The rise of The Shadow Assassins.

 

 

• n the early 1900s, A group of mysterious assassins emerged from the shadows in chicago. These brutal individuals carried out contracted murders with precision and secrecy. Their true faces remained a mystery to all, adding to the aura of fear and conspiracy that surrounded them. Master of lethal arts, they wielded an arsenal with equal fluency and silence, their deadly prowess sharpened through year of unrelenting discipline at the command. They went by “The Shadow Syndicate,” led by “Lord Zeus,” a man of unspeakable power and influence. He trained assassins with deadly weapons ensuring their readiness for lethal missions. Operating in the shadows, they struck fear into anyone who crossed their path. When "Lord Zeus" fell deathly ill, he passed the mantle to his trusted "Hand of the Lord." However, the hand betrayed Zeus and the organization, turning into an informant to avoid imprisonment and exposing “The Shadows” to the law enforcement. Fearing suppression, the syndicate members all ran away and vanished into the depths of the city. Years later, whispers of “The Shadows” returning still circulate among those who remember their reign of terror, hinting at the possible resurgence of their dark and deadly legacy. Even in the modern day, the fear of their return lingers in the hearts of many.

 

The Present

 

After the goblins fell, 2 ex members went back to their hometown due to their warrants for terrorism, murder and trafficking.

While back home, they researched their origin looking for an explanation as to why they feel so drawn towards the dark and found out more than they hoped for.. They were blood descendants of Zeus from "The Shadow Syndicate''.

They felt a strong urge and headed back to Los Santos to re-create "The Shadows".

 

The Shadows were not able to operate like they used to, the modern technology and intelligence from the law made the newly re-created Shadows adapt. You will see them, but don't want to.
They have since then successfully assassinated a Governor and multiple other government employees resulting in 2 Executive orders within the same month and another executive order 3 months later. (Executive order images)

By no means do the Shadows want to be seen as “Terrorists” they are shifting back to their core values by not “bombing” stuff but instead focus on silent kidnappings and assassinations on those who deserve it.

After almost a year of operating in Los Santos it became clear that the leader was becoming a “mad king” resulting in the other members overthrowing him to take control and revert to their core values, the leader willingly stepped down but not before he severely injured 2 well known and respected Shadow members.

Now the Shadows are back at focusing their resources towards gathering information about government employees and taking out those that deserve it to push the balance in the right direction.
The Shadows do not care for fighting other criminal organisations as long as they dont stand in their way of their true objectives.

  1 Get a legal business run by The Shadows.
  2 Maintain a solid flow of income to fund our fights and armoury.
  3 Eliminate corrupt government employees.
  4 Keep control of our turf at all costs.
  5 Impact the government from the shadows to make the city a fairer place

Aspiring to take down the government, 

a corrupt governor placed himself in the eyes of The Shadows when he made himself their 
perfect target. threatening our leader with the words "The Shadows will be disbanded within 48 hours" he gave us enough reason to put an end to his life. There was a club 
opening on a Friday night, it seemed like the perfect opportunity for us to take care of business as it was public knowledge that the governor liked being at parties.
The Shadows showed up with guns to such a public place caused a big uproar and our attempt did not go quite as we had anticipated.
We had an executive order put out against us which only fuelled our anger.

This had made The Shadows suppressed by the government and the governors abuse of power but that didn't stop us. Another opportunity appeared for us to take him down during an event at the petting zoo. We made it clear that we did not want to harm any innocent life but we were also determined to do whatever it takes to take down the root of our problems. Highly guarded, the governor was escorted to the event by his security in a helicopter. We spread out around the area keeping watch of him at all times.
This time we have come well prepared with some special equipment that would definitely get the point across that no one messes with The Shadows and that we would not back down under any circumstances. Sneaking our way 
towards his helicopter we managed to plant C4 for it waiting for our moment to blow things up. He once again barely managed to get away with his life but now the entire city was on high alert. We were running out of options and knew we had to put a stop to this fast.
Highly aware of our plans we had to come up with an idea that would keep us out of the public eye. We knew this would be our last chance. On a late Saturday night word spread through the city that an organization known as Underground was holding a bomb at Mission row. showing up without any intentions things took a turn in our favor. With everyone being focused with the threatening situation police were distracted and government agents had let their guard down for only a split moment. When a high command member of the shadows took it upon him to follow the governor inside of Mission row and hold a gun to his head.
Unnoticed we escorted him out of the back and took him into a dark alley. Against everyone's expectations we have managed to achieve something that the city has not seen before and now there was only one thing left to do.
Fearing his life he dropped to his knees 
begging us to let him live. Left cold by the sight of him there was one more thing we needed to hear from him, three words.
Shadows on top.
Usually we operate out of sight but this time was different. This was a huge win for the criminals of the city. At this point the entire police department was desperately searching for the governor but it was already to late. We have brought his lifeless body to the exact spot he has been seen last. The steps of MRPD. Filled with pride everyone got to see who we are and what we do. This is the biggest achievement against the corruption of the 
government to date and one thing was for sure:
Nobody is going to bring down

