Who is VENOM?

VENOM is a group of hackers in the city of Los Santos. VENOM is capable of hacking systems to get personal information of specific people, but is also able to hijack systems to control doors, disable PDA’s.

VENOM can also use this knowledge to track people down or find missing keys in a crime investigation. Making VENOM both legal and illegal.

VENOM is an alias the founder, VENOM, uses for her online research.

History of VENOM and its purpose:

VENOM is an alias , a 25 year old lady from Sweden.
VENOM has a rough past that caused her to use this alias. Using it to do research online and escape to Los Santos.
VENOM quickly realized there is a lot of corruption in the city of Los Santos, making her think.

On December 1st, 2022, she decided to bring back her alias. But this time, it’s to get the corruption out of the city.
VENOM got to work and got herself a bunch of servers, capable enough to do some hacks through the city… Maybe even more than “some” hacks.

On December 8, VENOM decides to raise awareness of VENOM being in town. She hacks a few ATMs and then gets to work to mass hack all the ATMs in the city. Making her able to scout potential hackers in Los Santos. Are they worthy to become a part of VENOM?

The future of VENOM:

In about a month, VENOM will have one or more vehicles to be mobile and doing operations whilst on the road. These will be unmarked vehicles and do not have a specific color as of yet.

In about a year, VENOM should be known in the city of Los Santos.
VENOM should have its own building that is used as an HQ for meetings and such.

 

How to join VENOM?

To join VENOM, make sure to read this file and see if you’re willing to help VENOM with this.

You can’t contact VENOM, VENOM finds you if they’re interested.

How to get them interested, you ask?

Simple, show your skills. Hack Weazel news and publish an advert with YOUR alias, hack ATMs and put YOUR alias on them. (/fdo [ALIAS] was here!)

VENOM will notice these actions with time and keep track of you to see your progress.

 

Expectations

VENOM expects you to:

-Have at least 30.000 XP.

-Have basic hacking roleplay. (Examples given below)

-Have screen recording software. (Ex. Nvidia GeForce Experience, Open Broadcaster Software. Used for proof of RP)

-Have Discord

Nice to have:

-A character with a hacking backstory.

-Be sure if you want to be legal/illegal.

 

 

What does VENOM offer?

VENOM offers you:

-Freedom: No strict rules that tell you what to wear, what to drive, or to be on shift all the time.

-Power: VENOM allows you to gain access to the city’s most hidden secrets. But also allows you to take someone down if needed.

-Contacts: Thanks to VENOM, you are able to get in contact with the most wanted people in Los Santos. You can also get in contact with the highest officials in Los Santos.

-Insight: VENOM makes YOU able to enter areas you never expected to be. Maybe not physically, but surely digitally. Taking over camera’s is a thing, allowing you to keep an eye on your favorite officer/criminal.

 

 

Cases (examples):

Case: OTF has admin approval to break someone out of DOC and requires help from VENOM to open the gates/doors. (Rooks RP not included) Keep in mind that our RP has to be accepted by the admins too!

 

-VENOM will meet with OTF about a deal and will be paid in cash. Plans will be made.

-OTF and VENOM set up a way to communicate. Radio is a possibility on an encrypted channel.

-OTF heads to DOC and warns VENOM to start the operation.

-VENOM hacks into the network of DOC and slow but surely gains access to the door controls

 and/or camera systems.

-VENOM hijacks the DOC radio frequency, making them unable to communicate.

-OTF heads to the gate/front desk as VENOM opens the doors/gates for entrance.

-OTF neutralizes some guards and gets the keys from one of the guards, enabling them to open up the gate to the cellblock.

-OTF gets the person they wanted to get out and gets into the getaway car.

-As soon as OTF leaves DOC, VENOM will close all gates and doors. Keeping as much inmates in there as possible.

-As soon as OTF is in a safe space, the radio frequency will be released. Allowing DOC to communicate to the outside world again.

 

Case: PD wants to catch OTF members after a successful bank robbery. PD knows names but needs to track them down. Admins approved the RP for VENOM.

 

-VENOM will meet with PD to receive names and other information required for the operation.

-VENOM will start tracking down the members of which they received the names or information.
-As soon as VENOM has some patterns or concrete information, they will signal this to PD.

-PD will head to the location and will react to the signal VENOM gives.

-When VENOM signals PD to head in, PD heads in and should be able to arrest the members.
-After PD arrests the members, a payment will be made to VENOM.

 

 

Basic rules:

OOC:

OOC Toxicity is not allowed (warning)

OOC Corruption is allowed but requires owner approval (warning)

Leaving the discord server means leaving the faction, unless by accident (discharge)

Poor RP standards (warning)

 

IC:

Exposing anyone’s identity to the public (discharge)

Involved in a gang shootout (discharge)

Opening backdoors for YOUR easy entrance (discharge if found)

Exposing plans/locations (discharge)

Exposing you’re part of VENOM (discharge)

Calling friends/family whilst in an active situation. (warning)

Warning people about plans (discharge)

 

You can have a maximum of 3 warnings. After 3 warnings you will be either suspended or discharged. (Resets every month)

Ranks:

ROOT - Leader and founder.

ROOT is responsible for running the business and everything that comes with it.
He/she takes full responsibility when things go sour and keeps in touch with most leaders of gangs/government facilities.

SuperUser - Assistant leader.

SuperUser (SU) keeps an eye on the operations and makes sure things go as planned. Keeping an eye on the progress and helping out where required.

Admin - Manager.

Admin makes sure that the people below him/her are doing their jobs and are not slacking. They are the first contact for User and NEWB roles.

User - General staff

User is a role where the general staff works. This staff usually stays busy with the operation and the work to get that done. They rarely have to worry about responsibilities.

NEWB - Trainee

NEWB’s are trainees, people in these roles are learning the way how VENOM works. They are vulnerable and will be kept an eye on, to make sure they are no threat to VENOM.

 

 

Divisions:

Legal:

As a member of the Legal division, you are responsible for helping out the government when a request comes in. This might be tracking down a person the government is looking for.

Illegal:

As a member of the Illegal division, you are responsible for helping out the gangs/criminals. You help the criminals get to their goal.

 

All-round:

As a member of the All-Round division, you are responsible for doing both Legal and Illegal jobs. You help both the government and criminals.

The (Home)Office

VENOM now has a working office that allows some more extensive hacks to be done from a single location.
VENOM is now able to create, edit and run scripts from the comfort of an office. Which allows automated hacks and smarter scripts.

Plans for the future will be a property that allows more servers and a seperated office, as the temperatures in this office aren't ideal for both human and machine.

Big plans ahoy!

For the past few days VENOM has been working on a plan to show their first MAJOR activity in the city. Countless of scenarios have been thought through and I can finally announce to you. A scenario is in the making.

VENOM likes to tease a bit. And this is exactly what's happening OOCly as well. Hence, exact details will not be given.

 

A mobile command unit is slow but surely being build, allowing VENOM to hack closer to their target. Allowing them to see the actual target as they hack it. But also allows them to do remote hacks.

The vehicle is equipped with a dash mounted laptop and several communication devices in the back.

 

For now, VENOM will stay quiet about the great plan.

The initial ideas will be shared after the RP to not spoil a great story where a lot of work and effort will be put into.

ATM Hacks

Lately, people have noticed ATMs getting hacked. VENOM uses multiple ways to get to them.
-Remotely using a backdoor previously installed.
-Spoofing of a bank card.
-Other creative ways.

VENOM has noticed a few people, doing the same and is keeping a close eye on people who try to get in contact.
