Dear Community, I've been doing drops and runs to Cayo over the last couple of days, and it got me thinking. Outside of the Super Lab and the event that happens once or twice a year, Cayo is basically a dead location on the server. It's a large and unique area, but it sees very little use for the vast majority of players. What if the developers could turn Cayo into a large hunting reserve? This would give both criminals and legal players a reason to visit the island by allowing them to hunt and poach animals for profit. It would create another enjoyable money-making activity while making much better use of a part of the map that currently feels empty most of the time. A few ideas that could make Cayo more attractive include: A dedicated hunting/poaching system with a variety of animals. Fishing spots around the island with unique catches or better rewards than the mainland. A marina or secure boat parking, allowing players to leave their boats on Cayo without constantly worrying about them being stolen or destroyed. Small side activities or random events that encourage players to explore different parts of the island. Furthermore, this idea wouldn't only benefit civilians and criminals—it could also create a lot of additional roleplay opportunities for emergency services. For example, LSEMS and their protection details could receive calls involving hunting accidents, where someone has been mauled by a puma, jaguar, or another dangerous animal. Depending on the severity of the injuries, helicopters could be used to airlift patients back to the mainland hospital, creating exciting medical rescue scenarios. It could also generate more roleplay for the police. Imagine a criminal who gets attacked by a wild animal while carrying an illegal firearm or other contraband. Before LSEMS can transport and treat the patient, they would need to request police assistance to secure the scene and deal with any illegal items, creating natural interactions between EMS, law enforcement, and criminals instead of forcing them. To prevent the area from becoming a robbery hotspot, I'd also suggest introducing an OOC rule regarding legal hunters. The goal is to encourage roleplay, not create a location where criminals camp purely to steal legally owned firearms. For example, if a player is hunting with a legally registered firearm and can present a valid firearm or hunting license, criminals should not be allowed to rob them simply to take the weapon. This would prevent the area from becoming a vacuum for free guns while still allowing criminals to interact with hunters through roleplay in other ways if appropriate. At the moment, Cayo is almost exclusively associated with criminal activities, and even then it's only really used for drops or the occasional Super Lab. Giving both legal and illegal players reasons to spend time there would make the island feel alive and make much better use of an area that has a lot of potential. I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks or if you have other ideas that could bring more life to Cayo. sincerly, Jackson JJ Jacobs