The Massacre

It all started with high suppression for the organization known as "The Shadows". They held a property worth three million dollars, that they called their headquarters. But the 
property got seized when the authorities, including Attorney General Hope Kant raided the estate, even after finding nothing. The property was seized, leaving The Shadows enraged.

The Ex Leader of the shadows called an emergency meeting with the command team. Everyone angry and not knowing what to do, the ex leader said "We cannot let this stand, they think they can take what is our, we will remind them who we are." After hours of intense planning, multiple meetings and gathering all of their members, they devised a plan to attack the governmewnt building, because there would be a press coference held later that day, where they talk about the seizure of the property, the goal was to send a clear message "The Shadows Were not to be fucked with" The city, unaware of the impending chaos, the shadows all gathered with heavy weaponary, after scouting out the government building the whole day, disguised as members of the public, while hiding in the shadows, the press conference had started.

The Shadows shouted and warned everyone of the impending attack, so civilians can escape, but the coordinated attack began. Panic ensued as automatic gunfire was heard. All the police scouts were taken out quietly, before they could start helping. The Shadows aiming for their targets that were carefully selected. Their aim was not just to cause destruction but to make sure they killed the right people.
After more police units arrived, engaging The Shadows in a fierce firefight. The whole 
government building block got turned into a warzone. Despite their precise planning, The Shadows found themselves outnumbered and outgunned. The authorities were too much to handle. In the end. The Shadows lay defeated, their members captured or killed. The civilians were scarred after seeing the blood bath, but...this won't be the last time you hear from The Shadows.

Kidnapping Attorney General

 

After the massacre at City hall Hope Kant remained one of The Shadows high value targets.
They spent days looking for the perfect opportunity to find her security slacking for just one moment...

But The Shadows have been just as alert as her security.
Having members scouting the city for her at all times it was only a matter of time that we would get a hold of her.

A small circle of us met up in an alley way behind the bank after she had been spotted in the city.
Not knowing if their radio frequency has been compromised they had to come up with an idea in person in order to execute it before being stopped and they had to come up with it fast.

They set up an unsuspicious code word that allowed them to call out her location over radio without any possible officers that could have gotten hold of their freq onto what is going down.

They had only just left the alley when SK called out that she was in fact right outside of the bank.
She was chatting with a citizen that was asking her for money.

Not seeing the incoming danger her security didn't see they had just put her life at risk.
All of the present member pulled up with whatever weaponry they had one them at the time.
It all happened within a matter of seconds.
Anthon and Zoe forced her under gunpoint into the trunk of his car driving her up north to an abandoned trailer.

Now it was our turn to get revenge for seizing their property.

The plan was to make her suffer for her actions but all of PD has been alarmed that Hope Kant has been taken by us in broad daylight.

Hearing sirens come closer Zoe urged him  "You have to do it now." as her eyes darkened filled with hatred. 

Put on her knees she had been executed right there as a bullet pierced her skull.

Leaning over her lifeless body Zoe opened her switchblade revealing her shoulder, digging the blade into her flesh she carved an "S" into her back.
Everyone was about to witness why we were not to be messed with.
Loading her corpse back into the trunk we were running from police but not to avoid being arrested.
We had a special delivery to drop off first...

Taking her body to city hall we had shown the government once again what happened when you take action against The Shadows and no amount of security and investigative pressure can stop us from getting what we want because we will strike when nobody expects it until then we will lurk in the shadows...

