Freyster Posted July 11, 2024 Report Posted July 11, 2024 Depending on the situation, it should be NON-RP, not DM. If I shoot/hit your car, it can be non-RP for some scenarios, but I'm not exactly deathmatching your vehicle. I would love a little change on that considering there are spikes, which count as DM. I don't think it has to be that harsh. If people troll, they should be treated with appropriate rule breaks, but DM is a bit harsh for spikes and hitting/shooting a vehicle if the player is not directly attacked.
Eliza Posted July 11, 2024 Report Posted July 11, 2024 +1 for spikes -1 for shooting at someone in their vehicles to disable it Definitely should depend on circumstance though whether it’s DM or NRP.
Requiem Posted July 17, 2024 Report Posted July 17, 2024 I think the clarification for this is the method being used to attack someone's property. If you shoot at someone's tires, what are the chances a stray bullet hits the vehicle occupant(s)? Or even if the bullet(s) don't hit anyone, what if taking their tire while they are driving at relatively high speeds causes the to crash and get injured. This action is either directly or indirectly causing harm to the other player. It really depends on the circumstances of the situation.
Ranger Posted October 8, 2024 Report Posted October 8, 2024 As it stands our deathmatching rules do not include damaging other player's property to be deathmatching. I do not recall when this came into play as I also remember it being a part of the Deathmatching ruleset, but it is no longer considered Deathmatching and could be considered NonRP via Poor RP depending on the situation.
