ENVY - Est. January ‘23

ABOUT US

Past: It started with a handful of people who shared a common love for racing. When some of the old founders of Mirror Park Tuning decided to revamp their glory days, not one of them ever thought ENVY would become something more than a hobby but nights spent at Observatory and Vineyard quickly morphed into something more. Word was spreading a group of skilled drivers was bringing back the race scene and before they knew it, everywhere they went someone was asking to be invited to the next round.

It was only a few months before what was once a few cars became dozens and soon, ENVY was holding race nights through the city that wreaked havoc. Whether or not they wanted to be, their members were now known by law enforcement and they found themselves at a crossroads. They could scale back and return to small events or, on the heels of their new found notoriety, adjust how they operated and become something more. Mechanic repairs and new cars were expensive, after all, and though many of their members held legal positions, the adrenaline rush of pursuits had given them the taste of a thrill they were willing to give it all up for.

Within a year, most who held high ranking legal jobs had been terminated or resigned and along the way they’d managed to pull together a group of people who all considered themselves adrenaline junkies.

Now, they just had to find a way to fund their lifestyle without the government.

Present: With failsafe funding brought by their multi-million dollar company Kateus Holdings and ENVY’s two nightclubs, Periscope and Cix, members of ENVY have shifted their focus from cash flows legitimized by countless forged documents to more dangerous endeavors. While their flagship building, Club Cix, continues to open once a month or so to boost their treasury, most of ENVY’s time is spent securing their position in the industrial area. Chopping cars is their biggest obsession, with its members adamant they can find a way to capitalize on the excess parts they store within their multiple properties scattered across the state. Still feeling the fallout from their raucous beginnings, being able to successfully evade has become a trademark of ENVY and as such, every one of its members is taught from day one an ever growing list of evasive maneuvers and provided ongoing training with call outs, driving tactics, and the ability to drive any one of the vehicles purchased by the organization since its inception. When not chopping or escaping from their most recent pursuit, ENVY continues to reinvent and cement the race scene within Los Santos. Gone are the days of mass race nights weekly that drew endless law enforcement attention. In their place is a website that serves as ENVY’s gospel - CMXCIX. Buried underneath passwords and unmapped pages, access to CMXCIX will bring with it time trials for ENVY’s favorite tracks, maps of newly created tracks, and ways to keep the thrill alive while also serving as a training guide for newer members.

FIND US

Location: Industrial
Centralized at 11 Popular St, ENVY focuses its foothold in the city in the nearby areas. While not often standing still anywhere due to their love of being on the move, during their downtime ENVY can often be found in the club’s parking lot.

Colors: Members of ENVY can be found driving cars of any color and wearing nearly anything; however one thing never changes. Vibrant, neon greens light their cars and a piece of clothing is worn to mimic the same hues. Most opt to wear bracelets or shoes that glow neon green as homage to their prized possessions.

Notorious for their neon-lit cars, ENVY relies on its fleet of vehicles for mobility regardless of the situation. Cars are their primary mode of transport and only when circumstances leave them no alternative do they resort to other means of transportation.

CHOPPING

Expect to get your hands dirty. Car enthusiasts, ENVY’s primary criminal activity is chopping cars. Whether it be selling stolen parts to citizens for cheaper repairs than the local mechanics or helping their relations keep their ends of a business deal, ENVY has become a powerhouse of chopping and known for their large stockpile.

RACING
Time trials, creating new tracks, testing our abilities with random car assignments to random people, and running old tracks - ENVY does it all. Our CMXCIX website serves as a snapshot for the best drivers in the organization and everyone is vying for the top spot. We spend our free time practicing our driving skills so when push comes to shove, we’re ready.

EVASION
Lights and sirens mean it’s go time and ENVY prides itself on being the best of the best. When the time comes, members have undergone several trials to prove their capabilities and have learned a multitude of tricks - including call out training during games of follow the leader throughout the city. We don’t need to shoot to get away- when things get sticky, we use confusion tactics and other “borrowed” tools from law enforcement.

