Jett_J Posted July 20, 2024 Report Posted July 20, 2024 Idk about everyone else but I was kinda disappointed to find out you can shoot a hostage when using /takehostage. I think it defeats the purpose and it can cause issues because everyone knows in the back of their head that the hostage taker can't actually shoot the hostage in the animation which may either consciously or subconsciously influence behavior. I think the hostage taker should be able to shoot the hostage while in /takehostage and it would be a 1-shot thing where the hostage instantly gets put in the downed state after being shot. This makes hostage situations more serious and realistic. Even if the 1-shot suggestion isn't accepted, shooting should be enabled at a minimum. Quote