Server tag for people with disabilities.
Dexter Nevermore replied to bloodymarysgirl's topic in Game Suggestions
+1 this is one amazing idea, that said i do surgest to have this tag placed by a staff member of the server since not everyone would use this option honestly and this would prevent abuse of this feature, id also maby surgest not ''disabled'' but deaf or ect, disabled is such a negative stemple sometimes, i rather see someone is deaf then disabled?? -
Hey everyone, Jackson here. I'd like to share a few thoughts on this topic from the criminal side only. At the end of the day, I think both cops and crims want the same thing: more roleplay. I try to create as much RP as I can myself, whether that's using bobby pins, hiding my phone, or throwing away my ID before committing criminal acts. Because of that, there are a few mechanics that I think work against RP rather than encouraging it. Identification after arrest One thing I don't agree with is officers being able to instantly identify someone the moment they're cuffed. If I've gone through the effort of roleplaying hiding my phone and throwing away my ID before committing a crime, that RP should matter. Instead, an officer can simply identify me without any RP or in-character explanation, effectively making everything I did pointless. If an officer genuinely cannot find my ID, that should create more RP instead of less. They could transport the suspect to the station, process fingerprints, and identify them through police records. At that point they could also check for BOLOs or outstanding warrants. That entire process creates additional interactions for both police and criminals instead of instantly skipping to the end. Tasing from a moving vehicle Personally, I don't think officers should be able to fire a taser from a moving vehicle. This ends so many situations before they have a chance to develop. Foot pursuits are some of the most enjoyable RP for both sides, but all too often an officer in the car seat simply fires a taser and the entire situation is over within seconds. I've even had officers message me afterwards saying they were disappointed because another officer ended the RP before it could develop. To be clear, I'm not saying every officer does this, but it happens often enough that it affects the quality of RP. Fear RP and heavy firearms Another point is Fear RP when heavy weapons are involved. If a criminal points a heavy rifle at an officer, there should be genuine fear for both sides. Too often it feels like some officers already know they'll survive because they have body armour, backup is arriving, or they simply expect to win the situation. That mindset removes hostage negotiations and many other RP opportunities. I recently received a report after shooting three officers. During that report, Daxu mentioned there were other ways to resolve the situation. With all due respect, from a criminal perspective there often aren't. Many criminals have experienced situations where officers refuse to negotiate or surrender under any circumstances because they're determined to "win." If officers know they will win, even when heavily outgunned, then negotiations lose their purpose and criminals are pushed towards using force instead. I'm not saying every officer behaves this way, There are some of officers who create fantastic RP and are enjoyable to interact with. However, the current mechanics and the mindset of some players often reward "winning" over creating an engaging story for everyone involved. At the end of the day, I don't think either side wants constant shootouts. Both cops and crims benefit from longer interactions, investigations, negotiations, pursuits, and meaningful consequences. Waiting for backup during traffic stops One last point I'd like to bring up is something I've experienced multiple times. If a criminal gets pulled over in an off-road vehicle by a police supercar, there shouldn't be a five to ten minute wait while officers call for backup or switch their vehicles just so they have the perfect setup for the stop. From a criminal's perspective, it's incredibly frustrating to sit there waiting for several minutes while the situation is put on hold. RP shouldn't have to stop simply because the responding units didn't bring the right vehicles. Personally, I think if suitable backup can't arrive within roughly Four minutes, the officers on scene should continue with the traffic stop using the resources they have available. Sometimes that means accepting that the suspect may escape, and that's okay. Not every situation needs to end in an arrest. It also comes down to how police resources are managed. If the city has off-road capable units or motorcycle officers available, those units should already be on patrol rather than only switching into them once a pursuit or traffic stop requires it. From my experience, I rarely see bike officers or off-road capable units patrolling unless they're specifically changing into those vehicles because the current situation calls for it. At the end of the day, I understand officers want to give themselves the best chance of succeeding, just like criminals do. However, making one side wait five to ten minutes so the other side can prepare isn't enjoyable RP. The story should continue naturally with the officers who are already present, even if that means the outcome isn't always in the police's favour.

Yall turning this onto something its not ment to be... this topic was created to figure out a way between cops and crims for MORE ROLEPLAY, tazing from a car stops rollplay, tazing crims that run away is not even a point in this topic and you should taze a crim that runs away but not from a car. Most of the time this is what happens and its a shame, everyone keeps looking for problems and no one thinks in solutions, from make a just make a report to these are the rules, yea rules are rules, and reports are just a lame way to complain about your bad experience. How about everything takes a deep breath, and we think about a solution that we can bring up with the higher ups so we all can enjoy rp instead or living on forum drive. Therefor i want to state this, its also about the individual player, some cops/crims are known for having a good RP! If I run into let's say Rebecca, May, Clint, Brian, Hope, Charlie or Amir and Nacho, I make sure I do a little extra my best to get some good rp going, Some cops/crims if I see them i already know its going to be bad, so I wont go out my way to put my best on, and iknow this counts for both ways ofcourse, but if the individual dont change, nothing changes.

This is true but if you are in a chase while doing a wheele at some point you gotte go back on 2 wheels or you crash. But since its a OOC rulebreak and a chase starts because of it, should the chase then not get voided aswel the moment you start following that rule? This being said, if im on my gargoyle driving over the train track (the wood part) and cops follow me on there BF400 driving the traintracks(the metal beem) to catch up, doesn't this then also fall under the same rule? Cause this happens aswel and since we cannot use GTA game mechanics to escape, cops should not be allowed to use those same mechanics to keep up, by "Curb/Terrain" Boosting?
-
True its not realistic. What should be allowed is the following, if you already doing a wheely and get pulled over for it, you should be allowed to finish that wheely, since you already broke the law and got in trouble for it, finish that wheely and then dont start a new one after the one you finished.

The consequences, are that it stops the rp and I think I can speak for most crims, they dont care we lose stuff, crims are crims, but the crims want rp and having rp stopped every time because of a seated taser is just not it, and taking every cop to forums is just not worth it, cause imma say something and you can do what you want with it. Most people dont go to forums for reports like that anymore, why? Its pointless, reports get denied, people get a soft talked to they should do better and a little later they do it again. And yes people slip up, but you see that there is 3 reports about a "slip up" in the last week, and thats just from the people that are completely done with it, imagine how many times it happens more for people who just dont care anymore and wanne go to prison ASAP and be afk there.

