Daevilmonkie Posted August 25, 2021 Report Share Posted August 25, 2021 I'd like to share my story of an accident I recently just had which i feel was very IC based. I got taken to DoC, and upon entering i was conversating with the guard who was escorting me, friendly convo. Upon entering, Kimeybear101, on her IC DoC guard immediately butts into my conversation with a smart and snarky remark which put a bad taste in my mouth immediately. I continue with the rp of changing into my jumpsuit to eventually find fellow club members and start to talk about what happened. I mention how we should start a riot in a joking manner to my friend, and again Kimey would decide to chime in which this is not what im mad about as its her duty ic'ly to stop that talk quickly. But the conversation would turn demeaning and condescending on my part just giving her a hard time as she tries to explain herself, and at this point i really just dont care so i "uh huh" her after every sentence. She doesnt like this, we walk away and do our own thing. I cause more trouble as i flee when they attempt to get me into a cell, just giving more of a hard time IC'ly. i eventually run out of energy IC'ly and allow them to put me into a cell. At this point im ready to do my time and just get it done so i /anim sleep on the bunk and i /me falls asleep. At this point Kimey walks up one last time to try and make peace or to instigate the situation more, but she notices im sleeping and then walks off like oh okay. Im not sure if ignoring her and not letting her say what she wanted caused this, but not even 5 minutes later Kimeybear101 admin drops into my cell and tells me im being forced to change my name after 6 months in the city, using this name to apply to the app, had this name while having multiple interactions with her IC'ly and OOC'ly as an admin and NEVER. EVER. mentioned ANYTHING about my name being a problem. UNTIL i had this mean interaction with her IC'ly. I even appealed her name change decision with facts and evidence pointing to my name being real and realistic and she ignored everything and stuck with her original decision. I PROVED to her. and was ignorant and ignored the facts. Now my character is ruined, the name i made for myself through the city was nothing but loved and respected. To all add this is 6 months after building on this server and I do like it. But my GOD is staff so picky and choosey with what to enforce, when, and when itll help them with IC grudges. I feel like this is my stop for this server as no one could be bothered to be wrong and see another side of something. I just warn everyone to be careful of this in the future, as my RP experience is ruined because i gave an admin a hard time IC'ly and she decided she wanted to ruin my character, probably because she solely can. 1 1 1 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nivek Posted August 31, 2021 Report Share Posted August 31, 2021 I never understood how people could let IC arguments/drama get them just as mad as real life altercations. I understand immersion, and I have had some feelings about situations in the past, but I've never held grudges against people who did me wrong IC. I hope things work out for you.