THE IN BETWEEN
In ENVY, loyalty is paramount. While our primary focuses drive our core activities, it’s not uncommon to find our members dabbling in anything exciting. Whether it's cruising in their favorite cars, serving as skilled getaway drivers or a distraction for close allied organizations, experimenting with cooking, or enjoying time together as a close-knit group, ENVY thrives on a shared experience as one rather than individuals with different morals. ENVY's essence lies not in striving to be the biggest and baddest, but creating memorable moments or in the excitement of pursuits.

THE CODE

Of Conduct
> Our cars are our lifeline. Treat them with the respect they deserve and use them unless you have no other choice.
> If you can’t escape a pursuit without shooting a cop, take the L. We don’t need more attention. > Don’t take yourself so seriously. Life’s too short to worry about pettiness and ego.
> If someone wrongs you, differences will be sorted on the track where applicable.
> Our time trials are sacred and times must be verified by a second party.
> Keep your racing clean. Cheating or purposefully sabotaging another’s track is a punishable offense.
> Think before you act. Every action has a consequence.
> What you do on your own time is yours. If your actions cause an issue for ENVY, expect to answer to the founders.
> Keep it fun.

Of Conflict

> Meetings happen before any hostility.
> Those who choose to antagonize aren’t worth our time.
> Trust nothing and no one outside of ENVY during times of conflict.
> Death is not a punishment.
> Reckless actions lead to mistakes.

GOALS
> Continue hosting both legal and illegal events to fund the organization and provide community experience
> Establish a way to capitalize on our stockpile of chopped parts outside of selling to dealers Cement their position as the stronghold in the city of Los Santos for all things chopping Continue to fine tune our skills as drivers utilizing all tools at our disposal
> Cement our names as the go to drivers for other criminal organizations
> Continue to create and innovate new ways of racing to keep the thrill alive

Completed
> Furnish and finish Periscope and Cix to open as a nightclub on a regular schedule as a foundation for funding the organization and a networking tool to re-enter the criminal world of Los Santos
> Revive the racing scene at night, establishing a presence within the city of Los Santos as the ones to go to for any driving needs
> Set up an encrypted website with password protection that members can use to access the tracks that ENVY uses on a regular basis

OOC EXPECTATIONS
> While there is no XP minimum requirement, players are expected to pass an OOC test prior to being able to proceed ICly as an outsider and have no punishments in the last 30 days.
> ENVY focuses heavily on longterm, organic storylines outside of PVP.
> Members of ENVY are expected to follow the rules of the server at all times.
> Negativity and toxicity regarding other players and factions, regardless of where it takes place, will not be tolerated.
> ENVY self limits. Just because something may be available to us or because something is typically done one way, we have strict OOC and IC policies to hold us to our own lore.
> ENVY operates primarily in the OCE timezone and players must be able to attend RP opportunities and be active during these hours.
> ENVY operates on a 3 strike system before faction removal. Any accepted reports or failure to follow ENVY policies regarding negativity, lore, etc. will result in a strike that expires after 90 days

JOIN US

The first trial you’ll be tasked with is arguably the easiest. With the help of your future organization,
you’re asked to chop a car in its entirety from start to finish as we scout the area. You’ll be given full
control over the operation - location choice, placing of people, and call outs if the situation goes
south.

You’ll be tested on knowledge of skillfully dismantling the cars to ensure resale value isn’t damaged
and asked to provide us with the parts retrieved.

Eventually, you’ll be looped in to the various chopping locations ENVY has chosen to rely upon
throughout the course of its existence and granted access to the multitude of stash houses they
maintain to keep their inventory full but for now, you’ll be given the cash payout from one of our
associates for a job well done.

Remember what you learn during this trial. Your knowledge and capabilities will be tested
throughout your time in ENVY.

The second trial tests your ability to remain cool under pressure. It’s no secret ENVY spend much of its
free time both racing existing and creating new tracks and while we don’t expect you to be an
expert driver from the start, you need to prove yourself before being welcomed in.

