Celestial Posted July 17, 2022 Report Posted July 17, 2022 (edited) Right now, when mechanics work on a vehicle and finishes working on it, the customer receives the following message in the chat-box: [SUCCESS] You have paid $[Payment] for the mechanics services! What I am suggesting is the removal of this message for the customer. It doesn't serve any purpose other than making customers rush back to their vehicles and in some cases, drive off. Mechanics should be the side to inform the customer of whether their vehicle is ready or not to boost player-to-player interactions, not a automated message (obviously they don't have timers on their phone to determine how long the repair would take). Customer also already knows how much they pay for from the initial invoice. [TL;DR] Remove the message for customer, its only problematic and creates less player-to-player interaction/communication. Zoah Posted July 17, 2022 Report Posted July 17, 2022 Nice suggestion. Sometimes the mechanic's RP takes longer than the script repair Quote
Puzzling Posted July 18, 2022 Report Posted July 18, 2022 I agree, there is no reason for the automatic messages for something that should be handled by the mechanic working on the vehicle. Just because a script is complete doesn't mean the RP is. Nice QoL Quote
Requiem Posted July 19, 2022 Report Posted July 19, 2022 +1 Always in support of adding to the RP quality. Quote
MrGamer1823 Posted September 25, 2022 Report Posted September 25, 2022 +1 it is annoying when the customer comes up to you and says, “thank you and goodbye” while there is still RP left also when they get into their car before the rp is finished. Quote
Requiem Posted September 26, 2022 Report Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) It doesn't make much sense why the mechanic wouldn't have control of something like this for sure. It should also be on the players asking for thr work to allow other proper RP time too... Edited September 26, 2022 by Bill Breacher Quote
