The Rebels

Summary

The Rebels formed as a way to promote communal living and safety due to the growing corruption within the LSPD whilst also offering safety against the often anarchic gangs roaming Los Santos. The Rebels believe Los Santos is dying. Greed and corruption have taken hold and its citizens are losing their way. Sports cars, parties, drugs and guns have all become commonplace. Lawless gangs roam the streets, corrupt police entrap and oppress citizens and the government does nothing. Those with power sit and watch as gangs gets larger and the police grow more corrupt. The city cannot continue this path. The time for change is now!

The Rebels have their own way of life. They believe in living off the land as much as possible. Hunting, farming and fishing are skills all Rebels poses. Here, The Rebels use their skills to feed themselves, their faction members and anyone who may arrive at The Rebel Camp. When not providing for themselves or others The Rebels often engage in military training, better honing their defensive and offensive capabilities; either as a means to protect The Rebel Camp or to advance territory where needed.

Operating in and around Sandy Shores The Rebels can often be found at Rebel Radio just south of Sandy. This area had always been home to The Rebels leader Pads El. Here the land was open, there was room to breath and it was free from the corruption of the city.

The Rebel Camp

The Rebel Camp has started construction. Here people are free and welcome to visit and find food prepared for them, a place to sleep if needed and protection when necessary. Some of those who arrive just want to escape the city, some want to escape themselves, others are escaping their past, often new to the city and looking for food and shelter; whatever their reason, The Rebels will provide for them where appropriate.

Vehicles and Faction Attire

The Rebels philosophy on greed and corruption can be seen in the vehicles they drive. Sports cars are despised and sports bikes laughable. Instead Trucks, Choppers, Muscle Cars and Dirt Bikes are The Rebels choice of vehicles. You don't need to move fast if you hit hard.

The Rebels wear black. All black with the traditional red Rebel bandana. No shirts, no suits and no gangbanger attire, The Rebels dress for purpose. Tactical and military gear, jeans and combat boots, The Rebels are ready for action, whatever the weather.

Criminal Activity

The Rebels Camp, vehicles, weapons to fight oppression, providing food and shelter to the homeless; they all cost money and sometimes fishing just ain't enough. For this reason, The Rebels have found good money in chopping the cars of those within the city. The Rebels figure these people are rich, have nice apartments and flashy cars and have at some stage played their role in the greed taking over the city. So to The Rebels, these cars are fair game.

The Rebels consider chopping vehicles of the wealthy a lucrative and justifiable form of income and so have decided to expand their operations and now aim to become the largest car chopping faction within Los Santos.

Building Relationships

One by one The Rebels began to build relationships through-out the city. Many foundations had to be laid for what the Rebels had planned.

First a group that immediately caught The Rebels attention was The Empire. They seemed different from the other gangs or business as they called it. More organized and operating as a collective as opposed to the other gang which seemed anarchic and chaotic. The meeting went well and the two groups agreed to mutual deals benefiting both.

The Rebels went their own way with a sense of motivation and passion after their first meeting with the one of the known gangs of Los Santos.

The Police Say Hello

So, turns out, The Rebels have been making some waves on the police radio chatter. Word is starting to spread around as The Rebels member numbers increase and their activity becomes more noticed by the local police force. Its true,, The Rebels have been increasing their criminal activity to gather funds for the Rebel funds. A fund needed to help stop the oppression from gangs and PD.

Pads was taken for interrogation regarding his connection to "The Red Rebels" as the detective called them group. "Well, at least they are not fully informed" Pads thought to himself as he smiled.

Eventually they arrested Pads on a gun trafficking change and Pads served his time. The Rebels however were just happy their name was starting to spread throughout the city.

The Rebel Camp

The Rebel Camp The corruption of the city was never The Rebels way.
They needed to get away from it all
. Immediately work began on constructing The Rebels Camp at the Rebel Radio station. Here First boxes were unloaded with camping supplies. Next tents were erected and each Rebel slept their first night at what would become their home for the foreseeable future. Some of those Rebels who helped initially setup the camp would eventually leave, and go on to other things within the city, such is a rebels way. However many stayed, those that stayed would go on to help cement the foundations of the entire organization.

The Rebels, tired of the chaos in their finances, decided it was finally time to get some professional help. Amidst their secret meetings, chop shop operations and their growing combat readiness, they reached out to an unlikely ally, an accountant. The idea of hiring one seemed absurd at first, but as funds from operations, gun-deals and theft piled up, managing their resources became a problem they couldn't ignore. When Frank, the new accountant arrived with his colleague Corey, they quickly set to work, organizing The Rebels' messy accounts and finding ways to stretch their limited funds. It wasn't the typical rebellion role, but it was just as crucial to their cause because even in a rebellion, order had its place.

Food Supplies

In the chaotic world of Los Santos, The Rebels have transformed abandoned warehouses and open lots into the heart of a growing Rebel Camp. They’ve set up campfires for cooking, using supplies sourced from nearby farms and bartered goods from sympathetic vendors. Makeshift structures and tents provide shelter, while communal areas are crafted for sharing meals and strategizing. Every member pitches in to build and sustain the camp, with some gathering food, others preparing meals, and skilled hands constructing basic amenities. The Rebel Camp is more than just a haven—it's a testament to their resourcefulness and unity in an otherwise hostile city.