You’ll be tasked with racing the [REDACTED] track and hitting a certain time. If it’s your first time
racing, you’re probably going to struggle. ENVY members will help with tips and tricks and you’ll be
given the opportunity to drive a multitude of cars including your favorite in an attempt to pass.

CMXCIX Racing is at ENVY’s core, some may even say it’s bread and butter. As ENVY began to develop as a street gang, their need to store and record not only the tracks they were racing but also the times they were setting. As a group that treated competition as the be-all and end-all it was crucial for the group to develop a secure way of recording this information, but also preventing it from allowing Law Enforcement or unintended individuals from finding out more about ENVY then they needed to know. ENVY’s solution? CMXCIX. CMXCIX is ENVY’s custom-made made website that stores the keys to the kingdom.CMX requires a unique password to enter the website, upon which racers are greeted with ENVY’s database of time trials, track maps and access to additional to a plethora of tactics used by the group. The track records are plagued with links to each track that ENVY has determined to be competitive for time trials and further exploring reveals how the leaderboards stand. Time trials are available and open to everyone, in fact ENVY encourages people from other backgrounds to challenge the gauntlet of their times. Groups are encouraged and represented by their colours on the website, although ENVY ensures to dominate the top of the timesheets. ENVY’s track database also contains a plethora of tracks of the various racing formats that they participate in, from their standard circuit tracks to their offroad or endurance tracks that are all custom made by ENVY members. Every track contains a clear indication of the track and their starting points.

ENVY

Deep within one of ENVY’s buildings stands their living monument to their successful evasions - the LEO wall of shame. Every time a member successfully evades, ENVY place a totem of their choosing in the small room to represent their growing success.

Club Cix openings and raffles for the past year and a half help pad their pockets and keep their undying love of new cars afloat. With the likes of Dj Sammy and the reputation of the club, each opening rakes in millions for treasury that help pay fines members of ENVY accrue during their time racing the streets.

A meticulous order system  keeps their order policies enforced. Most in Los Santos are unaware ENVY even has the ability to bring in guns, and they have no intention of changing that. Trust no one, and don’t arm those with no loyalty is a phrase they live by.

A NEW BUSY

In between the regular rotation of their usual activities, ENVY had spent the last week meeting with several organizations wishing to grow or strike up business partnerships. Very little came from it ultimately - it seemed in the city of Los Santos the main desire was weaponry and despite a few generous offers nothing had yet been brought to the table that convinced them to open the doors for some of their select inventory.

Instead, they focused on preparing for the wedding of one of their own and the upcoming league race while simultaneously building up the new property they’d been provided and relocating within industrial to make room for their newest neighbours. There was much work to be done and most of their time was spent practising with the designated car for the league, securing the necessary merchandise to sweet talk their new business associates, and planning for their next events once the league was completed.

ENVY CHAOS MONTH
Starting September 1st

The last week of August was spent preparing for the last official month of summer. Before fall brought with it colder temperatures and icy roads with the inevitable snow, Luca wanted to finish the season off with a bang. The idea had been on his mind for weeks now - coupling their previous Blacklist Event with a crash course test of all their recent trainings to bring Chaos Month to ENVY.

The concept was simple. Defined events would grant the participant a certain number of points, with points exponentially increasing the more dangerous the situation. The only caveat? Members were going to be tasked with recording certain aspects of their participation for reasons that were yet to be explained to anyone beyond Command.

ENVY ESPIONAGE Sammy's Espionage With Luca and Jackie away for a honeymoon, Jamie and Sammy stepped up to run the organization. While Jamie focused on running the operations of the groups daily activities, Sammy stepped up to assist with running the background operations. Several meetings were had that week with various other organizations in the city - from new potential relations to old and battered ones - and by the time all was said and done, the members of ENVY walked away pleased with their new directions. Sammy would be the backbone to Jamie’s temporary reign, ensuring past conflicts were resolved and future relations maintained if not reinforced.

