Bala Posted February 13, 2020 Report Share Posted February 13, 2020 The premise is pretty simple, vehicle dealerships would be given a small number of used car slots to sell used vehicles Think of it like a small scale high-end, like five vehicles a dealership or something. To get your vehicle listed, you would have to contact the owner of dealership in-character and work out the details of the vehicle sale. The selling price of the vehicle. The amount of time listed at the dealership. The % of the sale that the dealership would take as commission when it sold. /dealercar [playerid] [price] [percent] [days] The best use of it might be for selling the unique vehicles like the supers, vehicle sales that aren't very common but you also have the opportunity to do some roleplay around the dealerships and establish business relationships with the owners. Jasmine Posted February 14, 2020 Report Share Posted February 14, 2020 I like this for 2 reasons: 1) It helps solves the "he is always full!" issue. Giving another option to sell vehicles. (and in the process cut down on scams) 2) It encourages owners to be online and engage with other RPrs. (as long as this doesn't become a simple script command encouraging more offline-income) Could work like loans, where the owner has to be there to run the script. I think this type of interaction should even be expanded. Requiring owners (or hired employees the owners can hire) to engage with customers in order for any sales to happen. With so many cars on the market, people go to resale lots and forums first before dealers because they're cheaper in the long run which I support and encourage. There's no good, profitable way to *eliminate* a car from the server except scrap it and that's super low in return, or wait for someone to buy the car who will eventually leave the server and never come back.
