Speaker able to play mp3 streams, live radio links

in old Samp rp servers I used to be able to plug in a radio station mp3 link and enjoy the radio with everyone, example link would be: 
play.enrega.com/stream/audio.mp3

I think one of the  reasons this isnt a thing is the same reason you have to pay VIP for longer songs, streaming large files or constant streams that could technically go on for as long as the person is logged in (possibly after if its a static item like a speaker.)  All of it lags and puts strain on the server.

Who is in favor of removing the trees of los angelos type of city to get mp3 file playing possibilites so as not to put too much strain on the server?

Jokes aside everbody i knew and their brothers had the pirated version of GTA:SA from which you still could play SA:MP. What was that like... 2011? everybody had mp3s and stuff.

Now everybody or at least 90% of the server have powerful enough computers to run rage:mp and youtube at the same time and some probably even have spotify/itunes that they have paid for.

Times change, people going legal and non-pirated especially now when gta5 is 10Euros from where im from.
So, OP - get with the times, unc

IF anybody here still listens to mp3 music they have downloaded - i salute your patience and hard work

@Nikolia brother, youve completely missed my point, its not about playing mp3 songs, its about playing LIVE radio stations AKA FM radio that is streamed online, if youve clicked the link in the post you'd know

As for the server strain, it can be implemented P2P, meaning it will be handled on players' end mostly.

Live radio was removed due to a dangerous exploit. P2P introduces the same exploit.

Only thing I wish they did for the car speaker is to change it to use the same source as TV/Cinema. the speaker is SO unstable.

plus I wish I could use soundcloud links on the car speaker as well. from what I can see. the TV's uses w2g.tv as its source. and that allows me to play soundcloud.com links.

 

allowing the use of soundcloud.com link would use less of the servers bandwidth as well. as its just the music file and not a full on video it needs to load. yes its only playing the audio. but its also buffering the audio.
