Flucifial Posted January 3, 2020 Author Report Posted January 3, 2020 (edited) Album Facts: Rock Bottom has been in production since before Reborn (my 1st album) was even released: So, unlike Rock Bottom, Reborn was actually complete for about a week and a half before it was finally released, but I knew that I wanted to make a follow up to Reborn before I even finished Reborn. I started working on the concept and started writing songs for the album around the end of September. Order in-which songs were made: No Apologies - Cover Dear God - Cover In My Head Intro II Relapse - Skit I Don't Want It - Cover Farewell Mighty Angels & Demons Earnings Shawty SELF PROCLAMATION - Freestyle Street Hoe There are over 15 versions of the Rock Bottom track-list: During the production of Rock Bottom, I was going through a lot in my personal life while also trying to make an album. The whole concept behind Rock Bottom was changed slightly so many times as well as the amount of tracks that were album, which tracks were on the album, etc. Originally, there was going to be 16 tracks, (( one being an OOC track, )) but as I started getting deeper into production whilst planning the future of my career, I decided 16 tracks would be too much for Rock Bottom because of the type of album Rock Bottom is. The album was originally going to be released on Friday, December 20th, 2019: As everyone knows, the release date for the album was always going to be Friday, January 3rd, 2020. Originally when I publicly announced that date, I announced a release that would be farther away than most people (including me) probably expected, because I knew I was going to change things with the album as I went on with production. I decided that I wanted to aim for a surprise-drop, but once the date got closer, I realized I needed more time for Rock Bottom to be the album I wanted it to be. "SELF PROCLAMATION (Freestyle)" was a last-minute addition to Rock Bottom: At the last minute, I decided I wanted Rock Bottom to have a freestyle just as Reborn did as Rock Bottom was a direct follow-up to Reborn. Before I did the freestyle, I was feeling like the tone of Rock Bottom was TOO blue/low/bad, and that it needed something good and something that gets people up. It was also (in my opinion) the most lyrical track on the album. "Farewell's" first verse is from Eminem's verse on Dr. Dre's "Medicine Man," and the outro is from Eminem's "Been Real.": Half of "Farewell" is actually a cover of Dr. Dre's "Medicine Man," from his 2015 album Compton. Flucifial Posted February 1, 2020 Author Report Posted February 1, 2020 (edited) I just want to use this post to just say that, while Rock Bottom is a good album in my own opinion, it marks the END OF AN ERA in my music and my next album is the START of a BRAND NEW one, one that will be much better than the last. My next album is still in the writing stage, BUT just know that if you're a lyrical person you will NOT be disappointed. If you're a flow person, you will DEFINITELY NOT be disappointed. P.S: This album will contain 100% original lyrics written by ME or any artist that features. This will be a much more aggressive album compared to the last two, there are very few sad-type songs unlike Rock Bottom and Reborn. I'm trying my best to show my full lyrical ability on this one. ALL THE BEATS ARE FIRE TOO! You guys will love it- EVEN IF YOU DON'T FUCK WITH ME, IF YOU LIKE HIP HOP: There is at least one track you will like.
