Diego_Montoya Posted May 3, 2023 Report Posted May 3, 2023 Hello, thank you to whom ever may read this. I was looking to see if there was a way to implement a system to remove demerits on your license. Similar to having points removed from your license. You take a course or maybe a quiz and if you pass with a score over 65% then you lose 1 demerit. But limit how often you can take these classes/quiz. Lets say Once every couple months. I ask because I've been driving around with 2 demerits for a year now and it'd be nice to be able to remove them.
Requiem Posted May 3, 2023 Report Posted May 3, 2023 Technically, this is something that could be pursued IC if you speak with the right people 1
Diego_Montoya Posted May 3, 2023 Author Report Posted May 3, 2023 Ive asked multiple officers but no one seems to know anything. One officer told me theyd bring it up to their boss.

There are other government departments that would be specific to this. Think in regards to your actual city/state/country on how laws are done there. Drivers license's aren't, in most countries afaik, issued by the Police Department. There's an entire government division dedicated to issuing licenses, handling license plates, vehicle registration, etc. That should give you a bit of a nudge on what @Requiem is hinting at.
Eliza Posted October 24, 2025 Report Posted October 24, 2025 This has since been implemented through IC measures
