EdgeMatt Posted June 10 Report Posted June 10 Player(s) being reported: ID 39 & Another not viewable in pov Date of interaction reported: 10/JUN/2026 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1781124473 Your character name: Clint Springer Other player(s) involved: Jonathon Martin, Ace Hawkins Specific rule(s) broken: 3. Deathmatching (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper in-character (IC) motive and/or prior escalation. Ideally, there should be sufficient prior interaction to justify an attack. Hostile behaviour, threats, verbal abuse, harassment, insults, physical aggression, ignoring demands, calling for backup/reinforcements, protecting your own life (and property), or that of your allies could all be considered sufficient reasons for physical retaliation. Keep in mind, however, that it is expected from players to also take a measured response to any such escalation. For example, realistically, a person would not normally just shoot someone else for a mere insult or minor damage to their property, but instead, they could start a brawl which, in turn, could eventually lead to firearms being drawn into the action. On the other hand, if you need to protect your life or to escape severe in-character repercussions, such as severe criminal charges or arrest, then the use of a firearm may be justified; however, each player needs to use their best judgement and consider what kind of retaliation (if any) they would take in the real world while not forgetting the real-life repercussions of their choices. Additional PvP points: Pedestrians must not be attempted to be hit by a vehicle more than once, or without a valid motive. Vehicles must not be used as weapons in active shootouts unless it is unavoidable (enemies blocking an escape route). Players must be able to explain their decisions to attack other players and be able to provide proof of escalation if requested. If you are told that your VOIP is not working, you must either fix your VOIP (can try /vr 1) or you must use the text chat to deliver your demands and RP. If you are part of an active faction war and are on the enemy's turf and/or actively disputed turf, it will be considered sufficient escalation to engage in combat with confirmed participants in the war. Purpose: This rule is here to make sure that when players fight each other in the game, it happens in a way that makes sense and is fair. Everyone involved should know why the fight is happening. Also, this rule helps protect players from being attacked for no good reason. Before any fight starts, there should be enough talking and/or action that leads up to it, so everyone knows why it's happening. Punishment: Anything from an admin jail to an indefinite ban. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum) I had just clocked on and got asked for back-up on a traffic stop. At the end of the traffic stop Greg Ackerman reversed into my cruiser so with my taser in hand I used it to take out a tyre due to the ramming of the cruiser. I began to follow the vehicle and decided to call for back up as I realised they were not going to stop. The driver got after crashing along with what looked like a member of locos, and then she ran, upon her being tased on the road another cruiser came drifting round trying to stop but ultimately Greg got injured and I got sent across the road. A vehicle pulled near with a door open which contained another locos member but at this point Greg was injured. I carried her to be treated and then continue with the arrest when at the point of searching her body, shots started coming our way. No warning, no real prior interaction or escalation with the Locos members from LEO other than one being in the vehicle initially and one trying to help her get away the shooting due to this situation did not seem justifiable and did not actually know why this was happening. Thank you to the handling member of staff who takes this report. Evidence of rule breach I can provide a link to the POV to the handling member of staff as it contains some staff chat. Quote

grak4629 Posted yesterday at 12:08 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:08 AM Hello! Thank you for taking the time to have a look at this report! I'm Greg Ackerman btw:) I was driving off with Luca Marcello after reversing (slowly, not ramming like more of a scrape) into Clint Springer's cruiser - prior to this we were just basically spectating an arrest, since our friend was in the back of a cop car so we were just lurking. When I started driving off I didn't know I was being chased by Clint Springer until Luca called it out so I quickly turned into a corner but ultimately crashed and stalled my vehicle, due to my tyre being taken out by a literal TASER (not sure how that works irl). I quickly got out the car and started running from the cop. Luca had called out on his loco frequency that I was being arrested, and Jackson Jacobs started heading to our whereabouts, in attempt to be my getaway driver. As Jackson pulled up, I got hit by a police cruiser. Which led to me being knocked down and I was