 Shadow Funds "The Shadows" being known for doing one of the hardest things in the city, "Deal with corruption" needed a way to fund their fights. This ain't a cheap endeavor, many times the job can go sideways, and unwanted shootouts will happen with both sides taking losses, so what can they do? "The Shadows" has its own divisions for people focusing on certain ways to generate an income. Spread out amongst different categories to reduce the risk. "The Mechanics" During shady hours, some of the best mechanics gather around, supported by their "picker" who has to be nimble and fast with incredible driving skills. The "Picker" will look around for valuable cars located in unprotected areas, and then take said cars to a private area. The mechanics will be waiting there with their tools to quickly take the cars apart. They have to be careful though, any damage to the parts will significantly reduce the value of the parts, so only the best and most trusted get the chance to be a part of this. "The Chefs" The Chef department focuses on cooking and baking. Well, it's more like getting people cooked and baked. They are known within the organization for their high intelligence when it comes to mixing ingredients to make the best and strongest illegal foods. "The Money Men" Cash! Just straight-up hard cash! What can beat it? NOTHING! These members love the thrill! The chase! The adrenaline caused by the fact that at any moment they could be caught. Robbing a store? No problem! Aim a gun at the owner's head and start grabbing boys! What about a bank? More danger? Fuck yes, let's do it! "Ice cream" You want some ice cream with extra sprinkles? We got ya! Be careful though, these ice creams have a lot of punch, and those sprinkles will go right through what you're aiming at! Due to the modern times being what they are, the shadows have become obsessed with guns. Using them, buying them, but also selling them. All of these are ways for shadows to generate an income to fund what they do best. Eliminate corruption!

Posting to life invader using vpns to mask the true poster, the shadows had directly threatened the government. Calling for the government to finalize the indictment, and to bring mike luigi to justice, they gave the government a week to do so. The post was seen by everyone, gaining over 4k views on life invader in about 3 days. The Shadows knew the government had to have seen this, the week went quickly forcing the shadows to decide what to do. Planning to go psychological. They decided they needed to start simple, they couldnt just attack the government or mike luigi directly just yet. they had to start putting pressure on the government though. Elvi remembered a particular item he had stored for a moment like this, placing the item in his glove box along with a note he had written up, he planned to place them on the fountain inside the government building, but doing this un-noticed came with some struggle he waited for the perfect opportunity but couldnt find it, he then picked up john and told him his plan, john was game.Heading to the government building john hid the items. When they arrived, john ran straight in, realizing a cop was standing at the stairs john ran out and laid down in a bush,

pretending to sleep. the cop wouldnt leave, so john called out on radio asking elvi to shoot around the area to see if they could get the cop to leave, elvi shot in 3 different locations but the cop wouldnt leave.They had to try again later. Later that day elvi managed to slip into the 

government building unseen, this was the perfect opportunity for him to place his items for the government to discover, with the items being a severed finger and the note he had made. This will start the psychological mind games he thought to himself as he place the items and slipped out still undetected…

In broad daylight, right in front of City Hall, The Shadows, a secretive and ruthless organization, set their plan into motion to kidnap Molly Devil, a high-ranking government official. Molly had infuriated them by impersonating a member of The Shadows under the alias "Heidi Vespucci."

Days before the kidnapping, The Shadows tried to lure Molly out of City Hall, which was under lockdown, by setting up a vegan taco truck outside. They hoped the food might entice her to leave the building, but their scheme failed to draw her out. When their initial attempt proved futile, they escalated their plan. Anthon, a low-command member of The Shadows, and his team decided to take action. They seized Nick Hightown, a nearby associate, as a hostage and used him to force their way into City Hall. Their goal was to create a crisis that would compel Molly to come out. The situation quickly drew the attention of SWAT teams, who rushed to the scene.

In the midst of the chaos, police reported that Molly, overwhelmed by stress, was unconscious throughout the incident. Due to those circumstances their plan was foiled and they were rushed not long after and all the criminals were taken to DOC.

