Expanding Fishing

Hi there! Not sure if similar posts have been made, but it would be really cool to see the fishing aspect made a little bigger.
This could be done in a number of ways.

  1. Adding different size catches. Instead of them all being 2 lbs, you could have small ones like 1-5 lbs in land, and maybe 1-20 lbs for sea fishing.
  2. Adding names to the fish depending on if you catch them from the ocean or rivers. Catching Tuna in the deep sea would be worth a lot more than catching common carp in land.
  3. Adding bait that would increase the wait time for catches. Instead of waiting about 2 minutes for something to bite, you could wait half the time.

I dont know what's possible in GTA when it comes to fishing, but I figured I'd share some thoughts. It would be really cool to see more than just "Oh wow, my 573th 2 lbs fish"

This would be a great addition I feel like. Just like with the butcher for example, different types of meat give you different money and I think that would be great with fishing too. I saw someone mention above that a company could rent out boats etc and I think that is an amazing idea !

This would make a great roleplay scene between players and people competing to catch the biggest fish. This could also turn into competitions in the future for example alot of people would attend the event and boats would already be there, and people would have to fish in a certain time and who ever caught the biggest fish would win a cash prize or something equivalent.

Another part would be make some fish rarer than the other or can only be caught in certain locations, I have no idea about fish but something that would be hard to catch IRL should be hard to find in RP.
