HitmanCypress Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 I was playing poker few minutes ago and i lost a hand i was supposed to be the winner. I got a straight on the table and the other player got a pair and won the hand. In poker the straight is way more better than the pair. Here is the record of the hand. http://plays.tv/video/59907404aeb9e631b5/poker-bug?from=user
AnnoyingOne Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 Yeah, this has happened to me too. A should count as high and low.
nateX Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) Yeah, I had a pair of ace and a king, people still managed to win because I didn't have money to bet. Even have a recording from it. Edited August 13, 2017 by nateX
nateX Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 Ah, you can even see me complaining in the video.
NoewUH Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 Hey, Marc. That hand would not be considered a straight due to the ace being considered a high card. Either it is a setup issue (card not having right value) or planned to be (devs meant card to be this), the ace is considered a "14". IE. a straight would be "10, J, Q, K, A", not "A,2,3,4,5". Apologies for any confusion the game might have caused you. - NoewUH
AnnoyingOne Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 If you look in the Wikipedia 5 4 3 2 A is considered as straighthttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_poker_hands#Straight