It was another typical day for the members of ENVY, with Bongo working at Benny’s and spending his free time racing alongside his friends, until Luca approached him with an intriguing proposition: [REDACTED] wanted to meet at the Docks for an important discussion. Historically, these meetings always came with interesting news, so as Bongo, Luca, and Mica made their way to the meeting point to meet [REDACTED], they spoke excitedly about what was to come. He was already there by the time the three arrived and conversations happened quickly - [REDACTED] had just opened a new drug lab and ENVY was being tasked with testing out the equipment, ensuring everything was up to standard. Despite their primary focus being racing, Bongo and Mica were no strangers to a lab. When it came to crafting drugs, they were meticulous and had never failed to create quality product. When [REDACTED] left, the three quickly devised a plan on how they would keep the operation under wraps and secretive until such a time the powers that be were ready to publicize the new location. Step One: Take a truck to Humane to gather the necessary chemicals Step Two: Station a boat at the garbage dock for transporting the goods Step Three: Discreetly ferry the boat to and from the lab with the required materials It took only a few hours to determine the new location would be profitable - vials and packages of product were crafted and moved swiftly. By the time Bongo’s sister, Ash, woke up the operation was already in full swing and she jumped on the opportunity to join. [REDACTED] checked in 24 hours later and he was impressed with the group’s efficiency. Members of ENVY were told he’d be spreading the word to other organizations within the city within the next 24 but by the time it would arrive, ENVY had an impressive stockpile in hand ready to be distributed to their various associates in the industrial area. 13 evasions 2 top time trial beat

Business
Luca and Jamie spent the week dealing with other organizations and handling the incoming business. Where meetings were held with REDACTED, REDACTED, and REDACTED to talk about potential relations and find ways the organizations could enter into a mutually beneficial partnership, various members of ENVY were assigned with gathering resources for their dealers. By the time the week was done, their business associates were incredibly pleased with the week’s dealings and their position within the industrial area was secured for awhile longer.

Cooking
Bongo and Mica initiated their weekly operation to secure and hold down control of the newly established labs at docks and quarry. They organized for all members of ENVY, ensuring that all gathered their weapons, armour, and raw materials to cook with. The sole intentions of the operation being to increase the growing stockpile belonging to ENVY and ensure that their business associate was happy. Throughout the night, they contained to hold down the drug lab(s) for hours on end and continue the cook. When supplies were running low, Mica would take lead on importing additional lysergic acid.

Evading
It was becoming more clear by the day law enforcement was growing weary with street racers in Los Santos. Hostile actions were becoming the norm and ENVY had started setting timers to see just how quickly it would take for shots to be fired during their typical pursuits to see if perhaps it was their imagination causing the chaos. When each evasion was met with aggression in under 5 minutes, plans were set into motion. Their old tricks were no longer working and the members of ENVY tasked themselves with finding new ways to keep the thrill of pursuits alive.

Racing
In between securing their associates and scouring the city for new areas to evade, ENVY continued to do what it did best - race. Two new tracks had been created and members were once more starting their nightly reach outs to friends and allies to join them in random racing competitions. Relays and random cars, one v ones, and follow the leader - despite the challenges they faced with heavy handed law enforcement interference, ENVY was determined to continue having fun.

Recruitment
ENVY has stayed true to Luca’s beliefs by focusing on a ‘single roster’ where all members are in the same time zone, thus allowing for all members to stay informed and follow the same direction by command and above. This meant joining the organization wasn’t easy - members looking to be recruited in had to spend several weeks racing with them and showing they were able and willing to meet at certain times. Recently, ENVY gathered at their home and sat down with their latest recruit, Joey Diesel, as they welcomed him into ENVY as an outsider.

This past weekend,  ENVY’s Command held a meeting to lock in plans for the month ahead. Sammy and Gav tossed around ideas until they hit gold, it was time to reignite the thrill of the street with an epic street  takeover. Known for blocking entire intersections for amazing burnouts, ENVYs takeovers are pure adrenaline. But this time, we'd add even more chaos with a new toy up their sleeves, radio jammers.

