vZelfeR Posted September 19, 2025 Report Posted September 19, 2025 So when driving to the Cayo mansion the other day to go hang out, we got to the entrance and found it's been gated off, restricting access completely. I understand this is for the Cartel, but to have such a large area, where multiple people used to go to chill, date or hang out completely shut off, seems a bit excessive to me. We already have the issue where there is not much to do as a Civilian, and this has just removed even more; to accomodate what I am led to believe is a staff faction, and not even on the Faction forums so there is no RP lore to back any of this or any reason to have this gated off completely. It feels like characters who are not in criminal factions and just want to RP are being constantly restricted more and more, and that things like these are to accomodate staff instead of the player base. I am ranting but honestly I was so disappointed to see this area, which I have spent quite a bit of time at, has been completely shut off. I would suggest, if the faction is set on closing off a whole area of the island, for there to be a replacement area where we can go that is similar; because at this point Cayo now only has the beach where you can go to hang out, rendering the island almost useless for the majority of the server. 1 Quote
SneakySniper Posted September 19, 2025 Report Posted September 19, 2025 +1 Get a property or something, dont cut off Points of interest for most of the server, especially since cayo mansion is the main reason people go to cayo 2 Quote
Snake I Tere I Posted September 19, 2025 Report Posted September 19, 2025 +1, I only like cayo for the mansion, kinda worth even with the massive drop fps there. The mansion represent an RP memory for a lot of people ICLY and restrecting it like this is like cancelling part of their story. 1 Quote

Feels kind of the same as when you check the cuntspin-aus.com leaderboard — you expect variety and fun competition, but suddenly part of the experience feels locked away. It’d be great if these spaces stayed open for more casual and civilian RP too Yes, cutting people off from the island's main spot is not the best idea. Edited September 29, 2025 by KarleyJon 1 Quote
NinerTwoGolf Posted September 19, 2025 Report Posted September 19, 2025 +1 This could also apply to the Cove to. Areas that previously were great for people to hang out, build stories, make memories that have now been gated off or otherwise made inaccessible/hostile. The cove and the mansion marks some of the earliest dates with my now IC Wife, where I was somewhat bored with the server and she came along and showed me all the fun activities and hang outs to do. It's sad we now can't revisit those spots and reminisce. 2 Quote
vZelfeR Posted October 26, 2025 Author Report Posted October 26, 2025 Bumping this... Went to Cayo today and the whole mansion is still blocked off. At a time like this when the server is struggling, the last thing that needs to happen is more restriction of areas, for a staff faction. I mean if it needs to stay locked off as a staff faction, I would love to know why at least? Just for some understanding as to why its needed. (Can't it just be blocked off during the crim leadership meetings?) I would like to add the suggestion of having some of the apartments and villas within the complex as premium buyable holiday homes, it would create quite a nice community and give it a bit more life, although you do run the risk of taking players away from the main island when the player count is struggling, but might be a nice idea for the future when the player count returns. Adding hunting in Cayo would be a nice addition to add some more life onto the island and give people more of a reason to visit the island and buy property if they were to be available. Quote

I also use the app casinolab-magyar.com to improve my skills. I completely agree. The Kayo area has enormous potential, which is currently being wasted. If some of these villas could be bought or rented, the island would become popular again. Edited October 28, 2025 by KarleyJon Quote
vZelfeR Posted November 7, 2025 Author Report Posted November 7, 2025 With a change in Cartel leadership will this be addressed or at least responded to please? Would love a response or justification as to why the cartel needs 3 locations, restricting CIV and locations where players can go. 1 Quote

Jellay Posted November 8, 2025 Report Posted November 8, 2025 Hey guys! I am not sure what to tell you, however the gates have been opened for months now. I am not planning on closing them again. The plan was never to limit other peoples roleplay, however we wanted to create a criminal hub on an island designed to be for criminals. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused! I hope you can enjoy your dates in the mansion again! 1 Quote

Have been about 4 or 5 times over the past couple of months and couldnt move the gates, went today to check and still couldnt open them, clicked to unlock the gates and got the error, as I dont have access, but then they unlocked, so thats unfortunate. This can be archived! Still like the villa apartments suggestion though! Quote
