Starlet_bruh Posted December 3, 2022 Report Posted December 3, 2022 (edited) to give another use to chopping tools rather than only chopping, the ability to import bulletproof doors or tyres, or possibly upgraded engines as you would with body armour which you can install onto personal vehicles using toolbox, car lift and the usual tools. when said vehicle is destroyed/seized the parts are lost. if possible armoured parts could decrease car performance as they add more weight in awkward places. this would bring a lot more RP oppurtunities for criminals, and allow them to earn some extra cash modifying other players vehicles using their chop shops, as well as a way to make unused, cheaper vehicles able to be brought up to par with the more expensive cars if you are willing to put in some extra effort/money Edited December 3, 2022 by Starlet_bruh
Kommand Posted December 4, 2022 Report Posted December 4, 2022 -1. There are too many script problems with the way the Buffalo STX & Patriot Mil Spec are bulletproofed. I think any attempt to incorporate armored improvements will lead to the same script issues. Desync is also common, (vehicles in particular) where these proposed upgrades indirectly and directly influence RP, often with absurdly unfair and unbalanced punishments. Cool idea in concept with the immersive improvements to gearheadRP, though. Would make mechanic work a lot more engaging.
Requiem Posted December 5, 2022 Report Posted December 5, 2022 -1 we don't need anymore bulletproof vehicles in the server. While it would promote good RP for the design and mechanic work, it would promote very poor RP for shootouts and situations involving the bulletproof vehicles in use. There is already an open suggestion/discussion on it, but I think the current bulletproof vehicles (buffalo STX and patriot milspec) should not be allowed in civilian hands as it is. It makes no realistic sense. 1
