Radio Changes

Im gonna keep it short, I'm a known disliker of the U menu but im aware its something I am just going to have to get used to - with the new radio changes, I agree that it is better in the long run to have a timer to change freqs, but I have spoken to a lot of people and everyone I've spoken with (mostly in the crim community, some in the legal community) agree that 4 seconds is FAR too long. 

Most crims who have binds to go through and check where their gang or friend group is, it can take 2 minutes to swap through all of the freqs, just to find out that none of them are active, when it used to take 20 seconds.

 

My suggestion is to cut that time to 2 seconds, not take it out entirely, as it is just very tedious to deal with 4 seconds. which feels like 4 years each time you change.. (i know im over-exaggerating but most people would agree its obnoxious to deal with)

 

Also, with the U menu being changed and being able to do a WHOLE lot of things, is there a way to script in an UNBIND ALL FREQS option? Obviously this would take some time, maybe 30 seconds to do, but that would be a REALLY good thing to add in to the crim community as bind checking can be life or death for criminals/gangs and with this new menu it just makes it almost impossible to do and go through to EACH NUMBER and change them.

My last thing would be make Bindradio 1 as the first option instead of 0, as universally keyboards have 0 that comes after 9 on the top.

As someone who plays mostly LEO and MD 4 seconds does feel way too long. I think 2 seconds would be perfect

as someone from LEO, i do agree with the radio being 4 seconds is long and not really fair for crims/gangs

+1. Reduce to 2 seconds. Still plenty of time to get tased before you can switch freq but doesn't feel like an eternity to change freq.

I believe we will get used to the U menu after some time, the recent changes of being able to close it more easily have made the U menu easier and better for usage.

I do agree that the time should be shortened when we try to change frequencies as at the end of the day you are inputing 4 digits which shouldn’t take longer than 2 seconds or 2.5 seconds. Perhaps add a key bind combination that would make it possible to open the menu that allows you to open the “change frequency UI” kinda like when you press J and your phone pops up, I don’t mind using the U menu for it or using the inventory option of it but I feel like it would be a good option to have a keybind combination.

I never even thought about this, that would be awesome. Maybe like the equals sign, standard on every computer, not used otherwise. W idea
