Mushy Posted February 3, 2018 Report Posted February 3, 2018 Hi guys - im new to the community... GTA V works perfectly fine when i run it direct from steam. But since ive installed the mutliplayer app to connect to your server i keep getting an error which crashes my game. I have reinstalled the game 3 times today !! its starting to drive me nuts ... The error i get is the : ERR_GFX_D3D_INIT I have followed youtube videos for their fixes, googled it but it only happens when i start the game via the multiplayer app. Can anyone assist me with this ? InfamousFelix Posted February 3, 2018 Report Posted February 3, 2018 Hello, This is an issue from using overlays that started a few months ago if you have any overlays running, disable them and it should run after that. Quote
Mushy Posted February 3, 2018 Author Report Posted February 3, 2018 I have no overlays running in the background. Simply start the pc, open steam and then open the GTA multiplayer app... all works until i start typing to login to the server. at this point, the game crashes Quote
gyrhnr Posted February 3, 2018 Report Posted February 3, 2018 On my end ,if i log in too quickly it times out ,what i do is when i start gta multi player i wait for 30 seconds, than connect to eclipse rp ,than wait 30 seconds and than type in my pass and log in try it Quote
