Parking Lots & Multi-Storey Parking Buildings - CCTV Monitored Area

Recommended Posts

Make all parking buildings & parking lots "CCTV Monitored Areas". If a person attempts to pick lock a vehicle in a "CCTV Monitored Area" then police will automatically be notified (similar to the store robbery notification).

This way people can park in CCTV Monitored Areas with a degree of confidence but without it being impossible for cars to be stolen.

Yes to this. There needs to be notifications for the police for many activities too. People will try to rob you while you're in a store changing clothes, one would expect a store clerk and camera to be able to alert police.

Notifications for excessive speeding and shooting within some parts of the city too.

People shouldnt be able to be robbed in stores imo. Should be against rules given that people would be in the menus

I don't think the menu really matters, but how many people would walk into a store to rob customers IRL? And how many of them can do so without any fear of the police getting involved?

Personally I believe including many interiors as "NCZ" but changing what that entails. Any crimes committed in a NCZ would appear marked on the map and inform the police. If anybody steals a vehicle it would be reported as stolen and create a BOLO. Anytime a stolen vehicle enters a NCZ it could notify police.

I not currently in place, setting up a car scanner that would flag license plates that have been added to the BOLO list.

The numbers of car jackings and thefts that individual players have to endure is very high because the number of people in-game is limited. A majority of players that are not in a government faction are criminals, even some that are employed in civilian factions. Setting up systems that allow the police to better respond to crime in the city would be a good start to solving some of these issues. Rules are also in need of change to ensure healthier player interactions.
