  1. I think it would be a great idea to add a satellite office of some sort for the goverment in Paleto Bay. Just a nice simple interior in an existing space where people can go run the /donategov command. There have been many times when I find myself in Paleto and have to take the time to drive into the city just to donate at city hall for either my property that I am paying monthly for, or in recent history, paying for a missing firearm. It takes a big chunk of time for people who do the speed limit to get into the city and takes valuable time out of peoples days (like myself) who only have certain hours they can RP due to IRL obligations. I think setting up a "mayors office" or something up north would be beneficial for not only me, but for other players as well.
  2. Date and time (provide timezone): 26JAN2024 - Approx 0500 UTC Character name: Valkyrie Winger Issue/bug you are reporting: 911 call script still running after death. Expected behavior: When you die, the 911 call script should end so any text communications should not finalize the 911 call. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: My situation; I was in a shootout, and was downed by someone. I picked up my phone and dialed 911, then typed "both" to let PD/SD/MD know my location. Just as I was in the middle of typing that I was shot and injured, the person finished me off and I woke up at MD. About an hour later, I communicated with someone in text chat, and it took that message as the final input for the 911 call and made an active job out of the message I had sent.
  3. Massive +1 from me!
  4. It is more than implied that 911 is an emergency line. It doesn’t have to be explicitly stated that it is.
  5. If I remember correctly, within the last two months, the LAPD actively deployed a sniper in a heli to help stop a high speed pursuit and shot with such accuracy in a single shot moving at high speeds helping to bring the pursuit to a halt. So it’s not unrealistic at all. Additionally, as someone who is part of PD METRO, the training we receive on the marksman is INTENSE. We don’t just hand it off the just anyone in PD. You have to be in an already highly specialized division (METRO) and take even MORE training to deploy the MR. With that in mind, I don’t think the gunship is utilized ENOUGH. But the times it has been used has been in good faith and has helped advance the mission of bringing a situation to a safer end much quicker.
  6. Or, as someone else just pointed out to me, change the orientation of the drop so instead of laying across someone’s feet when placed, they are placed facing outwards longways.
  7. Suggestion for PD/SD. The way we currently utilize stingers to end car pursuits is extremely dangerous and also a hazard to our “budgets.” Having to stop and set up in the middle of a roadway to place stingers on the ground leaves us open for vehicles striking us (either on purpose or by accident) and leaves the stingers on the ground to be stolen by advantageous criminals. If it is scriptly possible, I would like to see the option to “throw” stingers in the street. 1. The Officer or Sheriffs Deputy can be positioned on the side of the road (out of their vehicle) in a safer location and throw them, and also leaving the roadway open to regular traffic so that we aren’t clogging up pursuit lines with civilian vehicles turning around in the middle of the roadway or slowing down to avoid the LEO in the middle of the road and the spike strip. 2. They aren’t just laying in the road for an extended period of time, leaving them open to being stolen by bystanders and criminals (it takes way to long to exit your vehicle to defend them realistically.) 3. Overall, it would make for a realistic RP experience as 99% of agencies either throw strips out or set them up and pull them across the street via a string at the right time to avoid civilian vehicles being unintentionally spiked. Just my two cents.
  8. -1 If we want RP to be realistic, PD would have better armor options, and for good reason. And honestly the whole “but I have to grind to get what they have” argument is moot as well for the same reasons. Crims IRL have to bide their time and make money to buy illegal items for a high cost because supply/demand. If you want any sort of change, change the headshot modifiers. Unless we are wearing a ballistic helmet, headshots should not take an entire clip to down someone. Make it so that one or two headshots down someone regardless of armor status and take a final shot to complete the deed.
  9. I think this could easily be solved by limiting certain items. IE - Limit of 2 of each type of table in an apartment, or something. Just a thought.