dying. So, putting this to the point, this literal gang member has seen me being ran over/arrested by the police, so he obviously called it out on frequency that I had been ran over and the cop moved me to the path to BLS me. So they planned on frequency that they were going to come and get me. They shot the cops down and got me away. The argument about shooting ruining this RP is pointless, because it was ruined the second I was downed by a cruiser. They had a reason to shoot the cops because they saw me get ran over and they were attempting to arrest me. My character has been in company with the locos for some time so it wasn't like a random shootout for fun, they are allies and they were coming to break me away. I don't have POV because it wasn't requested. Quote
Dexter Nevermore Posted yesterday at 01:17 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:17 AM Hello Miss Pumpkin, I hope you are well and thank you for taking the time to handle this report. To give my side of things, i had just gotten home from work and flew into the city. As logs can confirm, i go /r c about 80% of the time when i first log in, and this was no different. Right after sending it i got the call over the radio that Greg was being arrested. i asked Luca what he needed and he told me over the radio that we needed a car to get her out. since i was at my apartment i pulled out my Itali GT and drove straight to the location Luca gave me. When i arrived i could see Greg being arrested and i pulled up alongside her with my door open ready to get her in. At that point Jonathan Martins cruiser drove directly over greg, wich made it impossible for me to get her into the car. i drove off and relayed what happend to luca. we agreed that we were going to have to take her out by force. i grabbed my go-bag and drove back to where it all went down. when i got there i could see three officers standing over Greg in the parking lot across from vinewood PD. Luca took the high ground, i took the road and we handled it. i picked Greg up, moved her into the hills and waited for Luca to come trough with Kamacho before we got her to safety. One thing i want to address is that since i had just flow into the city i did not have my medal on. i was not expecting to be involved in a shootout or any serious RP with law enforcement from the moment i logged in. I also made MR. Springer aware of this in game. sincerley, Jackson "JJ" Jacobs Quote
YuSoHelpful Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Hello team, To give some context, me and Greg were near a traffic stop with a few others just being a nuisance, nothing violent, no weapons, just a bit of fun. We got back in the car and Greg reversed, tapping Clint's cruiser at about 1-2 km/h, genuinely the lightest tap you've ever seen. Clint then started speaking to her and while trying to maneuver she scraped the side of his vehicle, not intentional, she's just not the greatest driver. He ordered her to step out and knowing Greg, she drove off instead. This is where I have my first issue. With no warning and no demands given to either of us besides "step out of the car", Clint deployed his taser onto our tyres. I'd like staff to consider this carefully because taser prongs do not flatten tyres the way a gunshot would (I get sometimes cops use it as a joke between them, but this was a serious roleplay scenario as he went for the pursuit and everything), that's just not realistic, and more importantly I'd like to know what DM rights existed at that moment to justify disabling our vehicle over a minor scrape and a slow tap. In my view this warrants a NonRP/Deathmatching punishment on its own. Greg then crashes as a direct result of the tyre being taken out with a TASER and we both bail on foot with Clint still in pursuit going for the arrest. I get on radio straight away and Jackson happens to be flying into the city at that exact moment and asks what we need. I explain the situation, where Greg is, that she's about to get arrested and that we need a car to pick her up so we can get out. Jackson moves towards her while I try to get hold of a vehicle myself. He then calls out on radio that Greg has just been rammed by a PD cruiser while fleeing, which put our original plan of just picking her up completely out the window. At that point the decision was straightforward. Our friend was injured, she was being arrested and looking at a serious sentence, and she'd just been rammed by law enforcement. We geared up, made a plan and executed it properly. Jackson got to Greg, picked her up and got her out. I grabbed my kamacho, got Greg in and took her to the illegal doctor and we were clear. To summarise the escalation that justified our actions: our tyre was taken out with no warning(no proper escalation) and no DM rights, our friend was being arrested and facing serious charges (120min+), and she was physically rammed by a PD cruiser during that arrest. Each of those points on their own is arguable justification. All three together made our response not only reasonable but necessary (from a Los Locos gang member perspective).
