It is possible to get zone name of a person. When you enter a new zone it is displayed via GTA:V's normal native methods. For police stuff, I'm planning on some function to be able to request backup, maybe with waypoint/blips but most likely just going to show zone name, or if possible highlight the entire zone the officer asked for backup in. A message for responding to a backup call would be easy to do as well, but shouldn't limit officers to join backup requests. I'll probably make it up to the officer asking for assistance whenever their call has received enough backup. As for displaying the street name always, I personally don't think it's needed but a command or integration with UI like police MDC would be useful in some cases. In other cases where you have called backup, the script will handle the rest.

Thanks for suggesting this, we'll discuss this further upon a later date. I like the idea, it would definitely take time to fly planes across the state. One thing, I think passengers should be peds or non-existant, regular players wouldn't often use this as they could also drive across the map and having 20+ players occupying a plane at all times is unlikely. Helicopter tours might make sense as well, though I find just renting these vehicles can have the same effect (on price too).

I think you're getting laws and rules mixed up. Dylan created in-game rules we can look this over and dependent on the priorities of any rule you've suggested that we don't already have we can implement. In our most recent update we have stated we're supporting community factions now. If you'd like to suggest in-game in-character laws for players that the police will enforce the Government would be the area you'd be interested in. I believe they handle taxes as well (most likely not the %, funding) I like the LSPD idea, in my area an officer can give tickets or decide to arrest a person for any crime if they see fit. The ticket amounts have a minimum and maximum limit which can be issued at intervals such as $150-300 for 40 km/h over speed limit. We are planning on issuing property tax on all player's properties including vehicles, see Feature Reveal #1 (Economy). All purchases have sales tax, this regulates every purchase immediately at a fixed rate. It will feature income tax for all classes of persons, lower, middle and upper class so it will calculate all assets owned and tax the player based upon that - This removes the need for increasing the tax every purchase as you mentioned above because a player with more assets and income is taxed more. The idea of a starting basis for the server with levels & starting money is quite small and generic, we already have plans for how players will start.

Hey guys. I just made this so I could see what everyone would be roleplaying as soon as they get the chance to create a character! For me personally I will be roleplaying an african-american male in his late adolescence who will most likely be stuck on the streets because of his poor family values and lack of education and start or join a gang to fend for himself.
