Forcing people to install applications to secure what should be at most 10% of a person's activity is crazy.

You would be surprised that it is 90% of the activity of some players, with 10% being standing afk at city parking, waiting for the crew to load in.

I say enforce this on them, or atleast as other comments are suggesting to create a staff division to specifically do this on a broader level where they can spectate all those ((New Player)), and low xp players doing the above, or players who are just too good.

(it is still being done afaik, as a cheater has been live banned and we have been refunded items right there and then even though we didn't make a report).

this kind of attitude is why a system like this will never actually be reserved for 0.1% of players suspected of cheating, it will start that way, then eventually it will just be another tool people use to try to get people in trouble because they lost a situation.

right now the tool is making a forum report just to get people in trouble, with something like this, "this cop came to a lab therefore hes pvping a lot I think hes cheating", now he has to install malware or be banned permanently.

Very underrated point.

If we did adopt this. It would not be very long before people started replacing "logs will show..." with "an AC Scan will show..." People would just start demanding it every time they took a hard L and got wiped.

On a personal level i despise cheaters, its about the most selfish thing you can do in a videogame. I am fine with AC so long as it is developed in house.

I will not however be sharing my personal information and/or clicking random links from third party websites to do so. Find another way.

hey Quetthecutie!

I do not reckon your cheating, nor 80% of people that -1'd this suggestion and said they are worried about their privacy. You will not be sharing your personal information with anyone, especially if your not suspected of cheating. You have nothing to worry about! 😄

i have seen echo been used before

i saw someone in fivem get banned for cheating cuz of anti cheat
they used echo to scan his pc and echo said that his cheating

i was sure that he was not cheating cuz i was playing with him

but echo still said that hes cheating

tho he did tell me that he have cheat in csgo and minecraft so maybe that why he was flagged idk

but great idea echo can be good

also i do recommend suspicious players get pc checked as they have no reason do deny a pc check if they are clean esp is way too hard to be detected by anti cheat so echo can help here

but there are ways to also bypass pc checks its using usb for cheats you can instantly unplug your usb when asked for pc check and clean every file that have the cheat idk if this works maybe there will be trace of the cheat still

Major +1

Because most people who cheat in ECRP, Use Astra.RIP and as someone who used it and then got rid of it.
I can say that Echo PC-Scans catch the cheat every single time.
I mean if they get called for pc check they will not object unless they have a Cheat. If they do then you can Ban him if there's enough proof.

It can be used as well for people who have been banned from the server for cheating and if they return they can do a full PC-Check. even if the cheat doesn't show on the the PC check it still shows you what Programs you have runned before launching RageMP, It can also detect Illegal Mods in some case.

Nice suggestion though, will be something very good if they bring it.

If they use a USB it doesn't make a difference because you still have launched that application on the pc it will still flag it and show that a USB has been disconnect before the PC-Check if they have remove the USB before the PC-check.
