I was going to post the same bug report before the Christmas holidays but did not have the time. I have since had to reinstall my windows and lost my POV. What I wanted to say to this post is that the issue still persists and the same issue happened me when assigned one for the 3 ATMs at the Mall on the top level. I did all 3 ATMs in that spot but none of them were one of the 'assigned' ones. I am sure there are other locations where this may happen, if I find more I will update my post.

I’m in a -1/+1 on this. I’ve used it in situations where I am already suspicious of a player either cheating or ban evading. There’s been way too many encounters recently where once I heard someone on frequency being pushed/died to someone, check their XP we can see they are 10-15k XP, so we decide to rather report it than further continue any sort of “RP” with that person, and in mostly all of the instances we were right to do so. It makes it clear as day what they’re on. On the other hand I also see what you are saying that people may use it for MGing, though I doubt anyone keeps a spreadsheet of people’s XPs to know who they are.

Marksy, you have hit the nail on the spot on every single point you've made. Things a lot of the community has been saying for ages now but have been getting ignored or fucked over for it. Thanks for speaking up for us, and honestly being the best faction guide we could have had. Big +1, would be so cool to have to actually take car of your character's health and getting more opportunities for Civ RP for people, but also for anyone else who wants to do those type of jobs too.

+1 Completely agree with you. It should be easier to know either you have DM rights on someone, rather than contemplating it, after you shout demands, and wait until you end up being shot at. Too many times we are in a situation where we hesitate to shoot because of the fear of possibly getting DM punishments, which cost factions the whole hard work they do in a whole month.

Honestly, Bala, you massively cooked with this one, big +1 from me. I am sure this would get crims more excited to do other things than to roll labs 24/7, give demands, kill/get killed rinse and repeat.

+1 agreed that if a balance/nerf comes into play it should be on both sides. While yes it’s realistic crims should be able to whipe the whole of PD, it is a game at the end of the day, and if a balance is met where crims don’t lose 99% of the time and where they have just a bit of a change to get away, rather than kill the force I think that’s good enough. Not many people in the force get access to snipers and the regulations are pretty strict around it, knowing this as my alt is in METRO and I don’t have yet access to it. As for AIR-1 I know there has been an influx of people being in it more often due to people in PD training to become pilots so they’d have it out patroling with it and response would be quick, but that should be done now and it would take someone about 4-5 minutes to deploy one, so it gives us a chance to get away. I agree with the AP, that a balance should be met here. I think introduction some sort of dark web cybersecurity/hacking way of crims making money would also be pretty nice. Was also thinking (not sure how traces work so please do correct me here) but having a cooldown on a certain person that was attempted to be traced (30 minutes or so) would also be a pretty good idea. I know PD has worked on some of the suggestions and have been strict on people stacking charges/ being a bit more understanding of crimes. On my PD alt I have sometimes made people /dice for their speeding charges, or made them do a dance or sing a song, I’m all here for everyone to have a nice fun experience, I don’t RP a hardcore cop.

+1 YES! This is something that should be implemented for sure.

+1 from me, and I think this will benefit other factions that have a similar lore or want to have their own little twist with this idea. Being able to show your business card, rather than your licenses makes is more professional and immersive, RP wise.

BIG +1. House robberies are the only time scripted events in the city. It wouldn't be an issue if once the restart is completed we can resume the house robbery, but you get trapped inside, have to wait for an admin to TP you and the whole house cannot be robbed anymore. Having to then go through the refund process and having missed the opportunity to make more money from the house, and then having to wait another 3 hours to do a house robbery is just not the best thing.

I think the UI for house robberies should not be available for everyone else to see. It’s incredibly unrealistic and I think breeds toxic RP where certain players just go around every house (as they learnt by now which ones are open for robberies in the rotation) and check the UI to see if it’s being robbed and then wait in bushes to rob you. It’s become extremely difficult to do these house robberies and is honestly ruining the experience for a lot of people. In real like you won’t have people just waiting around to corner to rob the ones who are already robbing. Also not to mention the fact there wouldn’t be any sign of forced entry into the house as you pick lock it, you don’t use a wrench to prop it open. If someone sees you going into the house, with crates or sees you pick locking it then fair enough, rob them if that’s how you want to play, but if you haven’t seen anyone going in or out of the house and you are waiting for them only because you checked the UI on the door then I don’t see why you would have IC information to know there is a robbery happening. Thank you, and I hope you will consider looking into this and implementing changes in regards to house robberies.
