1) Similar to the new bus/trucker job update, do more achievements/credit earning for the other civ jobs and actually rotate the pay to make them desirable for a short time period. Maybe focus two at a time and make new rotating achievements that are time based to earn (i.e. earth month can be garbage job and earn that badge if you work certain garbage hours that month). Adding new achievements has made an increase of activity in both trucker and bus job. People who would normally never clock off their faction job have been doing these jobs. We have a ton of jobs but they are unworked because the pay is undesirable/there are no incentives. Taco Seller Mail Person Trucker Money Transporter Coroner Garbage Worker Bus Driver Road Worker Oil Mining Farmer Toll Booth Lumberjack Mining Fishing (increase fish prices to bring fishing back at the pier!!!) Hunting 2) Make Burgershot an official faction. It's time. Let @Astrx be the CEO. He wants this implemented really badly. #MarkSnowforCEO 3) Adding some kind of hacking job, where you have to buy a laptop etc at stores. Use items to hack and get codes for things (maybe instead of drilling a safe you can get a code for bank/vault key robberies or house robberies)/disable cameras/give drop locations. 4) Property Auctions - up north there is not a single door/property that is available for players to buy to make into things. I'd be curious to know how many players have untouched properties that haven't been on the server in years. If the player owns it and doesn't wake up for 3 months (and there is not active leases etc to prevent it) doing property auctions so that new fresh ideas can be used to make properties for ACTIVE player RP.

So just confirming once and for all, it is NOT @Harveyyy.

+1 to this. I feel like if there were a few select central locations like a hub where they could be posted and a standard size would be ideal. I think exceptions made for posters used during events, but regular posters seem to cause a ton of performance issues. Would be cool to have a central few places like Parking or Bank that have a poster board with what is happening in the city. Or just keep them to a standard size.

so then can we all agree that the biggest Taylor Swift fan is NOT @Harveyyy?

Does anyone have a Taylor Swift themed tattoo?

Who is the biggest Taylor Swift Fan in the ECRP community?

Respectfully, this response of "we have rules" feels disappointing. The rule is not protecting players and now the rule change is being used as a weapon against players reporting. The fact that so many females are coming forward with evidence and the response should be an indication that this current system and the way the rule is still written is very clearly not working. We aren't arguing over being called a bitch or a cunt or a whore (for those players who feel offended by those comments I do see and hear you, it's not okay but for the sake of this post it is not my main point), what I am arguing is sexual assault/sexual harassment to a point where someone is asking for consent in OOC to sexually degrade another human being on the internet for their own enjoyment, or in a lot of cases, not ask at all. These are cases where players have been asked to stop, and they are still doing it and are taunting victims. People are leaving the community over this kind of behaviour. Players do not feel safe to log in on characters. Forum reporting does not feel safe. Post rule change this is still happening. Players are just not coming forward anymore because they do not feel there is a point to do so in light of the recent events. The rule seems to still be open to interpretation allowing for players to get away with this kind of harassment. I would ask for 3 things: 1. Multiple instances of Sexual Gross RP punishments should result in a ban. 2. The rule needs to clearly define what constitutes this so that there is no room for misinterpretation 3. There needs to be a safe space with multiple people present to disclose in. Private dms aren't working. Forums aren't working. We are asking for help to feel safe to disclose.