After long days of waiting they had noticed Molly outside City Hall and took to action really fast, kidnapping Molly and her government appointed bodyguard swiftly without anyone realising, Molly was moved to an undisclosed location by Anthon and the bodyguard was taken somewhere else. Once there, they cut her hair and coerced her into recording a public apology. The footage, showing her in tears and begging for forgiveness, was swiftly posted online, creating a media frenzy.

Molly’s captivity lasted only a couple of hours before she was released. Despite the brief duration, the public humiliation significantly impacted her reputation.

After her release, Molly and Anthon maintained secret communication through love letters, facilitated by a trusted intermediary. Though their relationship had begun under strained circumstances, it deepened over time.

When The Shadows discovered their relationship, they chose not to oppose it. Instead, they welcomed Molly, recognizing the value of her insights, though she remained outside their organization.

Before their wedding, tensions flared between Molly and Anthon’s brother, John Chapel, a high-command member of The Shadows. In a public confrontation, John questioned Molly’s loyalty and her place within their world. Molly responded by brandishing a golf club and threatening John, who then pulled out a gun, leading to a tense standoff. The situation was resolved when Anthon intervened, diffusing the confrontation.

Despite the dramatic events and ongoing challenges, Molly and Anthon moved forward with their lives. Molly left her government position and married Anthon, taking his last name, Chapel. Although she did not join The Shadows, she supported Anthon and adapted to her new life. Their bond endured, navigating the complexities of their unique situation.

The ScrapRace

During the end of one of their meetings a Shadow member called out that it was time to have some innocent good old fun again.
The guys came up with the idea to have a ScrapRace around legion square, 10 laps, whoever finishes first wins & cops or no cops, KEEP DRIVING!

8 members agreed to join the race.
They got their scrap cars, went to Benny's and made sure all them engines could actually hold on for atleast 10 laps.

The racers lined up and a countdown began... GO!

Immediately after the first lap multiple PD units showed up and gave chase. After 2 laps everyone was being chased, pitted and rammed by PD units to get off the road and stop racing, but nobody did.
Everyone kept their foot on their gas pedals and they kept on going, lap after lap after lap.

A few had to pull out and try to evade while some were already stalled and being arrested. In the end, only a pew made it through all 10 laps, 5 members got arrested and 1 got killed in action.

After the 5 members got arrested, they were taken to the LSPD where they were put in a cell temporarily.
1 by 1 they were taken out and put in a separate room where they had to strip down to their underwear to get photographed. Jason sure loved to hold his Baton during this. xD

John Chapel was driving around Gangmas Terminus with plans set for the day when a mail carrier decided to change those plans. The mail carrier decided to hit the terminus and start to shit talk John, who shit talked right back slowly escalating this into threats if it happened again. The mail carrier decided to pull off after this threat and slam down a cop in the middle of a traffic stop. John then pulled up on this cop and asked “Officer are you okay, do you want me to shoot him”, Yes shoot him, the officer replied.

 

John Chased the guy all around trying to get him to stop, shouting if he didnt he would be shot, this must have angered the mail carrier as he rammed the Terminus, The mail carrier spun out trying to get away, this gave john the opportunity to hop out and pop shots, with the cop directly behind them still on a traffic stop. The mail carrier drove away losing John for around 5 seconds before being seen and hopping out of his truck to attempt to hide, only john had seen him and followed, after killing the mail carrier john went to the cop, and told the cop “hes dead, i didn't see you you didn't see me”

Mind Games Pt. 2 Shadows had made their threat to remove Mike Luigi from his position within LSPD. Weeks passed, and there had been no response or progress on the court case. There had been no suspension or termination made for Mike Luigi. LSPD did not take our threat seriously, so we planned on making it severe. Billy Pappalardo had an idea. He called in John Chapel and explained the plan. The two spent several hours running errands around the state, collecting specific ingredients. The goal? Build a bomb to make LSPD understand the threat was severe. They made several trips to Humane Labs, picking up various chemicals. They also broke into a building at Pauls Farm to steal a big bag of fertilizer. Billy and John cooked up a nasty mix of chemicals and prepared the two improvised explosive devices. The final touch? Mix industrial bleach with ammonia to fill each bomb with chloramine gas. Things would get nasty if SWAT failed to disarm the bombs. Billy donned his Shadows gear, along with John Chapel and Doris Westerpegthorp, and visited MRPD. We set a note with our demands. The bomb had been planted. Billy, John, and Doris sat back to watch the show. A small crowd formed, Weasel News showed up, and LSPD locked down the area. Radio jammers were set up, shutting down all communication around MRPD. A member of the Bomb Squad eventually managed to disarm the bomb. The message was sent loud and clear. Do not underestimate the shadows. We are coming for Mike Luigi.

