  3. Absolutely +1. Edit: Unrelated but fix the leaderboards so it shows only the fastest time for each Person/Vehicle pair. Also maybe add a pop up that tells you that run was a new personal best for whichever category.
  4. Something my Faction were chatting about and then it hit like a bolt from the blue: Unordered Races Not a GTA Race type by from the Midnight Club series. A race with common start, a number of check points that you can hit in any order before heading to a finish line.
  5. +1 I like the idea for an option to add betting/stakes to a race. Have an entry fee for people to accept, and that money goes into a pot. You can set the pot to either pay to first place or pay in percentage to the podium winners. Also add the ability to see race rules when invited. Just to see the white/blacklisted classes/cars, if HSW is banned or not, etc.

  7. One I just thought about as I encountered it: A way to search through the POI Blips. Adding so many has been great for the variety but there are 700 of them organized in no particular order.
  8. New Players are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. I'm sure everyone has had, for better or worse, very notable encounters with New Players. I will say the most terrified for my character's safety I've been was when a white Warrener stacked 4 deep with all new players pulled up beside me. And as someone who was there once and still remembers it, I am very fortunate I found someone willing to engage with me and show me what lies in ECRP just under the surface. I will add if you are going to engage with these new players, make sure you are teaching them good habits, and be patient. They are getting hit with a fire hose of information and who knows which RP server they were watching on YouTube before joining Eclipse. Help them get on a path that will keep them around, and not just have them get frustrated or worse, administratively punished.

  10. It's not so much they are shooting you 20 times because they know they can just use /stabilize, but it's the fact they have to shoot you 20 times to keep you from shooting back. The health system is fairly basic. It's hit points, armor, and buffs. When your health reaches zero, it gets temporarily filled in the injured state with a small damage tick. When that reaches zero, you die. Until you are in that injured state, you are just as much a threat to them as someone who is full health. This isn't Tarkov or ACE3. There is no system for abrasions, avulsions, contusion, crushes, cuts, fractures, lacerations, velocity wounds, or punctures. No system for heart rate and blood pressure. No system for blood loss. There is no unconscious state from pain or low heart rate, or low blood pressure. There is no multiple types of bandaging for the different types of wounds, no splints, no tourniquets, no saline, no blood transfusions, no morphine or epinephrine or adenosine injectors to stabilize your patient. It's a game of your health, armor, buffs, and DPS vs their health, armor, buffs, and DPS. First one to zero loses. Neither of you are going to worry about taking a round and bleeding out. Neither of you are going to get shot in the head or neck and that practically be a death sentence. Neither of you are going to flinch from pain and throw off your aim, make you unable to aim accurately, or force you to fumble and drop your weapon entirely. You are going to pump each other full of lead until one of you either runs away or gets injured. /stabilize also isn't instant. It locks you into an animation; one which if a person took to long to get to you, or if someone is a little too zealous with their rounds after you are injured, can take enough of your health you will succumb to the damage. Saw it plenty of times at EMS.
  11. There is actually a depletion system in place. If you use the U menu you get the 'Fishing Zone Info' Where you can see the current fish stock, what fish you can catch, what bonuses you can get, etc. Currently, both the the Del Perro and Paleto Pier don't deplete so I haven't really seen people at others spots. Also haven't investigated enough to see if other spots have different types of fish, I've only ever seen Bass, Salmon, and Tuna. Haven't had the chance to really deep dive this week.
