CycloneDavid Posted October 27, 2018 Report Posted October 27, 2018 Hey all, I've been apart of the server for nearly a week now, and I clock about 4 to 6 hours a night on it. I try to follow the road rules to the best of my ability to add the real factor, though so many times people are doing 90+ within the city, driving through stuff, wrong side of the road, purposely sometimes crashing into me or my truck when I'm driving it, and it really sucks though I know there's no much that can be done to stop people that are bored I guess. My question for this post though is regarding traffic enforcement by the police. Is there such a thing on this server? I know they'll respond to bigger pressing matters that are radio'd in, though I've seen plenty of times where a patrol is stopped. I'll either be there talking with the Officer or just parked and someone will come driving through on the wrong side of the road, or they are speeding, and not once have I seen a patrol take off after them, nor have I ever seen a patrol with a car simply pulled over as I pass. Not picking, just asking the question. For those that follow the rules at least to an extent; I thank you as its people like us that are making this game very enjoyable at least from my perspective. xxStallingCoinxx Posted October 27, 2018 Report Posted October 27, 2018 Yes, the police do enforce traffic laws. (speeding, running red lights, parking on a red curb, etc.). Not many people drive RPly though.
CycloneDavid Posted October 28, 2018 Author Report Posted October 28, 2018 (edited) Its funny because there are so many rules to keeping it real life and IC as much as possible, though simple road rules are not a big deal. Now I get it totally - Your not gonna stop at every red light or stop sign, or stay to the speed limit (that's a real life thing too) but to race past a cop and do burn outs, or smash into things, run multiple red lights and drive off in-front of a law enforcer is the definition of unrealistic right?