Shadows have been working towards some long-term goals but have kept coming up a few hands short. Our new initiative has been pushing recruitment, looking to find like-minded individuals with the same goals who we can mold into influential shadow members.

Shadow's in-depth recruitment process requires constant supervision to gauge recruits' goals, intentions, and capabilities. Command keeps high standards and expects the best from anyone interested in becoming a shadow. 

Effectively, it's an in-depth vibe check. So far, things have been working out quite well for the recruits.

We keep them busy and reward them for their efforts. Our connections are happy with the constant flow of illicit goods, providing us with what we need to influence what we want and pressure whoever we please.

They've proven that they're willing to push when needed and deal with anything that comes up against us

The Shadows keep to themselves and don't bother getting involved in petty fights between your typical lowlife street gangs. When one of those gangs gets the bright idea to fuck around, The shadows will make sure they find out. [REDACTED], our local coke-riddled gambling addicts, attempted an assassination on a high-command member of The Shadows. The attempt failed. John Chapel offered an out to the [REDACTED]; he wanted a pinky finger of the command member who was involved in the assassination attempt. This request fell on deaf ears and was ignored in an apparent show of disrespect. The Shadows were not going to let this go lightly. A low-ranking member of [REDACTED] was spotted alone, so we took the opportunity to grab him. Quickly and quietly, he was taken, transported to a remote location, robbed, shaved, and given a message to send to his high command. The Shadows are coming for you. Some time had passed, and the threat seemed to scare off the [REDACTED]. Then, one early morning, John and Frankie, doing their rounds, came across several spray paint tags within our territory and on our dealers. The [REDACTED] had decided to retaliate. The Shadows responded in kind. Sneaking up in the night and hopping the fence of the [REDACTED] home, we spray painted all over their property. Not wanting to get into a petty graffiti war, the Shadows decided to escalate the issue once again. Another [REDACTED] member was seen working his day job at Burgershot. Not letting the opportunity go to waste, he was also quickly picked up and kidnapped. He was taken to a secret location, where John Chapel went to work on his new subject. The [REDACTED] was forced onto his knees at gunpoint. John explained why this was happening to him, "Your High Command refused to pay in blood for the actions they took against me, so now you will pay in blood, along with every single one of your members, until I get what I am owed!" John then took his pocket knife and cleanly cut an "S" deeply into the man's back, scaring him with the Shadows emblem. "I am John Chapel, let your leadership know who's doing this, and that I am coming for them." John grinned as he cut the man. The [REDACTED] was dumped off in a back alley near Burgershot. Wounded and humiliated, he now had the decision to inform his organization of what happened. Would the message get through? Would [REDACTED] retaliate? How many more bodies will The Shadows need stack up before [REDACTED] give in? [/spoiler]

Disrespect The leaders of "The Shadows" are known to be patient and forgiving, but only when earned. Shadows #1 is big on "Respect." He gives but also expects. When respect is not given, you will know.

 

A perfect example happened while "The Shadows" were waiting for a meeting. The shadows brought a prospect who finally found her way to navigate and find the organization. Some of the newer members were running around having fun until the prospect decided to slam into #1 and tackle him. This was a big sign of disrespect in the eyes of #1, to which he responded, "Strike 1, tackle me again, and I will shoot you". The prospect tried again but failed. #2 knew what was about to happen and said, "Uh oh, I'm getting away from here." #1 reached for his gun, only to find out he still left it on his bike. He left it there on purpose as he sees bringing a firearm to a meeting as a sign of disrespect. He quickly ran to his bike and grabbed his pistol from under his saddle, only to be unexpectedly thrown to the ground again by the same prospect. He aimed his gun and yelled out her name, but she started to run away laughing. "Prospect! I am not joking! Stop! right now!"