Dear Community, I know the community is having a hard time. As of late, I've been getting told by cops that crims only shoot and no RP, while crims say cops shoot and no RP. This is what annoys me. I've been playing crim since I joined the server, and it's fun as long as you do it with the right people. What does that mean, in my case (crim side)? Example: I'm having the time of my life in a police cruiser driving down the city and getting chased by the cops. I'm guessing they want this because I blocked them from arresting a crim with an AK, and they go for me in their stolen cruiser instead. I make it through the city, the cops try to PIT me one time, I make it out to Senora Road, and more cops join the pursuit. At this point, we get to the highway, and there it turns into Bumper Car Festival 2026 (for me, this is still fine). At one point, my car stalls and I run out on foot. Here comes the point that annoys me for two things: Cops complain they don't get RP with crims. Why would cops complain about having no RP when THEY stop it by doing something so lame it's just not worthy to call RP? Why, if in my case, Mr. Clint Springer is blocking my front and a cop is dead on my heels, and there are 8 cops in total, does the officer that is in his car still find the need to shoot me with his taser and stop the RP right away? Because for 15 seconds I can't do anything anymore, and the RP is instantly dead. No more trying to run away, no more cops getting out of their car and THEN tasering, lets take this appart in the clip you can see mr spinger getting infront of my far ahead to get out of his term, he can tackle me, he can THEN shoot his taser, he can pull his shotgun, he can do so much, he made me turn down to where other cops were that were already out of there cruisers, but all the potential GONE why A TASER FROM A CAR SEAT. Video : https://medal.tv/games/gta-v/clips/mXixeld3njhWWx2JP?invite=cr-MSxQc0osNTI5NjI0NTcx&v=144 If we really want to bring back some good RP between crims and cops, take away that they can just fire their taser from their car. There have been a lot of reports this past week about cops doing it. If you don't want to have a long RP, don't join in on the call. Take, for example, a cop shooting his taser through an armored window of an armored truck??? We get slapped on the wrist if we shoot through the back of a Monstro. I get it if both cars are damaged. Sure, both front windows are gone, take your shot. But if we need better RP between cops and crims, like everyone wants (I hope), then I'd ask the admins and the LFM/ILFM to get on this and work something out. Because if this keeps going, this amazing server, where people make friends and sometimes families, I've been told, will rot to its core and turn into a normal GTA V multiplayer game. I'm not stupid, and I know cops also have their reasons for shooting tasers from seats. I'd like to hear you as well. But if we don't work out something together... we won't get anywhere. Prison Break RP – Why Is It Such a Hassle? Where do I even start… Prison break RP right now feels way more complicated than it should be. Yes, lockpicks were added, which is great in theory—but in practice, you still need admin permission to even get the RP started. And the biggest issue? About 90% of the time, there’s no response at all. In just the past two days, I’ve tried twice to set up some fun RP by getting lockpicks into prison for the Loco’s. One time, I got no response whatsoever. The other time, I got bounced around—told to go from the wall to a table, make a “prayer,” then create a Discord ticket… which was then completely ignored. That just kills the momentum and makes it frustrating instead of fun. On top of that, I’ve had situations where the officer processing me OOCly knows I have lockpicks, and suddenly they’re constantly patrolling the yard—something that almost never happens otherwise. It really feels like there’s some metagaming going on there. At this point, prison RP just feels like too much of a hassle. Why do we even need permission to break out? I understand needing oversight for breaking into the prison, but escaping? You already go through a lot of RP just to get the required items inside. Instead, you end up waiting around—sometimes as long as your entire sentence—for a response. And by then, what’s the point? Who’s going to wait hours after their sentence just to maybe get an RP scenario that could even add more time? I really think this system needs a rework. It shouldn’t feel this difficult just to create good RP. Jackson Jacobs - Loco's

The Rebel Camp The Rebel Camp The corruption of the city was never The Rebels way. They needed to get away from it all. Immediately work began on constructing The Rebels Camp at the Rebel Radio station. Here First boxes were unloaded with camping supplies. Next tents were erected and each Rebel slept their first night at what would become their home for the foreseeable future. Some of those Rebels who helped initially setup the camp would eventually leave, and go on to other things within the city, such is a rebels way. However many stayed, those that stayed would go on to help cement the foundations of the entire organization.