These weren’t just any jammers, if placed precisely they’d have the cops running in circles, clueless about where the action was. With the jammers cutting off police communication, we could paint the streets of Los Santos without interference, creating a trail of roaring engines, scorched tires, and  spectators egging them on Blaring their horns as they sit on the sidelines

We sent out texts to our connection of people, informing  them of the takeover at 8 pm on Oct 26. When the night finally arrived, gangs and crews gathered at OBS, each ready to unleash their machines. After a quick rally and introduction, the call was made to turn on the jammers. As soon as they were on we tore through the city, blocking intersections and lighting up the night.

Our route? City Mall to City Parking and then down Strawberry Avenue, each spot transforming into a stage for our tire shredding takeover!. The night was ours, and Los Santos would remember it. ENVY had taken over once again, leaving the Los Santos Police department in shambles

A NEW RELATION

After their joint Haunted Maze with Waterfelons, the members of ENVY were approached by Alliance requesting a meeting. Given the amount of people around, it was decided quickly to hold it within the hour and Alliance was provided an address.

When they arrived, introductions were made and goals were outlined. An offer was made given their aligned interests - in 24 hours, they would meet to jointly hit a bank.

The day of the two organizations met at Alliance HQ to visit their to scale mock up of the local banks. ENVY had several who had never hit a bank before and they listened intently as the members of Alliance walked those unfamiliar through step by step with visuals.

Those who were already familiar with the process made the plan with Bongo leading the ENVY side. Roles were assigned, locations were set, and they were off.

While everyone got into position and finalized their plans, Luca and Bongo put to good use the imports they’d brought in the night before to make their jobs easier. The process was simple.

Luca would place a radio jammer around Mission Row.

Bongo would utilize the GPS Encryption Zero Day their associates had brought in to track response from LEO.

As they were about to start, they ran into members of Rooks who were looking to do the same thing. They hopped on frequency and within minutes, the group of twenty or so managed to break into both LifeInvader and Pink Cage.

It wasn’t flawless - both times, police arrived out front and they utilized their collective evasion skills to escape the situation unscathed - and when the chaos had ended Alliance and ENVY met up at another location to run down how they could improve, how they could make it more fun, and a promise to one another to do it again soon.

Drag Races

It was a normal evening for ENVY, everyone hanging out at [REDACTED] , when one of ENVY’s newer members, Theo, came up with an idea. He suggested that we grab some cars and go drag race at Sandy Airfield. The airfield would give them enough space for a dragline, and would be mostly out of the way. The crew loved this idea and quickly set foot to get their stuff together. People went and grabbed cars they felt would be best in a Drag setting.

After some time, people made their way to the Airfield, pulling off to the side to make sure everything was ready. They checked their tires, oil, etc, making sure their cars were in top shape before they pushed them to their limits. The sun began to set and the air began to get crisp as everyone got ready. After everything was set, people started to line up, two at a time. Their Goal: Get to the end first! As they sat with anticipation, waiting for the countdown, the sound of engines revving and the smell of exhaust fumes filled the air. Eventually, the anticipation was all worth it when the drivers got the green light. As they flew down the airfield, the faint sound of engines whining and turbos spinning were heard.

As the night went on, more and more tire tracks began to be seen against the asphalt of the airfield as many cars raced down the line. When things began to slow, Theo came up with another great idea. He had everyone line up for a big finale race. The countdown soon began, the suspense in the air as everyone waited, before finally, the sound of several tires squealing on the pavement were heard for miles as the crew set off down the field. As everyone began to come to the finish, there was one clear winner of the Night. That winner would be Bongo, throughout the night in the group race, and in his face off races, he came out victorious.  As the night came to an end, many laughs were shared as everyone checked up on their cars, making sure they were still in top shape. Congratulations were shared, and everyone thanked Theo for the event as they began to clear from the airfield, awaiting for another enjoyable night.
