With how this server is this just wouldn't work. Controversial comment but a majority of the crim player base are PVP orientated, players would spend way too much time here and that would in turn stop a lot of RP. This unfortunately just isn't a great idea in my opinion. The comments made above are my opinion on the topic, if you disagree then that's fine.

I absolutely agree with this, although I may not play the crim side of things, having loot inside of NPC cars is such a small change but a really good one. This can make it worth while for people to traverse the map looking for these cars and looting them, then this can also be good for LEO to intervene where necessary as there can be a call that's made to 911 if a failed attempt is made to open the cars.

this needs to happen, the fact that you can get cornered and kicked to death within 5 seconds is silly. +1

I'm not going to upvote or down vote but I personally really like gun sound mods as it makes the game feel more... just more. Being able to have realistic sounding weapons is really nice but I also see the downsides too. Personally I would like to use them.

Making this comment merely suggests that you believe that owning a super is only for "meta". Most players aren't fussed about speeds and more for the simple ownership of one and for the looks. I agree that there shouldn't be dictations for who can and can't own a super but the players that have been inactive for upwards of 2 years and permanently banned players with no chance of coming back should have their vehicles funnelled back into the pool. At the end of the day, it's a game. People want to get the cool things such as 7g houses or super cars. I believe that supers should be obtainable more but with the right ideas in mind. I don't think there should be pre-requisites for the ability to purchase one and I think that involving credits is the most silly suggestion.

I am glad that these threads get made to discuss the recent changes and what people's first impressions are, what isn't good however is that they 100% of the time will and has once again turned into an argument thread. Toxic comments need to stop before they get worse along with the back and forth, keep comments on topic or staff can and will close down the thread. My personal opinions on the tackling script is that it is a large step in the right direction. With what Bala said is true and good but what people cease to understand is, the update was made and released less than a day ago. A larger timeframe needs to be given to critique such an addition in such a way, I too would love a lot of tweaks and fixes with the scripts but that will come with time. I love the tackling as it gives all players a good chance to intervene with certain situations and events and gives a proper way to have and provide more fun. For me looking at it from a large LEO side of things. I personally hate over tazing people as it doesn't give any fun for the situation or the players involved. Tackling has made a way for LEO's and other players alike a chance to take the situation in a great way and have fun with it too. The thing that I do not particularly like is the cuffing that comes with the tackle script as It's rather flawed and broken. I'm not sure what is possible on RAGEMP as I know that it has it's limitations but a more realistic animation for cuffing would be good with the actual skill check being just after the animation starts giving more of a chance to actually react. LEO's are required to shout out that they are going to be cuffing the suspect with something along the lines of "going for cuffs!" and then cuffing them to give ample time for the suspect to react to the skill check and have a fair chance of being able to escape. This is good and hopefully with further fixes and tweaks this will be a really good addition. This being said, the only thing I have to say against it is that without the cuffing part of this, the tackling is made slightly obsolete. If you tackle a player after running after them then have to stop for around 5-10 seconds to write out the RP for cuffing someone makes things rather slowed down and silly. Being able to cuff someone right after a tackle is great and should be a thing but as stated above needs to be tweaked and fixed. My opinions for changes: The cuffing radius needs to be significantly lowered. Cuffing animation to be made more realistic instead of just twiddling your hands a bit to cuff them. Cuffing animation starts then around a second after the animation starts the skill check comes up (Cops are already making this easier by shouting when they are cuffing anyways). More ways to make tackling activity based (Bala's suggestion of the gym or steroids are a really good idea for this). Maybe take a steroids (or other drugs too) and for the next 30 seconds you can be immune to a single tackle attempt from another player then the buff wears off. I'm sure there is a lot more that can be done but this is just my first impressions and ideas.

I agree with this fully, there are very simple ways around this, and as Requiem said, people do not have to use scripted vehicles and can have their own so there is no need to have the "clock on" script with uniform which allows the radio.

I mean this can easily be done with key binds with programs such as AHK. If you truly do not VoIP on the game and you need to type, then use AHK binds to assist with this. Always make sure that they don't provide an advantage over other players though.

Why would we investigate when we use these cameras? They were introduced IRL for the same reason; to understand everything that happened and use it as evidence. They were also implemented to ensure officers are adhering to the policies and procedures. Body cameras provide use for everyone, they ensure that civilians and criminals are being treated the proper way and also to ensure that people are being charged correctly for what exactly happened. Removing them is not necessary and rather pointless as yes it could possibly bring some more "true" roleplay but it would turn out to be unfun after a while as people would exploit having no video cameras. There are pros and cons to this suggestion but I feel as though the cons outweigh the pros here. Large -1 from me.

There's a multitude of different things that I hate with crims, things that crims do that bother me and piss me off, I don't sit here and make threads to remove them because I have an issue. I deal with it, I adapt, it is not hard. I'm not going to go into it but there is a lot of double standards with these threads and it turns into slander extremely quickly. TLDR; entire "mechanics" are not going to be removed just because it bothers you.