HI, MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY WHO HAS EXPERIENCED THIS PERSONALLY HERE! Just because you do not see people reporting it or haven't seen a clip does not mean it is not happening and does not mean these stories aren't true. I made a post on December 2nd after witnessing and hearing about multiple events leading up to a very brave member of our community coming forward to share something that should have NEVER been allowed to happen to her—regardless of the rule in place at the time. I can assure you a large majority of the female player base was horrified, but even worse, our community had a #metoo moment. What proceeded to happen was MULTIPLE members of the community coming forward to me with their own heartbreaking experiences on the server both on the crim and legal side, as females or on behalf of females they know, experiences that led to out-of-character impacts for them. This is not just hearsay—there are videos, screenshots, and DMs from MULTIPLE women in the community, detailing experiences with MULTIPLE members of our community. This is not isolated. The thing that has frustrated me the most about the community's response to this is that the entire conversation has been, "Well, they didn't report it or make a report." The fact of the matter is, a lot of these victims have made reports, have gone to members of staff, have tried to reach out, and have felt ignored or dismissed. We are driving players away because they no longer feel comfortable playing a video game. Again, ONE IN THREE WOMEN have experienced some kind of sexual violence, yet only 6% report it. Why don’t they report? Fear of the consequences for them (and from what multiple women have told me, they feel it will be even worse for them which has even been proven recently). The stigma around reporting. And most heartbreaking of all, the lack of trust in the system. I felt some sense of relief with this rule change, only to find out that this behavior continues as recently as today. How are we allowing players with MULTIPLE GrossRP rule breaches on their records to remain in the community? These are players who have demonstrated, repeatedly, that they are not going to change their behavior. There is no grey area. The rule change should have been an indication that You've been asked to stop. Enough is enough. We are done being silent on the matter. There NEEDS to be a safe place for players to disclose these experiences in a way that makes them feel seen and heard. Right now, we are failing our player base. Our community deserves better. Most importantly. To any community member reading this who has experienced this and is feeling silenced, not believed, not heard, not seen. I see you. we believe you. You deserve better.

Trigger Warning: References a previous post that has ties to SA Wanted to make an appreciation post to everyone who supported the recent rule change. Coming together as a collective voice so quickly and taking action is what made the change happen. A change that had been long discussed in the community. Huge win for the community itself. I also want to say thank you to everyone who shared their story publicly or with me privately. Your courage in speaking out did not go unnoticed, and it's been instrumental in bringing about this change within the community. For those who have felt triggered by some of the content on the server recently, I see you, and I hear you. This rule change is a testament to the strength of a community coming together to take a stand against harmful behavior. We hope this sends a clear message that this behavior will no longer be tolerated or overlooked or unpunished. I hope that those who have participated in these harmful actions take the time to reflect and truly understand the damage their behavior causes to others. Accountability starts with acknowledging the harm done and committing to change. Be better. Let it be clear: we will not blame victims in this community. Period. To the players who have never felt like they could speak up about this happening to them or reported similar issues in the past but were dismissed, disbelieved, or even blamed—you deserved better. This one is for you. You have paved the way for a safer and more inclusive environment for players, and I hope this marks the beginning of a better chapter for the community overall. EDIT: Apparently it will still go unpunished... but let it be clear it WILL NOT go unnoticed by the community. People are watching now. You know who you are. Be better.

TRIGGER WARNING: This post discusses sexual assault and rape, topics that may be distressing for some readers. Please proceed with caution. I have been a member of this community for a few years now and something I cannot wrap my brain around is why ANY kind of Rape or Sexual Assault RP is allowed on this server. I find this deeply troubling as I've heard about and witnessed members within a faction be a victim of this in the last month. I am horrified. Let me be very clear: sexual assault/rape serves absolutely NO purpose and is extremely harmful, especially in a community where the odds of real-life survivors are present. While consensual ERP, between adults, a mutual decision, sexual violence is a completely different situation. What I do not understand is why the use of sexual assault to further your roleplay does nothing but harm the victim in ways that can reach beyond the game. I do not give a single fuck if you are asking for consent prior to. You have NO idea what that person has gone through IRL and a group of grown men asking a woman to consent so they can rape/sexually assault and humiliate her in a video game is absolutely horrendous. It's appalling to me that we are asking victims of this ICly to report it and pause the roleplay when ONE IN THREE WOMEN have experienced some kind of sexual violence and literally 6% of them report. The stigma for reporting sexual assault or violence for a victim is horrendous. WHY are we putting this on our player base? WHAT purpose does this roleplay provide other than to traumatize victims and trivialize the seriousness of something so disgusting. If homophobia is not allowed, and racism is not allowed, I wholeheartedly argue that this server should remove ALL Rape/Sexual Assault roleplay (similar to other servers like GTA World). Before any incels hop on here telling me this is hindering their "creative freedom" of roleplay, it isn't about you. It's about creating a safe and inclusive environment for ALL players. No one should have to encounter this as part of their roleplay experience. Period. ONE IN THREE. Pause there and think about how many women you know on the server. One in three.