 

The prospect stood still. #1 explained to her in a deep and solemn tone that this was a matter of respect; if she would tackle him again, he would kill her. The prospect started laughing and walked away, telling him she would tackle him again. Pop, pop, pop! 3 shots were fired. Once they got as much as they felt comfortable with picking, they knew it was time to go our separate ways, as Johnny left the plantation, he thought to himself “hmm that was easy…. too easy.” “I think it’s time I get a real operation going”

the shadows have been staying quiet, biding their time, and working towards influencing government and other organizations from behind the scenes. many seeds planted have come to fruition, and every step along the way has created new income streams for the organization. Due to the shadows connection with the cartel becoming stronger The shadows have gained access to import military grade weapons, primarily the Combat Machinegun Mk2, a 7.62mm light machine gun. Several of los santos's largest organizations have shown keen interest in acquiring this new powerful weapon to use, and seeing an easy opportunity to seed chaos and make a buck at the same time, The shadows have gladly obliged in making these weapons easily available.[/spoiler]

At Johns court case shane said some words about a fellow member in a joking way, and John decided to tell said member what was said, despite numerous warnings from shane both over the phone and in person. Once shane knew john had told, shane set his mind on grabbing john to scare him. After weeks Shane finally invited john to a wedding, this would be his chance, shane told john he would like to squash everything and move on, john agreed but shane had other plans,  they soon went to hang out at taco, where shanes plan went into motion, quickly getting john to get his hands up and telling him to drop everything and get into the trunk, they were off as quickly as it started, once to a remote location shane threatened john but didnt want to kill him, simply saying “actions have consequences” before letting john go and taking him back to taco, then selling john the weapons just used to kidnap him. John needed revenge, the next day john called shane to thank him for the weapon, shane none the wiser told john where he was and that they should hang, it was on. John and 3 other shadows pushed burgershot with one motive, grab shane and get out of here. Quickly shane was grabbed and thrown into a trunk, and everyone cleared the scene, John took shane to the Red Woods Race Track, telling him throughout the whole drive “remember actions have consequences” after about 10 minutes at the track they were done, shane had been threatened to stay  away and not try such actions again, and in a sign of good faith, John called Lewis Langley, simply saying “I kidnapped your boyfriend, hes at the redwood racetrack” then hung up, causing a statewide manhunt for john….

 My old friends the Shadows have welcomed me back. My time with the elderly continues in the background but there are still things that need to be done and corrupt officials to take down. John Chapel welcomed me back with open arms into my old rank. As the Shadows Gangma I demand respect at all times, a point I proved to a new recruit who showed disrespect. I may have just walked through the door, and you may be trying to play for my team, but no one disrespects Gangma and gets away with it. I left the prospect for dead in the road to be saved by a medic. Good luck, little prospect. But you don’t belong in the shadows for as long as Gangma is here.

While planning their next moves, a member on freq outside of the apartment got kidnapped by a rival gang and another scout outside called it out, this confused the shadows inside but then they heard a voice on freq

Voice - I cant lie, we've got one of you're guys right now man. 

Elvi - Whats the bounty at now? 

Voice - its a high bounty right now 

John - lets get this straight, you guys aren't willing to fight this? you guys are going to stoop this low to take the bribe? 

Elvi - the thing is, you are backing a corrupt governor right now. 

Voice - The governor does a lot for me man, he's corrupt for me. I gain a lot for this guy being corrupt 

Elvi - you have to have a good understanding of what it will cost you to get his help 

Voice - the things that we get offered, they're really good for us. 

John - Type shit, come get it in blood then bitch.

a long debate/argument was had over the radio, where John bartered with his life with RJ Nolan. eventually a shaky truce was brokered, where John agreed to offer himself as bait for langley, where The Person  would then show Langley that John was in his possession, then both Their Gang and Shadows could jump and take down langley and his guards. They agreed to have the bait set up at the airport, so the shadows followed, Once Arriving to the entrance the story would change,,,

The shadows have been getting more active around the city, this comes with a recruitment push that has been doing very well.

The shadows have even had a meeting with the only gang they were beefing with

But even with recruitment going well internal members had started becoming disrespectful and had to be handled.

They also finally got a shipment in of their own hats

With this, day to day the shadows grow stronger in both numbers and guns
