has been bad enough already. Some things would need a fix, as you mentioned, but overall I think, we should strive for a more healthier community overall, with more civilian roleplay opportunities and better rules regarding day light robberies, more satisfying and realistic robberies, for example.

  12. Well, criminals could try reform themselves in a fake way or a real way in prison. Talking to prisoners/guards/therapists and so on. Getting their stories out to each other. Poker is probably the best place for calm talking. Be creative yourself, not just the most extreme stuff you can do.
