Charlie2231 Posted July 26, 2024 Report Posted July 26, 2024 When I've previously been robbing houses the lightest of furniture will weigh 20 vol ( every piece of furniture weighs this amount ), I find this unrealistic as even when I take for example a watch or lamp, it should not weigh the same amount as a desk for example. It's very unrealistic. Quote
Eliza Posted August 7, 2024 Report Posted August 7, 2024 +1, even with the regular furniture now weighing 1 volume. Maybe change scratched furniture to weigh 10 so that you can’t carry essentially a whole house worth of furniture in your pockets, and could still carry more at once. 2 Quote
lupicek Posted August 7, 2024 Report Posted August 7, 2024 +1 It would be defo better to change weights of different types of furniture + I would like to add an option of some price range that would each item have.. for example if you rob a digital clock it could be something like 600-800 dollars, then u have furniture like skull with two big emeralds instead of eyes... this type should be like 2000-4000 dollars... I believe that it could be scriptly balanced, that each house would be same in some sort of price range... Thanks to this it would help ppl to choose what furniture is worth for them to pick and whats not... So more time you rob a house, the better u get in it and you spend less time inside thanks to experience u gathered from houses in past. (As well it would be more realistic... if you are robbing a house, you don't go for simple digital clock) Quote

Cup Posted August 18, 2024 Report Posted August 18, 2024 Linking this to this older suggestion I think it would be a large boost to have variable weights to the furniture items. As was previously stated having a "watch" weigh the same as a tv or a laptop is odd. Quote
Quietthecutie Posted August 18, 2024 Report Posted August 18, 2024 +1 i dont think a watch should weigh as much as 20 lugwrenches. Quote
Bala Posted August 30, 2024 Report Posted August 30, 2024 When I'd done robberies as a solo, this was one of those barriers that made the job less interesting. I'm not sure that each item needs to have indivdual weight because that requires additional balancing but like, 5 volume would be plenty. With an empty inventory, that's what, 10 items? If the items are like handheld items, you could probably carry that many things reasonably. Quote
